Once you open the updater select a category, then select the mod or item you want to download, then at the bottom of the screen will be a download now button. Pressing the download now starts the download. Hope this helps.

After downloading you may have to boot to recovery and flash the zip you downloaded.

SPRINT GS3 FAQ

Here's 2 options that you may or may not like, but how about open the kuban updater app and down at the bottom select the downloaded icon, it has an arrow pointing down, select the mod you want and select install mod....option 2 select the gears icon from the far left bottom and change the download folder to whatever you want and then download your mod and see if it shows in that folder....
Also if you have installed a aosp/cm10 like rom for some reason it creates a folder named 0....so try to open the 0 folder and see if you can access the kuban downloads folder from there in recovery....hope this helps...

Make sure you haven't actually hit the 0 folder. I did, and wouldn't see anything in kubandownloads folder. Once I backed up a level it was all there. Also if you would use TWRP 2.3.1 you shouldn't have go there. It will install it for you.

[HOW-TO] CMW on LTE Version through Rom Manager

If you have any questions, concerns or problems, please post in the CDMA post because I will no longer be checking here.

This is a guide on how to get ClockWorkMod onto your LTE Galaxy Nexus through Rom Manager
Go to market, search "Clockworkmod"
Install Rom Manager*
Open up Rom Manager and select "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery"
A pop-up will come up called "Confirm Phone Model," of course choose "Google Galaxy Nexus CDMA"
Now let it install etc, then with a File Manager** with SU access, Go to system, click "Mount R/W"(if using Root Explorer) and then scroll down until you see "recovery-from-boot.p" and rename it to "recovery-from-boot.p.bak"
Close out off your File Manager and go to Rom Manager and select "Reboot into Recovery"
There you go
You should be able to boot into CWM
* Free version works
**I used Root Explorer

Could be because you are on a custom ROM. I am on Android Revolution HD and I don't see it at all as well. I also can directly boot from ROM Manager directly into CWM. I never touched this file at all and I never looked for it.

Thank you for this! Now one question if I didn't do this and the stock recovery booted what would be the steps too get this recovery installed?

Then you would follow the steps in the OP
What are the benefits to doing this final part. Is it necessary? Some say they didn't do this? Now on the Thunderbolt I didn't have to have rom manager installed and I could still boot into recovery. Is this the same? If I rename that file (which is in my system directory) will I be able to boot into cwm at any point?
Thanks I have done everything with the exception to this. Wondering if its necessary?
Edit: I guess I should have waited for a response because I went ahead and followed the steps in the OP and it came up with an android with a red triangle. Pulled that battery and booted up ok. Any info I need to be aware of? I wasn't able to boot into recovery from rom manager at first. I can now boot into recovery after reflashing CWM recovery but cannot do anything once I am in it?

Flashing through ROM Manager is just a simpler way to get CWM. And I'm not sure why you would have gotten the red triangle, unless you didn't rename/delete the file in system. And I haven't heard anyone say the couldn't do anything in recovery, so I'm not sure what the problem is there.
When I try and change the file name it says insufficient permissions??
I have root...
Cwm doesn't stick though. I always have to boot reflash recovery and then boot into recovery through from manager..
Any suggestion?

Your file manager doesn't have root privileges, so until you rename/delete the file you won't be able to reboot into CWM

This. I was using astro but changed to root explorer and changed file name. Turned phone off and went into fast boot and then recovery and it worked.
To be clear, I was able to go into recovery before. I would have to open from manager, reflash cwm and boot into recovery.
I was just unable to power phone off and boot into recovery manually. Now I can.

Thanks for the reply. I did rename it the file to .bak following the script to the t! I don't know what happened either. Since then I deleted the file entirely this time and reflashed the cwm seems to work a little better than before an now I can do things in cwm recovery. Hope nothing else goes crazy.

Yeah, that file can cause problems with CWM on LTE, although it's a quick fix, I'm sure it's being worked on for future editions. And since you've been able to flash things, when you use the volume keys to high light options, does it skip one or two every now and then? That's only problem I seem to be having.

[Q] Installing Clockworkmod Recovery Help!!!

I picked up a GSII from Sprint yesterday so of course the first thing I'm going to do is root it. I've got root access with Superuser installed but I can't seem to install a custom recovery. I've been looking everywhere for a file to install via Odin 1.85 but it seems EVERY download link I've found has been broken! I'm on EL29 (White GSII) and am extremely frustrated that I can't figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is your phone the epic touch 4g on Sprint?
Yep. Definitely on Sprint.

