I tried three diferent i317M stock roms Telcel the most recent (I317MUMBMB1), Rogers and Telus (I317MVLBMA3), and none of them let me pass ODIN, always happends a FAILURE. the only ones that passes without any problem are the AT&T ones, maybe the boatloader is locked but is rare because it let me install custom roms via TWRP, so what´s the problem???

Ok thanks.
In the meantime - you can backup your phone and flash T-mobile, if u know what u r doing.
Modem won't work. Bootloaders too.
Kernel and apps should work. So if u can cook up CWM package just for these 2....
Well in this case if i do flash it with odin then i do flash the at&t or bell modem should this work?

don't mess with the Zohan
don't mess with Odin. It's a sure way to brick your phone.
Team insomnia has a jb leak for our i747, some of the tmo roms work perfectly for us, as well as the kernels. Just back up prior to flashing anything

Hi,
After my awesome purchase of the note 2, my dad got one as well.
However, he is very disappointed with the lack of Chinese support menus.
Anyone out there with an solution?
Thanks

BUMP!
I flashed the International 4.12 firmware. Saw these options in language. My zhongwen isn't perfect so I didn't try it, but it should work

N7150. It will not brick you. Just root and flash via twrp. Only wipe div cache and cache. Do not factory reset. You should get the latest firmware with chinese.
Look in our dev section for 7150 international odexed.

I did a nandroid back up and flashed a t-mobile rom and it worked. I didn't get to see if everything worked on the rom because I restored my nandroid before I got to test it.

Yeah. We can flash M919 and i9505 roms on our M919V variant GS4s.

You can flash other roms on both versions M919V and M919. Just use your kernel for YOUR device.
Time to update my guide.

yes, after you flash the stock rom, before you boot make sure you use the KERNEL provided for your device.
It will work.

I have downloaded the T-Mobile Rom. I need as well the kernel for my device ? where can i get the T-Mobile kernel ? What if i want to switch back to M919V kernel where can i find that one ? After i flash the t-mobile rom+kernel , i should be able to flash the T-Mobile Roms ( wicked, infamous etc.) ?
Thanks for your help.
I have a question regarding my SGH-M919V as well. After I upgraded to 5.0.1 I haven't been able to turn on my WiFi or Bluetooth. I'm brand new to rooting and flashing and am just starting to understand the difference between bootloaders and modems and roms and all that. Well, my question is how can I fix my WiFi? I've read a ton of forums where people have similar issues and there are fixes, but often for the american Galaxy S4 (as far as I understand it). Should I downgrade to 4.2.2 to fix WiFi? Is there a kernel I can install that will fix it?
Thanks in advance, I appreciate anyone who respond's patience,
D
Based on my research, that's a Canadian S4. They're intended for a subset of Canadian mobile providers: in this case, Wind, Mobilicity, Videotron, and Eastlink. There is also an SGH-I337M (this time a variant on the AT&T version) intended for use with Rogers, Telus, and Bell.
I bought my note 2 from mobilicity unlocked and im curently using bell sim card. Would I used flash tmobile rom?

Wait, do not flash any t-mobile (SGH-T889) ROM's you may mess your IMEI.
On your phone go to About Device and check the model number.
Most likely it should be SGH-T889V but please confirm.

Yep. Mine is sgh-t889v. Before the current bell sim card, I was using it under mobilicity
Do not flash ROM's meant for sgh-t889.
I know there is a thread in general section for sgh-t889 and you can get more information there.

Is sgh-t889 the same as sgh-t889v?
I have sgh-t889v, can I flash this?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565259
No sgh-t889 and sgh-t889v are two different phones, you can flash the rom only if the modem is not included.

ROMs are interchangable between teh 9505 and the 919
I wouldn't ever flash radios or other firmware made for another device though. Many very bad things could happen. You could PROBABLY Odin them back to normal....but it's not a guarentee.
