You are right. It's the same like "SET CPU".
But there you can choose "Governance Profile."
"Overclock Widget". I think you have better Opportunities,m but no predefined "Gouvernances" as I think.

Sorry I thought that it is overclocking.

The CPU should work at 800MHz, like in other smartphones.
Thanks in advance.

You really ought to go ahead and flash a custom ROM also. I am using Darkside v8. It's really great and very smoot and fast. It is also very stock like up front so you really don't have to set up alot of stuff to get running.
Official CM 10
I would suggest the official cyoagenmod 10 it has a setting to set your processor speed and it gives u detailed instructions.

None that I am aware of. CM came out with a 9.1 yesterday and there is an unofficial CM-10 by Erick Will.

CM9 Overclock
I'm using CM9.1, but in the CPU performance section, the max is 1512, which is just the stock max right? SetCPU has the same max of 1512.
How can I overclock? Thanks

There is an Official CM10, but it is in the alpha stages.
Guys, I just thought of taking a benchmark test to see if it would make any difference now that I am on jellybean now.. I was shocked to see the result-1227! I remember it was definitely better on stock! I am using cm10 and titaniun5kernel. Not overclocked when I did that benchmark, but ocing really made no difference! Can anyone tell me if my cpu is damaged or there's something else I need to do? Herrs a screenshot:
Sent from my One V using xda app-developers app
Also, can someone provide screenshots of their benchmarks? (Running cm10 would be preferred).
Thank you.

Also Titanium kernel has a known issue with I/O values
with Quadrant. They will only be half as the values on other kernels
You can test this when using KISS kernel for CM10

BTW: Just to compare - benchmarks are always a bad way to compare real live "values"
Those are the values that you "can" get in CM9 with 1.5GHz OC
and govener ondemand with KISS kernel
soo here's one at 1.5..if u wna compare
Google is your friend. Please search for a solution before creating help threads. I can assure you there are answers out there.

Before testing any overclocking download cputemp and turn on monitoring in settings. You don't want your tab getting over 100c. Only use a kernel written for your exact model. There are no kernels yet that are bug free and in final release.
I'm thinking of switching from android Oreo to LOS on my Nexus 5X, so what would I need to do to get the most out of my device after the switch?
Now that's the right question buddy, one of the best things is Finding a really good kernel for your device, if NOT you can download Kernel Auditor and control how your CPU/Ram Management/Entropies... You can start by over clocking it up to 1700MHz
Sent from the beige bra section at Target.
You can get rid of Google spyware apps. Flash nanomood patcher and microG instead

You could start by tweaking the CPU section there for performance and low memory killer for battery

Manual tweaks are kinda tricky to go with.. They could make your device real fast or make it worse... I'd recommend starting with the ones already there for a starter
