(solved) Lost IMEI after flashing ViperX - HTC One X

Hi together,
yesterday I have unlocked my bootloader throug htcdev. Every thing went well, flashed recovery (twrp) and made a nandroid backup from twrp.
After that I have flashed the newes version form the ([ROM] 07/02 Team Venom ViperX 3.3.5...) Thread.
Everything went fine, it booted, started but there is no pin dialog and no wlan network. In the settings it says imei unknown.
I have read here throug the forum and some suggest flash RUU.exe for my carrier again.
The problem is, I am on JB and all RUUs are ICS.
I am on T-Mobile Germany branded phone.
I have tried to flash RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_TMO_DE_1.29.111.11_Radio_1.1204.105.14_release_260730_signed.exe but it is not working, because my hboot is higher.
After all I flashed my nandroid backup. But the IMEI is missing there also. Until I have flashed viperx everything was fine.
Is there a way to restore the imei? Where can I get a jelly bean RUU.exe?
Thank you for your help, i appreciate it.

Re: (help) Lost IMEI after flashing ViperX
Make sure when you install the viper rom that you answer the kernel question with NO, if you answer with yes the proper modules will not be loaded into the system and you can get strange things. Like no service or data connection.

I have redownloaded the viper rom, checked md5 and reflashed.
The radio and imei is back.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S II X T989D - Lost IMEI

Hey everybody, my supervisor was installing a custom ROM (IIRC cyanogenmod) when something happend and he lost his IMEI and IMEI SV number making the phone unsuable.
I believe he didn't backup the EFS folder and lost the contents which included the IMEI.
Is there any way I can fix this phone and get it back up and running?
I've found another thread which refered to re-programming the IMEI with some expensive device.

U could JTAG it, or try hemidell, u might be able to rewrite a new imei number, if not idk, how did he lose that? Flashing a ROM shouldn't have erased his imei ?

Thanks guys for the response.
What he flashed to/what he did etc...I have no idea. I have the phone with me and I'm trying to start fresh and get it to work. I have no idea what he did so I'm just trying to start at the begining and learn myself to see if I can correct the problem.
All I know is that when I check the IMEI on the phone info, it says 0 and IMEI SV says 0 also
so there is successfully a ROM installed right now correct ? go into about phone and check what it is running and what kernel what baseband the whole nine bro gimme something else to work with other than being blind trying to help bro lol . are you familiar with any rooting or odin flashing at all ?

It currently has a ROM installed, the phone functions but has no IMEI at all listed in the ABOUT PHONE section. I will get that info later today after work, thank you very much!
I myself have a Galaxy Nexus which I flashed from ICS to Jelly bean and used the ICS radio file rather then the JB one. I can follow instructions but I am new to android. I'm a Blackberry guy from the past and work with blackberries in a corporate enviroment
lol i know it has a ROM installed but when you go into about phone it tells you what your running ?? and no problem man
Honestly, the only way I could think of where he lost the IMEI of the device is if a nandroid backup was created lacking the EFS partition and was restored or the ROM didn't create an EFS while flashing. I've heard of some ROMs, mere flashing of updates or a clean install, mess with the radio/baseband and leave the phone without one, rendering it unusable when it comes to connecting to a cellular network until you flash a radio but not something like this where the IMEI is borked and lost.

check if your IMEI no is correct. if it begins with 00 it means efs has changed. u need to restore it from ur backup. guides how to do it are available in the forum.

If you use the search feature and tap in "lost imei" all your questions will have answers. It looks like you have an n7100. And by the look of things you were on mc3 4.1.2 and flashed an older rom of 4.1.1 I dont think you can do that..

for that u will need to flash stock rom via odin. do not panic. this thing has become very common now. search in android development section of note 2.guides are available todouble bled it ok. just do not panic.read the guides carefully and double check what u r doing.
I had a problem like this except it happened when I flashed a rom. The rom corrupted my SD Card so I lost my backup and even after flashing stock it did not work. Eventually I sent it in to Samsung. Now I have learnt my lesson to keep a backup on multiple locations

It is because of downgrade of your rom.
Some time downgrade results in conflict modem and efs data corruptions.
It recommend to immediate take a backup of efs files after root.
Now do fiollowing steps
1. flash DMC3 full rom( Not only modem).
2. Wipe data and cache.
3. Wipe dalvike cache.
4. Reboot device.
It may solve your problem.

DMC3 also older rom for countries mentioned above.
Flash mg1 or simply look N7100 all in one on my signature, look post #6 and download modem for mg1 (it will have kernel, recovery and modem) you need modem only for network issue but I recommend to flash all three as your current rom I think not sds patched.

Unknown IMEI when flashing anything but stock?!

I got this phone the other day. It was completely stock ICS official so I Installed CWM on it and flashed LiteROM and LiteKernel and I get unknown IMEI or baseband. I went to the effort to completely flash it back to stock and it's fine and I have an IMEI/Baseband and the Network works just fine. I reinstalled CWM and flashed a Stock Rooted ROM and my network works fine too but as soon as I flash LiteKernel or LiteROM (Or any other ROM) I get Unknown IMEI and Baseband and I can't use my network. What's up with this? Any ideas guys? Really want Voodoo audio :c
It's exactly like this guys problem but he never found a solution...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2220181
Oh also I SIM unlocked it with an unlock code from Cellunlocker.net when I first got it when it was still on stock ICS.
Just found an 11-page thread on this exact issue.

[CRITICAL] Unable to reinstall official ROM 'cause it changes IMEI

Hi guys,
here's y problem. My phone runs Cyanogen since I got it but I wish to sell it now. For that I have to put it back on an official ROM. When I try to do it through Odin (with Officials ROM from Sam Mobile) it breaks my phone. I mean that I don't have network anymore, just "Only emergency calls". I noticed that my IMEI was changed each time I flash an official ROM with Odin. I foudn out how to solve the problem (by flashing an old modem through CWM) but then my ROM's modified and I can't, for example, search for an update 'cause it says I modified the software.
I'm looking for a way to have back an official ROM without have a wrong IMEI after the Odin flash.
Thanks.
Try to flash the stock rom via odin and restore efs backup.
Hope this helps.

Backing up and restoring is Done by Cwm, and DittoNote3 for GT-N7105 is really good, give it a try and don't forget to flash the mj5 bootloader for the wifi to work.

Ok so you download DittoNote3 for GT-N7105 and Mj5 boot loader, flash the rom using custom recovery and see if the wifi works, and if it doesn't work (most likely) just flash the Mj5 bootloader through odin, then if you wanna flash a kernel, download the desired one and flash it using custom recovery, before doing all those stuff, make sure that you backed up your efs and your custom recovery back up.
