[UPDATED][Boot Animation + Sound -Fixed] Droid RAZR boot animation for SGA

UPDATED: Boot sound for Samsung ROM has been fixed.
UPDATED: Now it's cropped correctly and the image quality has been improved.
Hi All,
I've just found the original Motorola Droid RAZR boot animation. It looks really nice and futuristic, so I decided to edit it to fit in our SGA because the original boot animation was for HDPI devices which appears bigger in SGA.
Yes, you can use this boot animation in any rom.
How to install (it's not flashable):
Download the attached zip file bootanimation.zip (don't change the name)
Use root explorer or same kind of tool.
Copy the boot animation from SD card and paste it to /system/media folder
Reboot, and see the changes...
How to install boot sound (for any CM7-based ROM):

Download the attached zip file android_audio.zip and then extract it
Copy the mp3 file android_audio.mp3 from SD card and paste it to /system/media folder
Reboot
How to install boot sound (for any Samsung-based ROM):
Download the attached zip file PowerOn.zip and then extract it
Copy the wav file PowerOn.ogg from SD card and paste it to /system/etc folder
Reboot

it just doesn't work !
i've downloaded many boot animations including yours .. my ace is rooted with the upd_1.zip , moved the bootanimation.zip to system/media and didn't work .. tried to move it to data/local and it did not work .. what am i doing wrong ?

yes go there i follow the instruction n it works, now im using this boot animation..thank you it works on my stock DXKPD

Why equalizers won't work with creeds rom?

Well that's my question, I tried to install several equializer programs and no one works!, also could creed install spanish in the next release, please!!!

What about dsp manager?

Its becouse in creed rom v 2 creed using xloudsound enchancement its cause ur equalizer not work bcoz even ur equalizer work it will get conflict with xloudsound enchancement script and make ur phone speaker dead or brick....
Soo just keep it tumb bcos is ther any reason creed 21 remove the equalizer manager

Just a info pratyush doesn't want make another update and remove all link creed v20 and 21 check android development creed rom v21 in there u will find the reason why creed stop any update and remove all link.

Xloud removal
The problem is xloud engine because of it any audio enhancer wont work in creeds v2.1.But u can remove xloud engine.
Before doing this do a backup of your files I'm not responsible if any thing goes wrong.
1.Use any root explorer and mount system as writable.
2.Go to system/app delete audioeffectservice.apk.
3.Go to system/lib/soundfx delete libxloudwrapper.so
4.Go to system/lib and replace libaudioeffect_ini.so file with one i attached(first unzip it them replace with libaudioeffect_ini.so)
5.Go to system and open build.prop with text editor and delete the lines under Xloud engine(4 lines till bravia engine) then save it and do a full reboot.
now Xloud engine should be removed and all audio enhancers should work.
I have already tested it on my Sgy.
Just press thanks if it works for you.

Hello All,
I know this question was already raised by many but I dont see an appropriate answer to this.. I searched the whole forum but I didnt get a proper method of how to enable the sound file(mp3) saved in the bootanimation.zip. I got following thread which was quite useful but not totally..

I saw some nice thread for moto droid but it has different format than that of Arc. So please we need similar kind of procedure for arc.. thanks..

Here ya go. It worked on my ZTE Blade, but the volume is extra loud.
It's not the same though.

the media folder has the files in it .. just change it to whatever you want

No, you are not getting me.. The application u told has in built list of animations but I dont want the animations.. I already have many animation zip files but I want to know how to add a sound file to it and how to enable it.. ?

Dude... Check it out... The name of the app is Bootanimation Changer, but it can also change the sounds!

Ok.. I understand that it also changes the sound but I wont to set my own sound n not the one which comes with the built in bootanimations in that list of the app.. I hope u got me now.. I dont see any option in the app where I can set my own sound..

if you are rooted then navigate to system/media find the bootanimation you want you use.
unzip file
insert sound files.
rezip
This might help not 100% sure.
I have not tried it dont know if it will work.

I think you just put a mp3 file called "bootanim.mp3" inside the bootanimation.zip file: -
* Extract the file some-where on your pc.
* put bootanim.mp3 in the same folder as desc.txt (this is the root of the extracted file).
* re-create the zip file called bootanimation.zip BUT you must use "store" compression.
* put the new bootanimation.zip into the /system/media folder of your android device (requires a program like "root browser")
That should do it...

so I have manage to do all the things I like to the Official JB stock rom Deodex XXDLIB and I want to share it here.
so you have 4 files attached:
1. SecPhone.apk- for NO Increase volume ring+recording call - just copy the file in the zip to SYSTEM/APP with Root explorer (I recommend Super Manager - free root explorer from Play Store) - pls delete the file in the SYSTEM/APP before you copy my file!!!
2. SystemUi.apk - for Making my battery mod work- just copy the file in the zip to SYSTEM/APP with Root explorer (I recommend Super Manager - free root explorer from Play Store) - pls delete the file in the SYSTEM/APP before you copy my file!!!
3. Digits_Theme.zip - CWM file - flash this file for my battery mod in CWM and reboot- pls look at the pic to see my battery mod! the numbers are big and white so you can see it clear at the bar!
4. default_gain.conf - just copy the file in the zip to (r/o)/etc with Root explorer (i recomend Super Manager - free root explorer from Play Store) - this is for the loud volume hack! pls delete the file in the (r/o)/etc before you copy my file!!!
so that my little work, if you like it pls recommend it...

Definitely a difference between this and bravia engine 1,the screen much more vivid :laugh:
No problem so far, so if you want to try,Download file from attachement.
Extract the contents of the attachment, I've put them on the location folder, example:
The contents of app/ to system/app/
The contents of etc/ to system/etc/
The contents of lib/ to system/lib/
Set their permissions to rw-r--r--. And then, add these lines to build.prop:
ro.service.swiqi2.supported=true
persist.service.swiqi2.enable=1
Save, Reboot Enjoy

I didnt find anything in the real thread telling me to flash...Though i checked flashing and it works fine

I got the Bravia Mobile Engine (1?..) and it works veery well!!! Everything displayed is improved a lot. The pics in a newsapp become awesome sharp and with wonderful contrast.

i already tried it. i can't see any improvements.

Take a look at your photographies. There is more contrast, they are more sharp, and you probably notice more depth in picture. In the end it depends on your eyes. And dont try it in sunlight, our screen is too poor for it.
