Kalagas Mixed Theme

Hi everybody,
UPDATE
I have been using the theme for the while and I love it. I made few minor changes to the theme:
- battery icon replaced with gauge
- changed reboot icon
- changed keypad icons in phone and contacts apks.
With a kind permission from Kalagas, I offer my modified theme based on his newest version 6.2 mixed theme for download. Screenshots are under original screenshots from Kalagas theme. The changes are minor and all credit still goes to Kalagas who spent countless hours creating those icons. If you like the theme, please support his development effort by contributing.

It is presented in I9300 forum as a flash-able zip file, so I guess that many people are afraid to use it, because they think it would brick their device. It is not true for this theme. It is done in such way, that it just replaces resources in your binaries, doesn't replace actual apk and jar files and also crates a backup of original files, in a case you want to roll it back. I really like the theme, so I wanted to share my experience with others, allowing more people to enjoy it.

I only tested full Kalagas Mixed Theme v5.0. I currently run WanamLite ROM on my SGH-I747M Samsung Galaxy S3 with Rogers.
Here is a standard disclaimer. Although I tested the theme, I'm not responsible for any damage to your device by using this theme. Backup your phone before applying the theme.
If you like the theme, give the developer some donation, so he can continue his development effort.

Very Nice theme works well on my AT&T 747 with a stock rooted ROM, thank you for your work.

Do you have a problem with the battery icon not updating? My phone stayed at 71% battery for about twelve hours.

Battery is updated with 1% increments. i am using it fir a week and no issues

Nice. Installed over KyanRom. Looks great. Needed a change from the stock he uses. Works perfect.
Edit. Battery stuck at 100% after charging. Damn. Too bad. Nice theme.

Thanks for the post robsonr. Battery wouldn't move with KyanRom. Switched to Wanam and like you said it works perfectly. Thanks man.

It must be deodexed. I believe that odexed ROM cannot be themed.

Sure it can if it is made for it. I have not yet flashed any new ROM du to Samsung got it pretty right this time and only frozen all the bloat and also because of the IMEI issue of not being able to back it up (recently fixed) so yes it works on rooted stock and works beautiful to.

... and your stock is just rooted, but not deodexed? interesting ... i though that deodexing is a prerequisite for theming.

It is just "harder" there was some discussion awhile back on galaxy s2 I believe. There is online kitchen uot I believe. Can't look up the link right now driving.

Have you tried to reboot?
There is a small difference in the built in battery reader and the modded.

I did reboot but didn't give it time ...I will retry it

That's normal cause your rom probably is Stock or it doesn't support 1%battery step... My theme is build for 1%battery step...

I'm guessing by your reply that your not interested in what the man has put on the table? He's not looking for a theme if I read it correctly he's looking to pay someone or find somebody that will help him achieve a specific theme for TW. I could be wrong.

Probably not wrong. I'm in a similar situation. I'm running wildchild's xquizit xd rom (touchwiz based with mods) with some theme options in the kitchen. I really want a full theme but there is not any that I could find. I am working on my own but have never done it before so getting over a learning curve. But as soon as i do, i'd be happy to share.

I too am willing to pay if someone can fully port the purple kush cm10 theme to wicked_v6.
Even better if someone could make a theme engine for TW ICS ROM's like the one for CM9/CM10. So you flash different themes like mixer, kiwi cobalt, purple kush...etc

The theme works on our phone... but only on aosp ROMs. He wants the aosp theme on his tw ROM

Lmao omg.. My request is for that theme..... Purple kush was my idea that I paid dustinb17 for back on my galaxy nexus..... Dustin couldn't successfully port it to tw being that he doesn't have the phone..... Soo here's my request

Exactly how I feel, I tried to learn how to theme but just don't have the time. For something that extensive I learn better hands on with someone doing it and explaining while I watch and learn. Quite frankly I feel stupid that I can't get it..
The funny thing is I like the theme so much that i'm on Liquidsmooth( AOSP that I like best ) just so I can use the theme...lol:laugh:

No... thank u for the request. I hope it can be done, but don't have too high of hopes. I've never seen a TW or Sense (HTC) ROM run an aosp theme. Maybe it can be done and people just don't desire it, and that's y I haven't seen it. I would love the cobalt blue or crimson red myself as well so I will be watching this thread to follow the progress

I've seen tw roms with an aosp look.. Just not themed.... Im sure any good themer will be able to do it.... I got a hundo to whoever can get this done

Working on frostyJB latest too! thanks Op! One little thing fyi the silent/vibrate icon in the status bar isn't the same tone of blue as the other icons maybe u wanna check that out.. Aside from that it's awesome and super clean!

IF USING WITH ANY ROM THAT USED 3MINIT FRAMEWORK THEN MAKE SURE AND AFTER FLASHING OF THE THEME GO INTO 3MINIT SETTINGS AND CHANGE THE COLOR OF THE TOGGLES AS WELL AS THE PULLDOWN BAR TO WHITE TO DISPLAY THE THEME AS IT WAS MEANT. ALSO IF FLASHING ON ANY ROM USING 3MINIT FRAMEWORK THE TOGGLE BACKGROUND WILL NOT BE THEMED! NOT TO FEAR IN POST#2 I WILL ADD A PNG IMAGE OF THE TOGGLE BACKGROUND. JUST CLICK THE IMAGE AND SAVE TO YOUR DEVICE AND APPLY IN 3MINIT SETTINGS. THE ONLY ROM IN WHICH I DON'T THINK IT WILL WORK WITH AT THIS TIME IS DARTSTALKER. IF PEOPLE COULD PLEASE POST WHICH ROM THEY FLASHED ON SO I AND EVERYONE KNOWS WHICH WILL WORK AND WHICH WILL NOT IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
FLASH IN RECOVERY. MAKE SURE THAT IT IS FLASHED ON A CLEAN ROM MEANING THAT THERE ARE NO OTHER THEMES FLASHED THAT MIGHT INTERFEAR WITH IT RUNNING CORRECTLY. WIPING IS NOT REQUIRED BUT IT DOESNT HURT!

Thank you im glad you like it. Make sure and check back for addons and updates. Later this afternoon I will be updating with tw launcher, and multi window themed and also post a bad ass status bar that im working on. And as far as the tmobile goes if you have 3minit settings you can remove it but other then that I wouldnt know how to do that but ill check into it.

Ok everything themed great but once again wifi calling not working on immoral or stellar the one u sent me before worked but not everything was themed this one is good just no wifi calling went back to other one u gave me with wifi calling just need keyboatd its still white

This looks really great but I have a few things different..I did a total clean install of Wicked but I dont have the Steller boot up screen (screenshot number one), the pie-like control on my home screen or the Steller search rectangle,no solar flare on the 8 button of my dial pad, and my keyboard is transparent and not white (cant see it) Am I just missing a step or something or maybe i should redownload or do I have everything I should? Strange I just flashed the immoral for ur international and that works better for me got wifi calling again everything themed and the tmobile version has no wifi calling lol o well least I got it only problem is incall dialer is white but the regular dialer is correctly themed

Ya as long as you had wicked flashed with that white theme prior to flashing my international variant theme you will be good to go minus the in call dialer inverted which really isn't a big deal at all

Weird... try flashing wicked and pick the white theme in aroma and then flash my tmobile variant theme
