yes, there isn't any solution. I read it before I posted the link, and I posted it to let you know that Skype is not compatible with our wildfires. And the reasons are also in the link. I guess you will have to look for an alternative.
hope this helps you to clear things up.
And if I helped you in any way please don't forget to press the thanks button.

But thats not the solution. I m waiting if anyone can come up with a trick or something
Anyways thanks for ur help

If i root my phone and overclock it to 800 MHZ .. Will this help ??? But i m afraid of rooting this.. Its little complicated.. I have rooted my galaxy y.. It was fine and easy.. But :/

Overclocking wildfire to 800MHz isn't a good idea. As I know the maximum is around 760MHz and is unstable, correct me if i'm wrong. overclocking wouldn't help.
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda app-developers app

alright 760 mhz !! Skype need 600..
If i ll overclock to 760.. Will it help ?

Odp: Skype On HTC Wildfire a3333
Nope. I tried a lot of roms and even if i set cpu to 768 mhz, it doesn't work. Willy is too old for this kind of apps );

768 is not stable at all. It will give random reboot.
Btw i dont think overclocking will help. I tried skype few days ago but it was so hell slow that i had to remove it.

I said overclocking would not help, and I totally agree with drewniany92 and alamgirqazi.
Sorry mate, but Skype and Wildfire just doesn't go together.

shubhamchamaria, let me tell you that I don't have an internet connection on my PC... And if I use my mobile, my 1GB mobile data will fly away in a minute!! And even the speed would be super slow!
But I can download a 20-30MB video...

Without internet on the pc you cannot root the phone ...Also just use hasoon2000's toolkit to unlock bootloader and install custom recovery using that...Once you do it you'll know it's a lol process...

kernel for wildfire

Hello all, I just broke my Xperia Arc S and I replace it for a HTC Wildfire.
I install CM7.2 and it works great, but I want to know if there is any better kernel to performance the device.
Thanks and best regards.

I believe the nFinity kernel is already a good kernel
I'm using the SympFinity at the moment (linked in my sig) and I'm finding it a bit better for battery life - but that could just be me - regarding performance I don't see/feel any differences.

I couldnt find it in my hard drive. Better pm Kieranftw and ask him for it or wait for someone who has the file.
I have it on SDcard
Uploading to drop box
Edit: I made a quick account on drop box, I was curious to know which is better, drop box or Gdrive. I guess I'll know now since i have an account on both

Short answer: no.
I haven't tried that play kernel but I remember that I've read about problems some time ago (can't remember what exactly, though)

No,
In infinityPLAY you can over clock up to 788 MHz. But in sympfinity the max is 768.
Furthermore, Infinityplay has a low battery life.
So i would recommend if you try sympfinity kernel

Thanks man I've been looking for this kernal aswell!
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using xda premium
I think that the best kernel is infinity play. In fact you can set ur cpu on 788 mhz but it really harms ur battery. This kernel is IMO a little bit faster than for ex hdcr

[APP] Temple Run for WFS

Hey,
I found a version of temple run that works for our device. Just make sure you set your governor to performance and max freq possible for your kernel before playing this.
I tested it in a sense rom and it worked fine. Didnt test it in ICS or JB. So any inputs will be welcome..

Basic & simple & good battery ROM (looking for)

Hello!
some month ago gave my father a phone and put one of the roms I saw in xda .. im not sure, maybe stock ROM.
I can not try much because my father currently uses the phone.
What ROM you recommend?
I look for simple ROM, like MIUI or even more, as Windows Phone or something... also the with long battery life. I tried changing the governor in his ROM but I notice lag ...
He do not use Internet: Just call and sometime bluetooth to connect the phone to the car.
Thanx for your reply!
