Hello I tried flashing a CWM Touch recovery I compiled and after I flashed the recovery it didn't boot it was stuck at the HTC logo so I hard restet and tried again. Here's where it happened: I tried booting into bootloader and it didn't work... I tried the QHSUSB_DOWNLOAD fix nada... Right now it's unplugged and there is a constant orange LED light. Please help as I need this phone tomorrow
EDIT: I don't know what the f*** happened but I used the QHSUSB_DLOAD Fix tool while FORCING my device into the QHSUSB_DLOAD mode and it almost instantly booted up :laugh:

When it was plugged in nothing happened and I was worried about it being a hard brick... But I fixed it now read the OP

Man it seems like alot of One V's get bricked.. I'm getting nervous. I rooted many phones and tablets with no error, but I hope this one goes smooth for me..

Yeah I see that they're really easy to brick... Just be careful about how you get into HBOOT!! I am still wondering what state my phone was in. I hard reset it and held down the Vol Up and Power while connected to the fix QHsUSB_DOWNLOAD Fixer and it kicked it back to normal somehow

I just rooted my HTC Desire and installed CM7 on it (loved it on my HTC Legend). But suddenly today, after I turned Wifi on, it started rebooting all the time, couldn't do anything to stop it. I thought "Hey, there was the radio flash thing in the tutorial that I didn't do yet, I'll try that out" so I flashed the radio. Then I chose reboot system, but it just booted to a logo with an android coming out of a trash can, and looked kinda stuck there. So I took out the battery and plugged back in. Now if I try to turn it on, it'll just vibrate 7 times - no picture or anything. Also there's no LED when I plug it to the charger.
I had those 7 vibrates too.
Happened after i flashed the cm7 hboot over my stock hboot while trying to enter recovery. After i re-flashed my recovery using fastboot, everything worked again. What happens if you try to power up while holding down vol- ? Did you use fastboot or your phones recovery mode to install the radio?
I am not able to start in recovery or anything. I tried vol. down + power and back + power and no matter what I try, it just vibrates 7 times. I used the recovery mode to install the radio.
You could try to connect your phone via usb and check if fastboot discovers your device. If yes, flash hboot and recovery using fastboot. If not, well... i dont have a clue. Sorry :/

Bad news when u pulled battery u interrupt the process n u now have a bricked device I would b very surprised if u managed to do anything

the image showing would of ment it was installing the radio and because u pulled battery u have corrupt the flash and unfortuntly bricked ur device

all depends on if ur on warranty if u have receipt and warranty then all is ok with out them u stuck basically

For the record to help some of you out who ended up here Googling: I had a similar issue. My HTC Desire SV did not boot, and when charging, only had an orange flashing light, and the phone vibrated 7 times. I did 2 things that got it back up:
1) left the phone off for say 10 minutes (I read about overheating issues in general, although the phone did not feel hot).
2) removed the battery for a couple of minutes.
VERY IMPORTANT: for step 2: make sure to have the battery removed long enough to drain internal charge. I removed and installed the battery in a second or so at first, and still the phone did not boot. After leaving out the battery long enough, it booted again. It appears to me that the issue in my case was a rather big internal charge capacity which kept internal state (memory and/or CPU?) from booting. Hope this helps...
I installed Harmonia 3.0 and this time.. it just sends me to a black screen w/ back light.. I wait awhile and i get system process forcle close message and i cant touch anything. The capacitive buttons vibrate but i get nothing. Hold power and vol down and i get into another black screen but the Led light is on since im plugged in my computer. I have a back up too. but what can i do now?

And... how do i do that? I tryed the all in one kit and it just says device is not found. But my computeter recognizes it because it makes a sound when i unplug it and plug it in.. When i go into Fastboot or bootloader i just get a backlight screen. and when it reboots i just get a black screen folowed by a Process system is not responding force close after 1 minute:crying::crying:
1st I don't trust ROMS that are not posted on XDA, 2nd why don't you contact them on there forums and ask for help.

Well none of those really mattter i thought.. my computer atleast recognigzes it and stuff but when i try to use the cmd prompt is says its not found. When powered down it showed LED.. therres little hope i think? If not.. im going to hard brick it and send it in to HTC

i already searched a lot, but i didn't find anything useful so i post here hoping that someone can help me. i really need my phone so before send it to htc service i have to try to get it back working.
simply yesterday my phone went off because of low battery. when i got back home i try to charge it, but nothing happened. so i tried using pc in order to see if something happen, and led started to blink slow (orange led). so i turned it on, and it worked. then i was using it (connected to the wall charger) and it frozed, at 9% battery. so i tried to restart it (by pressing power and vol down), but nothing happened... it was completely dead, i tried:
-wall-charger;
-pc-usb;
-change different charger/different usb cables);
-i left it the night connected to the charger);
-no adb, and obviously i can't get the phone in recovery/bootloader/fastboot...
i was on hboot 1.3x... don't remember which number cause i updated the hboot a few days ago. i was on viper rom and i was using the tripndroid kernel based on official nvidia sources (really like their works )
hoping that someone can help me
however in the next days i will send it back to htc but i need to try something cause i really need my phone in those days and i have no replacement. will htc repair my phone for free? (remember that i unlocked it)

That means your phone is broken. It needs a new motherboard.
Nobody has recovered from that. Some people have managed to get the phone working after APX, but it seems to go back to APX mode.

APX mode is a sort of nvidia recovery partition, as far as i know...

Now my phone doesnt switch on to bootloader nor does it show the charging LED!'
I have a primoU device. Ive googled aroud and found out that it could be a hard brick and the only way is to give it to a service centre..
But the problem there is i live in INDIA and we dont have much service centres here, the closest one is around 400kms from my home :/
So i wanna really make sure that is it worth travelling all those miles..
PLUS, My warranty expired 2 months back :crying:

Try reverting to stock with a stock backup you'll find that on xda ... of your phones not booting into bootloader manually try using the all in one kit..it should have such an option although i didn't try this... If u can boot in bootloader then there's 99.9% chance that ur phone will come back to live
hold your power button until the screen goes off
then hold down your volume down button until u boot into bootloader
if it doesnt boot, try and try again
if u can boot into bootloader, the rest is easy

Sorry mate then I'm afraid it's bricked but still you should keep trying put the phone in charging even if its not showing led signal.. Then try again to boot into bootloader...maybe it helps..coz it should not brick so easily:fingers-crossed:

The phone is off, it will take years to drain the battery

Actually it is a very good idea i myself did it once .. but the difference was that screen was struck on white bright HTC screen taking a lot of battery so it got discharged in 10 hrs but just now it will take a lot of time .. so i don't think you have that much patience...
That happened to me too, but that's not a brick, that's just stuck. This dude's phone is badly bricked, only way would be to find a driver for QHSUBS_DLOAD but I don't think it will be easy to find as all htc devices have this problem, someone would have already found it by now

well That's what I thought first I'm gonna check that before I go any further but the thing is that phone was plugged in to charger all night and than when I got up I decide I'm gonna turn off the key press sounds after I've locked screen, phone crash and I can't turn it on anymore I think What happened is when it crash I couldn't restart it so I've get the battery out and now it maybe hard bricked so lets say its hard bricked how do I unbrick it any chances to do it at home without jtag or sending phone to service

Please dont use the term soft-bricked it sounds ridiculous. You're device is either "bricked" or it isnt. If you can flash a rom to device to solve an issue you're device is not "bricked".
If it's not turning on with a new battery it sounds like you have a hardware failure so may need a new mobo or JTAG service.
