[Q] Help with a mod for Jelly Bean ROMs?

I'm trying to remove the texting limit for Jelly Bean ROMs (RC9 LiquidSmooth)...and I haven't found a way to be able to remove it before the first boot occurs. (Like being pre-baked into the ROM)
Here's what I'm looking at...any help? Thanks.
(I'm not sure I consider this much of a question, cause I know a bit about it, just require some insight, hence why I'm in general.)

Just a quick browse but looks like you need to edit some files prior to flashing. I'd build then flash and make the mods and then build a ROM from your current ROM and use that to redistribute.
Go into the skyrocket threads ask seanscreamz I think he had an app on his sky jellybean rom called BAMF fix which fixes that texting limit

It worked for me when I activated it and you didnt have to keep rechecking it after every boot.it stuck for me the first time until I crack flashed again

Gpslocationprovider wake lock on even though gps off? On all star liquid v5.5

Hey guys I'm having a problem where the Gpslocationprovider wake lock is constantly on even though the gps option is off. But the location service is on. Is there any solution to this problem? Sorry if this has been asked before but I checked several threads and I didn't find any solution to the problem..

I get this problem occasionally too. It's the maps application acting up. For me I go into settings then apps then maps. Then force close, wipe data, and reboot.

U either debloated too much or when I set location access to enabled for Google apps u left "Wireless Networks" checked. Disable that and see how it goes

I disabled location access entirely as well as syncs but it still goes on with wakelocks. Strange, since I never had this problem before. I stopped maps and cleared data&cache, will see if that fixes it.
apparently it may be an issue with the new gapps maps app. update us with any info
yoft1's technique worked for me.

For me it worked like this:
1. Location services off under system setings.
2. Google setings ( find this in app drawer) location setrvice off.
3. Google now off ( you find this also in google settings).
Hope it works for you.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you use titanium backup you can pm me your email an I can make a back up send it to you an then you install my back up via titanium back. I have done this many times to my wife's phone. It sticks after reboot

Download that an open titanium backup hit menu button top right. Then import backup select app&data. Never hurts to make backup first just to be safe

[Q] Need Help

I rooted my g pro installed cmw and use a cm nightly now I cant hear calls, ican call out and receive them but no sound at all my date works everthing else but this plz any help here don't know what is the cause. when I go back to the custom rom it works just fine
First of all wrong section. Post all Questions in Q&A. Second do some research man. If you are on Tmo this is a known problem with a solution. You need to flash the Audio fix in the Original dev section. If you are on AT&T look further
