You should be able to flash an lk8 rom on an ljc. But there are some problems with some partitions, but nothing that can't be fixed, (there's a thread somewhere.)
I've never owned an htc, but I have played around with some, and to me the hboot and everything else was a pain in the butt lol
Have fun with your note...Just not too much fun

Agreed, when I first rooted I had to do the data wipe factory reset.
Everything went well after that.

I cant flash nothing but stock rom

Ok well I rooted and I flashed some roms here and there everything was fine until last night... I was going to flash calklin's 2.5.1 rom... I was in the recovery that uses the "pre wipe for theme" & another option was "pre wipe for rom" it was something like that... So I selected pre wipe for rom then I flashed calklin's 2.5.1... Everything went well until I rebooted.... It stayed at the Samsung galaxy s II screen so I left it for 10min nd nothing happen... So I tryed to nand myself back to life and I couldnt even get to my recovery... So I odin el13 stock rooted then flashed cwm n still the same results... So I odin eg30 stock and the same results, stuck at the samsung galaxy s II screen.... Can some one please help me this is bugging me alot I HATE TOUCH WIZ!!! Im willing to try out any method someone could suggest
Thanks I appreciate the help xda community!!!

So you're stuck at the Samsung Galaxy SII loading screen? Is that right?
If that's so, use this to get back to stock and proceed from there (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1394332)
Yes thats correct, thanks, but I can revert to ANY STOCK ROM!!eg31, eg30, ect... But wen I try to flash another rom weather its calukin.s rom, starburst rom or midnight rom I get stuck at the galaxy s II screen... So I can flash a stock rom!!
I just cant flash A CUSTOM ROM!! Im rooted and everthing on stock I keep trying n nothing happens!

Are you sure that you're rooted? Perhaps you should try again. What method did you use to root the device originally?
Thanks again for your reply... I used the auto root method posted by sfhub... I used his method to root as soon as I got my phone! I hate stock.... Ok so if this helps im on eg30 modem, kernal, rom all is stock!! With root

It sounds like the conflict is somewhere in your /data partition. Have you tried resetting your /data

To make it easier, I suggest using the Calkulin format script found here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1332837)

Whichever one works better for you. There are different customizations for each ROM, but it's up to you to decide which one works better for your needs.

I never have that issue even with dirty flash. Have you tried to wipe system, data, everything? I think you can try to Odin back to stock, then root it and start everything fresh. Sometimes the old files are still left over and mess up your phone.

The sad thing is, that's all I've been doing. Using Odin and keep going back to stock, update to ICS with Kies, and then hope to try and run another version of the ROM, and still no luck. It's quite frustrating. And yeah, I wiped system, data, everything. Did a full on wipe.
Also, has anyone have been getting call issues? Like you sound muzzled to your callers?

Here is solution for your issue:
1. Upgrade recovery, or switch to TWRP.
2. Clean flash rom again.
3. Flash the newest radio UVLI4, or LI1.

DO NOT do that if you are on the latest TWRP or CWM 6.+ cause Darkside super wipe was discontinued. For AOKP and CM 10.1 Nightly I just did a data/partition wipe and flash gapps.

[scripts][Tools] Infamous.Super.Wipe and Infamous.Cache.Wipe for Jelly Bean 4.1.2 TW

Ok guys, these are modded versions of TDJ's tools to add the preload partition. This should allow you to wipe cache and dalvik without jacking up the symlinks. Also for you guys having issues installing a ROM, the superwipe should fix that. First flash the ROM and reboot (important), then if you are having issues flash the super wipe and then the ROM again. Reboot and you should be good.
Thanks again TDJ!!! You rock bro.
Note to other developers: Feel free to link here from your thread, just don't re-upload them please. Thanks

One is cache/dalvik, superwipe is data/factory reset.
Well before using the scripts ROM would not boot but after super wipe no problems, TWRP 2.5.0.0

Yes it does.

I used these scripts installing a ROM and I am having very serious issues. I was using Clockwork and when I rebooted I got stuck in a boot loop. I booted back into recovery but I was not getting fully back into recovery. I tried several times. I finally ODINed back to stock but I can't get the ****ing phone to boot up. It gets toa popup that says ""unfortunatley google partner setup has stopped" and then if I clear that "Google account manager has stopped", "google calender storage has stopped""unfortuantely the process com. android.phone has stopped". ****. I have tried ODIN to 3.5 stock and 4.0.3 both having similar issues.
Anyone have any idea, may have absolutley nothing to do with these scripts but any ideas would be very much appreciated.
What are you running and what are you trying to flash? Wouldn't be the scripts as they only wipe, format, align the partitions.

I was running CWM 6.0.2.9 touch and trying to flash the StockWalk ROM. I don't know if you have seen something like this before but it seems like I am totally unable to install any GAPPS even when flashing stock ROM in ODIN. I had flashed the same ROM before attempting to use the scripts, the reason was that I was unable to add my google account (may be a defect in the ROM but others are saying they have not had issue).
*when I say install GAPPS I am just refering to the ones that install on TW ROMS, I am not flashing a GAPPS file of any kind

OK so I thought I knew enough to not feel like a noob, but here I am with three questions.
First question is what is a "preload problem"?
Second question is this will only work on 4.1.2, and not 4.2.2 (CM 10.1)?
And the third question is will using the original DS wipes mess something up?
T mobiles 4.1.2 loads a preboot partition. Wiping cache with anything but these scripts also wipes these partitions. This script is modified to not do that. No preboot partition = boot loop.
Thus, if you're on anything BUT Tmobiles 4.1.2 you don't need this script and there's no advantage to using it.

Flashing stock would definitely get you out of it.
Simple search for stock rooted Roms will give you what you need.

NP.
You lose custom recovery flashing those files. You retain root though so you can just reflash a recovery and than wipe if you didn't want to wipe through stock recovery.
