[Q] Need Help!!! - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I was originally runny canogenmod 10.1 and decided to flash jellybam 5.2.0 with TWRP I flashed dalvik and reset factory settings but when I jellybam started booting up for the first time the screen keeps flashing white every second with the jellybam loading screen. Now I tried to go back to TWRP but the battery low icon comes up rather than the TWRP screen but when i try to turn the phone on normally it just goes to the jellybam loading screen. Whenever I plug my phone into my computer the light goes green but when I plug it into my charger nothing. Is this some sort of brick or are there any suggestions? I'd greatly appreciate any help, I'm kinda new to all of this.
[Update]
I've gotten to TWRP but don't know if I should retry to install Jellybam or ReInstall Cyanogen, unfortunately I don't have a backup saved -___-

In TWRP, wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache/dalvik, then re-install CM10.1. If that does not fix your issue, then download a stock ODIN file and start over. You would have to flash it using ODIN on your computer.

Don't bother with a flash count reset rom if you're having issues, just flash the LJ7 JB rom.

Don't forget to flash the latest gapps after the ROM.

[Q] Help! flashed cyanogenmod, bootlooping

okay, i was trying to root and flash cyanogenmod9 on to my friends s2. i personally have a droid x, that has been flashed a billion times, so i had a good idea of what to do. i rooted his phone using odin to flash clockwork, then flashed superuser in clockwork. after confirming i had root i booted into clockwork, and wiped cache and data. then flashed the hercules.zip and gapps. here's where things get tricky. his power button is broken and everytime i tried to reboot it couldn't because the power button was constantly pressed. eventually he got it to boot, but it never booted up completely, it just stayed on the boot animation. my question is did i do something wrong? do you guys thinks its because of the button since it couldn't have a fresh boot up. should i try flashing another rom to see if that works? any ideas?
I ran across this problem when I was flashing a Jellybean version of Cyanogenmod. If you flashed it on a NON-TOUCH recovery it will most likely boot loop like mine did. I installed a touch recovery and flashed and BANG. I had had Cyanogenmod. Hope this helped
This was my fix...

If it is the CM9 bootloop issue (where it hangs at the little blue dude) check out this page (sorry it won't let me insert a link because I'm a new user lol):

I couldn't get it to work until I followed this method, likely the use of Darkside Super Wipe and Darkside Cache Wipe was what fixed it. Hope this helps.
OOOhhh this happened to me when i first rooted my phone LOOOL......this is what u do....
if you are on cwm 5.0.2.7 or lower...u need to use darkside super wipe then flash the rom
i did the darkside wipe and it booted up fine. thanks a lot guys!
if cant be fixed flash stock. it happened to me once too. i think it was because i flashed the wrong radio

[Q] Stuck in Samsung Starting Screen

A few weeks ago I installed a blackjelly rom on my telus s3, and then proceeded to install codenameandroid. It worked great for a while but then I decided to see if I could unroot my phone and install stock rom. I did this using Odin and it worked great as well with no issues. My problem now is I am trying to install roms again and whenever I do so, after the installation and reboot I get stuck in the Samsung Galaxy loading screen. I have left it there for 5 minutes with no change. I even tried flashing the blackjelly rom the same way I did the first and nothing is changing. Lastly, when I try to flash Hellfire, i always get the message status 7. I have wiped everything, formated /system, and wiped all caches. Any suggestions?
-I am using latest CWM.
-It is rooted with superuser
All help will be appreciated.
if stuck at the samsung screen, pull battery, reboot recovery, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, maybe even fix permissions, reboot

Stuck at Samsung logo?

Ok so I went back to stock after CM9, all went fine, phone rebooted and does the animation and sound but it won't go any further, I tried getting into the recovery screen but goes as far the little android guy and then reboots. Any ideas?
Reflashed Euro stock and again stuck at boot animation, I can't get into recovery to wipe or anything as it won't go past the little Android guy and reboots any ideas? On my SGS2 what I would of done at this stage is go into recovery and reset all, but can;t do this, gonna try flashing CWM to see if this helps, stock recovery seems fooked.
flash
Hi! You have to flash your phone stock ROM. And then again try to flash the MOD

Have you checked the zip file you downloaded is corrupt or not?
There is a difference 1mb will cause bootlop on your device.

