Sounds like your profile or maybe a local profile. When it says no contact hit menu and it should bring up options.

Hi All,
Under a profile's Privacy Policy, the defaults are "Everyone" for the various items such as "Contact Info"
I would like to be able to select "No One." Please consider adding the option for non-sharing (its not really privacy if I have to select who to allow - that makes it a sharing policy).

OK, thanks.
I've seen posts moved in the past. Will a moderator move it? I don't see an option to move messages. Or do I delete it (and the thread) and repost it?

My bad. Apparently I cannot post there either. It looks like a moderator will have to move it.

You should be able to post there, I have seen other new users post there.
So there is still no feature to search through contacts? Most sms apps let you click something to bring up your contacts and you can 'check the box' next to their names. This even works well if you might be forgetting someone to add to a multi-contact message.
As of now the only way I can add a contact is by typing their name...

Individual apps override the settings. Check the app making the sound.

Damn, that is strange. Have you tried a factory data reset or Odining the stock image in to see if that resets it?
Under Call Settings | Voicemail, Voicemail settings is greyed out.
Has anyone found a way to get it enabled on a rooted device?
I'm guessing a simple tweak/edit would work, but so far, I'm stumped.

Apologies, I made an error. I thought it was a general topic.
I have found that if I rename:
/system/csc/feature.xml to /system/csc/feature.BAK
/system/csc/others.xml to /system/csc/others.BAK
/system/csc/customer.xml to /system/csc/customer.BAK
then I am able to have a lot of the defaults settings for the SGS4 without carrier restrictions.

Hello, on my phone contact list, how come some names have multiple entries? What is the best way to resolve this issue? Thanks.

Go into the settings in your phone and ensure that you are syncing your contacts with Google. Once you've done that, log onto your Google Voice account on a computer. Click contacts and in the drop down box above the actual contacts list, select "merge contacts". You will be presented with a pop-up that shows all the contacts it will merge.