Great, I now have CWM recovery and rogue recovery, but no matter which one I use when I try to da a backup (the reasaon I needed recovery) I gat an "can't mount backup path" message and goes back to menu..
Ok new development, I did a backup from CWM to internal sdcard and that works,, so rogue backup won't work,,
Rogue should work to backup to external SD card; it's where it puts it by default unless you choose to mount the internal card - I did it dozens and dozens of times on GB. Saves the file to a folder called sdcard or something. Try again with out any extra steps of mounting or anything.:
In recovery choose backup, then advanced backup toggle down to backup with all saying yes. [Also you might want to make sure that the first time you go into recovery that you press the volume up and down buttons a few times all the way through to make sure you enable the power button/select. See Qbking77's videos for descriptions of that too.]

crap, did I just totally brick?

So, I was running cm10 on my galaxy nexus and I tried to upgrade to cm10.1. I was having some issues after installing gapps and figured I would reboot, wipe and try again. So I factory reset and wiped cache, delvik and system. Now, when I go into any of my folders on my sd in TWRP, I can't find either or restore or even my cm10.1 file! Did I just completely brick my phone, or is there anything I can do to reach the either my backup or a version of the cm10.1. I know they are somewhere on my SD, I just can't reach it due to the 4.2 filing system. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Ross
Sideload a rom through TWRP and adb.
If your device does anything at all its not bricked. Especially if you can get into RECOVERY mode. Why would they call it that if you couldn't recover from it?
They are probably in the /0/ folder now, but if you still cant find them try what xobx said.

No the /0 or /emulated/0 folders are in the /storage folder. You could try using the toolkit to flash a ROM for you or even flash a different recovery. CWM if you have TWRP or vice versa

And then you put it on the root of your sd card then boot phone into recovery (thats if your rooted and have a custom recovery , like cwm or twrp ) (get into recovery by having phone off press volume up and home center button and power button all simultaneously until I see the galaxy note II as creen let go of power but hold volume up and home buttun until your in recovery , then let go of buttons ) then go to install if in twrp navigate to the root of your sd card and selct the modem zip and press flash after that reboot and you should be good.

Thanks, I don't know whether or not there is a custom recovery, as I just got the phone and it came with the Jedi rom, not sure if that is cwm or twrp. And I've never rooted a custom rom or other zip before but this post certainly helps.
How do you put it in the root of SD Card? The internal one in the Note 2 right? Is there a specific folder I put it in?
And which file am I taking from the modem download? Just the .bin? Do I rename it?

Do yourself a BIG favor... slow down!!!! Start by doing a LOT of reading. Search button works great here... use it! You've never done any of this before, and if you do something wrong you are going to be posting "My phone won't boot" or some other thread that says your phone is dead.
Since you just bought the phone and it has a custom ROM, it has a custom recovery. Start by making a backup in recovery, and save to your sd card so you have something to fall back on.
Don't be silly an be too anxious and brick your device.
NO problem, if you have the jedi rom I can guarantee u have a custom recovery so just go ahead and take the steps I told u and u should be good . Having any trouble Pm me or watch some Youtube videos .

Based on your questions, DO NOT ATTEMPT to Flash the modem. You need to read up much more BEFORE YOU START.
One, wrong flash and you are screwed. Make sure you back up your EFS partition before you start so you dont loose your IMEI.

[SHARE][TWRP] MaterialS theme for TWRP 2.8.7.0

I did not created this theme. The developed of the theme is @xanaxdroid. Anyway I am sharing a really cool theme for TWRP custom recovery.
How to install it -
[MAKE SURE YOU BOOT TO RECOVERY FIRST BEFORE INSTALLING IT]
1. Make a folder named "theme" in the TWRP folder.
2. Copy the downloaded zip in the theme folder and name it "ui.zip"
3. Click on the top right corner where you will see a color icon
4. After clicking it click on Change Themes
5. Select the theme zip you downloaded and flash it
6. Reboot your device
7. Go back to recovery and you should be seeing the new theme
Again I did not made this theme. @xanaxdroid is the developer of the ROM.
The screenshot I gave is using MaterialS Dark
TWRP-MaterialSDark is a dark theme for twrp
TWRP-MaterialS is a normal light material theme for twrp
***EDIT***- PLEASE CHECK 3RD POST OF MINE IN THE THREAD. THAT INCLUDES THE LINKS FOR THE THEMES!.

Did you flashed the zip from Install Zip section? It will not work if you flash from there. Goto a little paint icon from the up right corner. After opening it goto the Select Theme section and Select the theme zip you downloaded and click OK on the popup you will get.
