Embryo 6.1.1 or 6.3??? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Which one do you guys think is better? i was testing 6.1.1 and everything was great smooth. I just flash the 6.3 and it seems to be a bit slower than 6.1.1 and i got an fc with the playstore. Anyways since im new here, can you guys tell me wich one you think is more solid?

For you 6.1
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app

6.1.1 was an attempt by a new guy to streamline the flashing process for Hercules users. It is not a different Rom. If your going to run Embryo you should download and run the officially released and supported ROM.

Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Yes. Sense kernels only work with Sense ROMs and AOSP kernels only work with AOSP ROMs.

MIUI is awesome but I just replaced with sense because I had horrible battery life on MIUI (along with some other issues). How's your battery life ?

I'm actually still on 1.1.28. I was planning on updating today but I was too busy playing Uncharted 2. You do not need to flash an AOSP kernel first because one comes packaged with the ROM. All ROMs come packaged with kernels. If you don't like the one it comes with, you can flash a different one after flashing the ROM.
Whereabouts can I find an MIUI rom? I found one and downloaded it but it wasn't a zip file?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
The link to the MIUI thread here on xda is in my sig.
Yea. Thays the one and when I downloaded it it was like a program not a zip file. Did I do something wrong?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
It downloads as an exe file?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Where are you finding an .exe? The "download here" link takes you to the official MIUI release thread on miui-dev where you can download it. It is definitely a zip file. http://forums.miui-dev.com/showthread.php?2053

Therefore you need to install touch recovery to use the aroma installer. Very nice from with options to kernels .

[Q] Best JB Rom? opinion based.

Well guys, I know there isn't a lot of stable JB roms out there.
But based on YOUR opinion and experience which ones are the best? It could be AOSP.
Actually most of them I've tried have been pretty stable. I'm on paradroid right now and everything is smooth.
Sent from my A500 using Tapatalk 2
Sprints official jb port is by far the best one.

Read those threads and see what people post the most of. Being spoon fed is shunned here. It only takes about 5 minutes to skim through the last 5 pages and get an idea of the ROM.

I personally have been using Deviant Dev FrostyJB_4.1.1-v6. It is really fast but not has fast as Wicked ICS v7 Rom. But I just love the Frosty Jelly bean the only problem I am having now is that whenever I restart my phone it switches the default keyboard back to stock and not swiftkey 3.
i've been jumping around from CM10 nightlies, PA 2.23/2.51/2.52, and Liquid Smooth RC7... trying to find a good battery.
out of the 3, i like CM10 the most, so i'll probably go back to CM10 nightlies, if not CM10 M2.
My fav have been so far Frostys and Paranoid Android, Im currently using the Sprint Jellybean release which seems to be to basic compared to those mentioned.
Latest cm10 nightly for me