Ok, recorrect.
I missread.
Have u got an SD card?
Just put a new stable ROM in it.
And befoure installing the new ROM wipe factory settings, cache, dalvik cache.
And make sure it is wiped, then install the new one.
Because it might save some setting from that ROM, and they might be corrupted, so it's recommended to wipe those befoure ROM installing, and after, when the ROM is installed already.
And if you can't get into recovery mode, then ur phone might be bricked.
No idea, how to solve that.
Haven't experienced that at all.

If you can go into Download Mode, you can try using Odin to fix things up. Otherwise, your phone is hard-bricked, and only SSC can help.

Hi!
Try to remove the external sd card!!
My phone had a bootloop like this on every custom rom,(also stock rom but with wipe i had resolved).
So try to remove the sd card!

-----------/!\ Need help!! Potentially bricked------

I flashed the ATT MIUI rom onto my tmobile note 2, all was working fine, than i tried to install rom manager, it installed and miui warned me about root so i enabled it in permission manager but it wouldnt work and it went into a force close loop "permission manager has stopped working" every 5 seconds. Restarted the phone and it went away, then i went into recovery, wiped cache, dalvik cache, and flashed GAPPS. They installed just fine, then i rebooted and was stuck on the MI logo for 5 minutes, i rebooted back into CWM and tried to wipe DATA/FACTORY RESET , this is where the problem is when i pressed "yes" it turns the phone off and reboots, it doesnt wipe the data , i tried going into mounts and storage and wiping system there, that works but when i tried to wipe data it reboots so im assuming the problem has to do with wiping the data. After wiping system, cache, dalvik cache i tried to go back to jedi x7 and it flashes but once it gets to the boot screen it turns off and restarts. now i just took the battery out and hoping someone can help me
EDIT - FIXED
Read the thread i posted updates of what I did to fix it
50 views / no help? come on anybody give your suggestions please :crying:
A shot in the dark here....
Get the flashable TWRP 2.3.2.3 and copy it on your external SD.
Go into recovery and flash it and then try to flash the Rom with TWRP.
I hope this helps you.
If twrp doesn't work.
I suggest you use odin to flash stock rom
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda app-developers app
i used odin to flash to stock everything passes its on the boot screen right now on the samsung logo with the blue glow behind it

pulled the battery out at 2:20 and rebooted and its still on the samsung logo , it passes the tmobile logo and it gets stuck on the samsung logo after it and doesnt do anything it just sits there

first thing you would always do in a situation like that is odin a stock image. glad you got it fixed.

I flashed a rom and now my phone is just rebooting

I rooted my phone, downloaded the jedi mind trick rom and attempted to flash it. I deleted and format my phone in CWM and i installed the rom from an internal sdcard. Now it keeps resetting and wont turn on. What should I do now?
Have you tried jamison's cache wipe?
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Im downloading the stock telus rom in an attempt just to start from the beginning. When I flash it I'll get back to you. I was rushing when I rooted it the first time I guess.
Okay so I've done that and have rooted it using the s2 toolkit. what steps should I take to ensure the jedi mind trick rom can be successfully flashed?
Okay I tried reflashing it again... Didn't work, I have the same problem. I did the factory settings, and wiped the cache and flashed the rom. I then went into advanced and cleared the Devac (sp) cache and fixed permissions. I rebooted and it didn't work. It starts, gets to about the loading circle graphic and just resets
I used Darkside super wipe and it worked for me...
ive done it like this.
flashed original stock rom via odin
Root via S2 toolkit
flash cmw with toolkit as above
and flash custom rom via s2 toolkit
and after that used darkside superwipe
thanks for the tip, I tried the darkside wipe but it still is happening.
I have the same exact thing. But for me it's different. It started with the PACman 22.0.1. Whenever I press the power button to turn on/off the screen, it would restart a couple of seconds later being stuck in an infinite reboot loop. Can't get into recovery mode (used TWRP 2.3.3.1 and 2.5). I somehow managed to revert back to stock which worked properly. Rooted and installed PACman 22.1.1 ROM and it's still stuck on a reboot loop.
I don't know if it's a hardware problem (wiring off power button to the circuit is damaged) or a software code that messed up the machine code in the circuit.
i had the same when i installed wrong kernel and radio...try it like this..instal stock
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1513359
and then try cwm recovery version from the s2 toolkit (try non touch ver.)
and then try flashing
try doing a factory reset, wipe cache and install rom. don't wipe cache or anything after that until after it boots. btw don't use cwm wipe cache, try the one that is stickied in development forum.
