I've got my hands on a new one x, now I've unlocked the bootloader and installed CWM recovery and its all rooted, I've done all the usual with wiping everything, but it keeps coming up with installation aborted, can anyone shed some light on this one for me, now I'm used to doing custom roms on my gnex and I really can't see where I'm going wrong

Sure you are fully rooted? Try a root app such as no-frills, titanium backup etc to see if it fully works.

I had this Rom, just flashed the lastest recovery in fastboot,. Try flashing this in fastboot
check if the forum where you downloaded the rom matches to your phone...at & t one x is not the same like european one x's, because of the chipsets.
That could probably be the reason for aborting...
I have the lastest recovery buddy

Have you tried installing a simple mod, anything, to see if your system partition can get remounted with rw?
Another thing I would try is to install supersu if you're using superuser and vice versa, and update su binaries.

You need to flash the kernel separately using fastboot. HOX doesn't have s-off so the kernel isn't flashed in recovery.
Extract the boot.img from the rom zip and fastboot flash boot boot.img
I tried that and it kep me in a bootloop still, and its s-on

At what point does it loop?
If at the HTC logo, boot.img is probably still wrong, if later on, try wiping dalvik cache.
Hi everyone:
Before I decided to post this, I have been search for a while...... but nothing related about it.
My one x just have no usb mount when I plug the cable, It doesn't shown even in recovery mode.
It charging but can't mount the storage even I try to fastboot command in bootloader.
anybody can solve this? Thank you in advance.
Bad cable? Bad usb port? Missing drivers?
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
No
I try another 2 cable is the same
Try installing htc sync and see if that solves it.

I try to re install smart sync to my pc but it still didn't work.

The fact that fastboot is working, it means that your drivers and cable is working.

Fastboot seem not work, I'm unlock device and install ARHD 9.70 and Kernel from faux 10m (before fuax I'm move from ncx kernel)
In bootloader they only charge and when I try to fastboot erase cache it just waiting for device.
In recovery, when I mount sd it doesn't show the storage too.
When in the android os, plug it and it doesn't ask for storage or charging but the charging light it show.
I think the problem it not in the computer because I try to plug 2 different computer and show only the light.
Thank you.

Do you have the latest clockworkmod recovery? Should be 5.8.4.0. Worth reinstalling it, anyway.
Yes, I used this version. Any new suggestion.

what os are you using? if you're using debian based ones, you may need to setup the udev. or are you using win8? there are some reports that it is not working well in win8
I'm using windows 7 and also try with the windows xp. Sorry what is udev?

erm, try to do the following:
1. Start(the windows start button) + r
2. Enter cmd and press ok
3. Type "adb devices"
Does it return any result?
I will try when I get to home but thank you for supported.

Sorry, I just back from aboard and when I got home I try to flash recovery again
and stuck on "still waiting for device".
Also when I try to adb devices there are only shown "List of devices attached".
Do this is hardware fault? please give me an advice.
Than you in advance

R: [Q] Missing PK76DIAG.zip during HBOOT
Nobody has that file. When you go to hboot it will keep saying missing file bla bla. Don't look at that, it doesn't matter
The reason I'm asking is because when I try to flash recovery it won't recognize my device so I did a little research and i found that it had to do something with that file not being found

Connect the phone in fastboot mode, go to computer - >manage - >there should be a device with our driver. Right click on it, update driver and locate it manually in htc sync folder
I'm currently at work but I will try this soon as I'm home

I just enter to the boot scene where it says "Shendu" and nothing happens.
So I tried to take out the simcard and I thought it might help it did, I entered to the system normally, but when I wanted to restart the phone, with or without the simcard its just the same ****, same boot menu cant pass that.
I tried boot.img, boot-HELLBOY-CM10-201305202359.img but none works ;/
