I tried a couple of roms and not working the mhl (what you connect the phone to the TV with the HDMI cable), do not put it as a bug, but I do not work (if the stock rom). If someone ever tried that works, which I could comment? .

I purchased the MHL cable and m using it happily..
The only sad thing is i dont get a full HDMI output.
I guess the 480 x 800 res is relayed.
Is there some way to improve the resolution to 1920x1080.

No. The phone will output is its normal resolution.
Only videos (and maybe photos, I haven't checked) are output in 1920x1080.
Having an MHL connection on a device doesn't necessarily mean it will output at 1080p, and I wouldn't have expected developers to go and re-create everything in their Android apps, and redesign all the graphics in HD, just for the sake of the MHL output connector of the Galaxy S II
Not that I'm aware of, only video content will be output at its full resolution.
I guess we'll be waiting for 720p resolution screens and MHL to come out before browsing and document display/editing come into their own.

I don't think the devs are going to be able to do anything here, they can't even get MHL to work on non-stock based ROMs, so just seems a bit out of reach.

Hi fellow XDA members and SGW owners.
Is there any way possible that I can use internet on the SGW using my computer internet connection with USB connection. The HTC phone have this capability but I can seem to find this option on the SGW. Can someone teach me how to do it. I don't have any wireless router at home and I cannot fully unlocked my SGW capabilities at home since I cannot connect it to the Internet. I will greatly appreciate any feedback from anyone that could help me. Thanks!!!!

Other than that, try wireless solution, like Connectify, or even this "may" work....Virtual Router

No it won't work with Galaxy W as SGW doesn't support MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link).

You misconceived his answer. That thread talks about both the American Nexus dock - and the Galaxy S3 dock from the German website.
Someone should try it with the new leaked rom, I think.

as far as im aware it does.bsplayer from playstore does mhl fine
