I've been trying to find a picture frame widget that works as good as the TW widget but they don't enlarge pictures as they should or they suck. Is there a way to port the TW widget to AOSP Roms? The AOSP Photo Gallery widget doesn't allow you to enlarge pictures like the TW widget.

Not sure but u can try photo frame widget from play store
Why not crop the image to the desired size?

Well you could back up you're current rom, install a touchwiz rom pull the galery with root browser, restore your aosp rom and replace the gallery with root browser

You could also push a AOSP GoogleGallery.apk to system/app and have than the AOSP Gallery widget. I did the same.
Hi guys,
I'm currently switcher over to start using nova launcher however I can't get the calender widget to act right. I love how it looks on TouchWiz, however when I use the widget over on nova launcher it's pretty terrible and overall different. On touchwiz, the Calender widget displays as a month view which is really nice, and I can easily add things to the calender without launcher the calender app.
On Nova Launcher, I'm finding that the calender widget is different, and instead of having a month view, it just shows the present day.
Any advice or Calender widget apps to recommend?

Nvm. It just links to stock calender. I'm using adw launcher and the Callender widget looks the same as stock tw, but only a 2x3 size
I'm trying out Business Calendar and liking it so far. I'm trying to find replacements for all the TW features I like so I can jump to CM10 when it gets a little more stable.

Could someone make a mod to give us a 100% stock AOSP lockscreen option? I like using Nova but the touchwiz lockscreen in ruining the experience. Plus lockscreen apps like widgetlocker kinda suck.

Not even close to stock. For instance, no camera shortcut, no google now shortcut. The samsung clock widget is still on the screen.

My buffalo, just read your post in there and his response. I made the ICS lockscreen mod for the E4GT in the past:here From my understanding it is really just turning on the feature in the android.policy.jar. My guess is that Shiftr made the changes and what he wants to see. But in order to make it full JB it would take some heavy modification to the android.policy.jar and framework-res.apk to include those feature you seek. I am not saying it is impossible but there is a reason you only see it in AOSP roms.
I would love to see a flashable zip!
