Hi I'm currently running was is effectively a Nexus rom on my Xperia S. I was wondering what kind of mods etc you guys have which would be usable still? I.e the tab grid toggles mod works so i can re order and add torch etc.
I've also seen the usable apps in lock screen thread.
Is there any others that may be of use?

Hey guys,
is there a way to get the original android lockscreen instead of the stock samsung one?
On the htc devices it was possible with simply deleting a system file, is there a similar way on the sgs2?

PS: WidgetLocker is no solution for me because of problems with noled and power amp.
i'm interested too about aosp lockscreen for sgs2
I used widgetlocker but seems to affect my battery life. I would like the stock lockscreen.

@_JKay_ is working on it at the moment and if he fails we might have to bring in @dhiru from sgs forum to help out cause he is the one that first ported our lockscreen to sgs and he knows the most about it and why simple mod instructions from sgs do not apply here.

I have recently migrated from Galaxy S (CM9-->CM10) to Galaxy Nexus (on stock Jellybean but rooted) . I am badly missing a couple of useful features in stock rom :-
1) T9 dialer : If I extract phone.apk from CM 10 and install it on stock jellybean, will it work ? I am currently using exDialer
2) toggles buttons on top of notification area. CM10 had excellent mechanism to define and order toggle buttons(wifi, bt, gps etc) . Stock rom does not even offer such toggle buttons. Is there way to extract these from CM 10 ? I am currently using notification toggle app.

1. I don't think that would work on a stock (odexed) rom. On custom roms, using a cm10 contacts.apk (where the dialer is) seems to be hit or miss
2. There are many apps to accomplish this. (Notification widget or Power controls to name a few.

Hi,
I recently installed cm10 with Gapps. I cant seem to find the stock jelly bean digital clock widget any ideas on where to get nice clock widgets? Also stock samsung s3 has swiping type movement you could do on the keyboard i could not find where to enable this on cm10? also what widgets are you guys using to display your full calendar? and is there any way on the drawer when you swipe down from the top that you can add more options instead of the 4 already there?

Hi guys i saw this awesome jellybean features on LG nexus 4 from the original jellybean messaging where a notification pop ups directly on a lockscreen and the on and off lockscreen animation plus the original notification sound with it. I thought if some developer here could take a look in it make it possible to port the same original apk files for our device especially for our xperia ion's would be totally great..

The lockscreen stuff cant be ported to Xperia firmware because it is integrated into the framework. It could probably be ported to a cm10 version that runs on ion though.

First i wold like to thank everyone for amazing job with legacy devices.
I'm using Stevan Dj UltraKat 1.3.9 ROM and my Arc S is really flying, i was wondering if there is any way to use 5X4 Home screen instead of 4X4 Home screen as i have OSB disabled, there seem to be enough space to do accomplish that, but i just don't know how.

Use another launcher like "nova"
