[THEME/MOD](ODEX/DEODEX)__Black Theme__ JW1 (JVU ODEX) 25-1-2012

I would like to introduce you my black theme. It works only on JW1 roms.
First off all I would like to say thanks to some people:
=== Black Android Team (BAT)for their great black icons which i have include in settings and on the extended power menu.
=== dany_ for his great collection of battery icons which i used for this theme.
=== Kitchen UOT team for some status bar icons and for aosp sliders they are just the best.
=== Jacon93 for his really great quickpanel icons.
=== And the people from the greek community myphone. gr (especially Tyxerakias) because i learned from them a lot of things and i still learning.

In my theme i have include:
+Aosp lockscreen
+Extended Power Menu (Reboot,Recovery,Download)
+CRT 'screen off animation'
+ICS animation
+Transparent status bar
+Trasparent dialer
+Non increasing ringtone
+White overscroll effect
+Black/Dark Popup Menu Style
+White progress bar
How to install:
1) Go into recovery and make a backup.
2)Make wipe cache/dalvic cache first.
3)Install the attached __Black theme__ zip.
4)Reboot.
If you want to restore install the Restore_all zip and you are back to stock.

I made also a version without AOSP lockscreen for odex JW1. The installation method is the same. Just install from recovery the __Black theme__ JW1-Odex Glass Lock.zip.
UPDATE 25-1-2012: I port this theme to JVU but only for odex. The only feature missing is the AOSP lockscreen. The other features are the same (i include phone fc fix).
If you want any other mod (fm radio hack, camera hack, crt on etc) go here.
I upload only odex this time because there was problems with jw1 deodex versions.

I have made a deodex edition of my theme. But i havent test it because my base is an odex rom. So, please make a backup first and then test it. I am waiting to tell me if it worked...

I got the icons from a folder called oteam (in my hard drive). That's the reason I confused! Sorry for that!

FC
I installed on stock JW1 but after rebooting i get a lot of FC. Everything is Force Close,i can't use anything. I did wipe,reboot, retry the installation but still doesnt't work. Anyway it looks great.

What Rom do you have? Did you try to fix permissions?

Hi Guys.
This mod/theme changes you backgrounds to black. I have used it with all nexus variants (Nexus S, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4).
With the help of a lot of people (see credits) this mod/theme is evolving to work with all Android Versions (ICS to JB)

it's should, just add the extra folders (SystemUI.apk and Contacts.apk)
Edit: TWRP file attached

Shouldnt matter both are universal and will flash in either recovery. Also the pulldown is the notification_panel_bg.9.png in SystemUI.apk and the dialers background is in the Contacts.apk i think its the nodpi background in that.
Edit: I would suggest making a ZipThemer instead of using VRtheme. Its much easier and this mod you have here will only replace the gray or "holo" images in the framework there is nothing there for the contacts or the systemui

well i just flashed the TWRP file. It work fine. The only problem is with the dialer. Its not completely black.
Troy from TWRP told me that there was a problem with the zipaline file http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1592689&page=32 (post #315) that why i made the 2nd file.
Thanks for everything. I just hope i get the dialer holo dark and this will be a complete zip file!!!:fingers-crossed:

I think the problem could be the T9 dialer. Maybe this is the reason why the dialer does not change to holo black. Isnt the T9 dialer a different apk?

Change your bubble color. If you use the one that is the same color as the green text you won't be able to see it.

updated my Swype beta 1.4 and it reset the keyboard to the stock Swype color. tried reflashing the theme and even reflashed the MOAR purple/green jelly bean Rom. any ideas how to get it back to the theme color?

Thanks I have the link. I was referring to it being included in Morphology and install the theme via aroma. This is an Awesome theme! :good:

Been using this theme since it came out. Going to update moar to newest release (v.2.3), will the theme work still?

[Theme/MOD] Original Andy Multi Window Theme (Update 2/3/2013)

By popular demand and the fact our PM box is being blown up we have decided to post our Multi Window theme. Original idea was mine and Jyle tweaked every image and PNG to get this right. Transparent with Andy peeking out as drawer button and dancing Andy for edit button. Is VRTheme so should work on all carriers including International.
This themes Multi Window only!!!
Be sure to thank JLYLE in second post for his hard work on this mod.

Theme is for the multi window only.. Check ur multi window.... This will not theme entire phone

hi, i'm new to the forum. tried flashing the theme using CWM on rooted stock odex EMA2 (SGS3)... cannot see any changes to my multi window. i previously applied and is still using the transparent theme. could that be an issue?

If on Note 2 it won't work.

We need feedback on whether this mod is working on International version. Post or PM me. Does not work on Note. We may update for Note but need to know if flash actually sticks on I9300 S3. We can make work but have no way to test. Must be deodexed. Thanks ahead for any feedback.

It is built with TWRP zipalign which should work with all recoveries.. Does not work on odexed rom. Must be deodexed. If someone want's to port to odex let me know and give credit. I have no problem but looking at download numbers on all US carriers and International not worth the headache and time to port to odex. Deodex just a 7Zip swap. Odex an all night port for a minor mod. :laugh:

Darn I was really hoping this worked on a stock rooted rom, but it didn't.

It works on the stock rooted MK2 on T-mobile just fine.

ok I think I know what I was doing wrong - i was trying to flash the Dialer-Mod-APKS.zip and that wasn't working. it would give me an error saying the android.phone stopped working.
Tried it again doing the Dialer-Mod-New-Icons-4.2.2.zip and that changed the icons of the buttons. It's still white so I'll have to figure out how to make it black like the pictures.

Try this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2509200 it's updated for 4.3 roms. I used the apks.zip from there. Has the new icons as well as being blacked out. It's perfect!
