[Q] help with firmware please!!

can somebody please help...
I tried to install new firmware through odin but now i cant start my phone or go to recovery
when i turn it on it just shows this text:
Image size too large ! ! W:1080, H:1920
display image fail
SECURE FAIL: Kernel

Hi i have the same problem. I update tu a official firmware and now i got that message....

Hi, well after trying many things, i Flash this firmware I9195XXUBMJ7_I9195OXABMJ7_I9195XXUBMJ7_HOME.tar.md5 and my phone starts again with the stock Firmware... I hope this helps for you

Just happened to me too. Only happens if you try downgrading from MJ7 FW

I have the same problem with a GT-I9190... Anything I can do?

Ok so now i have a problem. I flashed Australian MJ7 firmware with MJ1 bootloader but now UK has released MJ7 with MK1 bootloader and i can't flash it as it fails on EXT4 image on Odin. Am i officially stuck with Aus fw from now on?

Please help me! I have the same problem, I tried to reflash stock and then this message appear:

I can't do anything, my phone won't even boot, all i can see is that message when i turn it on and enter download mode, that's all, no recovery no system, please what can I do??? I have a very expensive paperweight right now....

[HOW-TO][OUTDATED]Android 6.0.1 working on SM-G928F!

NO NEED FOR THIS ANYMORE!
Hi everyone!
First of all, I don't figured out how this works, it was @adoe !
All credits go to him!
Here comes a little guide on how to flash Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on
SM-G928F
It's confirmed working by myself!
NOTE: I don't know if it triggers the knox counter, as my is already triggered before!
If anyone is brave enough to flash without knowing or doesn't care if it triggers the knox counter, please let me know if it triggered!
Knox counter confirmed to stay on 0x0
1. Download official SM-G928C Android 6.0.1 firmware from Sammobile or another source you probably know.
2. Download .pit file from attachments below. Thanks to @adoe for this file
3. In Odin choose the firmware for SM-G928C as AP (former PDA) and choose ZENLTE_EUR_OPEN_HIDDEN250M.zip as Pit. (NOTE: USE THIS PIT FILE ONLY ON SM-G928F! OTHERWISE YOU WILL HARDBRICK YOUR DEVICE!)
4. Make sure Re-Partition is enabled!
5. Make sure Nand Erase All is enabled!
6. Flash!
7. Let's eat Marshmallows!
8. (optional) For root and deep sleep fix install THIS (thanks to @Chainfire) via Odin as PDA
Screenshots on how to set Odin as well as the Odin version that I use in attachments!

Every firmware has a own pit file in it. When you flash G928F firmware it will flash it's device specific pit file, wenn you fash G928C firmware it will flash it's device specific pit file, too.
For this, you give odin the device specific pit file for G928F, so that it will work.
When you want to go back on G928F firmware (obviously when official MM firmware comes out) you need no pit file as it's already included in the firmware.

Would this work with K or L firmware?

Im simple flashad the offical 928c rom to my 928f whitout the pit file and no problems

Apparently not, due to Baseband's. Especially not K.

Haha it's funny that I have a G928C now.
The only thing that hints my G928F is the baseband
BTW: like the new screenshot function to shot all scrollable content of current screen.

A member on another thread reported that he stuck on samsung splash screen with knox triggered 0x1.
If it' works for you, fine. Otherwise you will end up not booting.

Most probably not, as carrier specific devices most have different hardware.

Hello guys,
I bought J7 pro J730F from UAE.. now I'm in India so i need VoLTE.. but i can't find Working VoLTE firmware for J730F.. but J730GM has Indian firmware but i unable to flash on my J730F..

Changing csc may need root so waranty is a bit.but we will try this first so you can avoid warranty bit..send me the csc file that you downloaded..i will try to modified to flash it.

My mobile is J730F(UAE).. i upload a CSC for J730GM(India).. please help me to work volte... Im ready to root also... Any root process procedure pls

Bro im unable to upload csc.. bcoz its size.. 121 mb

Yeaaaahhhh... I done that... I use odin... BL and CP i use J730F firmware files.. AP and CSC i use j730GM firmware files.. after i flashed just done a factory reset then BOOOOMMMM.... VoLTE working!!!!! All the indian feature works... My mobile model changed from J730F to J730GM....
Thanks bro for ur support... Can u pls give a root and twrp flaahing guide.. and also Lineage OS or any official custom os suggestions pls...

I am having the same situation as yours , i have a samsung J7 Pro bought from UAE with J730F firmware. When i try to flash it with the J730GM , i am getting the secure check fail error. I'm fairly new to the flashing process and all that and understood that we have to use J730F's BL AND CP and J730GM's AP and CSC. Not really sure where to and how to get the pit file. When i extract the firmware files , i just get AP, BL , CP , CSC and HOME_CSC. Can you help me in solving the issue ?

Ok i'll explain bro.. CSC have a inbuilt PIT file... But HOME CSC is without PIT file... So u have to open CSC file of J730F with the help of WinRar.. then only u get a PIT file of J730F... And the u extract that and insert that PIT file in Odin PIT tab...

U can dwnld from www.sammobile.com
In j730F, dwnld UAE firmware.. and In j730GM, dwnld indian version

Its faster to use samfirm exe. https://www.google.ro/amp/s/forum.x...l/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647/amp/
You must fill the type of your phone, the country (if you dont know thw abreviation you could find on sammobile.com). After chek manual and wait for your firmware.

Dude, I have tried with patched odin earlier, but failed. Maybe have to check other settings.

Thanks for all for helping me out, with patch Odin3 v3.14.1_3B_PatcheD, i was able to flash my phone to U1 XAA and now i can update firmware over wifi. Thanks a lot.
