Don't think battery would be dead... He gets the boot screen. Try holding the power button for 10-15 seconds if it reboots try getting in the boot loader with power and volume down key. From there get it in fast boot and you should be able to run the ruu or flash a custom recovery
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app

Yeah i know but i didn't knew anything else and he also said already that he can't enter the bootloader
If you can't get to the bootloader you are basically screwed.....the only thing you can try is to check if fastboot devices command turns up a serial and run the needed RUU for the phone !

So I i plugged my HOX after 5 hours to the computer via USB Cable and the red point is flashing stop and start stop and start mabey the battery was Dead and its start charging it ? (Lets wait hour and see what happening).
and someone can give me RUU of Orange UK Cid : ORANGE001 Version: 4.1.1 ?
Update: The Charging Stop . I Dont know what to do.

Red blinking light means low battery charge it when it plugged into the charger rather then pc
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app

Orange does not have a JB ruu released ! You need a nandroid backup for that. Or restore an older orange nandroid backup and the matching stock recovery

okay
The Phone Start Flashing Again Let's keep him for 2 hours more .

Or try this, once you can get to the bootloader you do this
Download this file
http://db.tt/aLqeTpPO
And place it in the fastboot folder on the pc, put the phone in the bootloader / fastboot usb mode and run the batch . It will continuously reboot the phone and charge it little by little.
If you can enter the custom recovery you can leave the phone in there, it should charge in it !
Mr W what's up with this fine picture ?

I Cant do anything , Phone is not flashing any more.
stuck on black screen and cant do nothing ...

Bricked HTC wildfire S

So i have an HTC WildFire S and i think it is bricked, i was running CM7 and it started not reading my batteru right so i decided to go stock. i am S-off with unlocked bootloader, i used this RUU RUU_Marvel_Virgin_Mobile_1.37.351.1_Radio_47.10.35.3029H_7.46.35.08_release_188032_signed.exe
It got to "waiting for bootloader...." but phone just shutdown then it got error cant connect. so i closed the RUU and took my battery out and tried to boot 3 vibes no led and no screen.
tried vol down + power same thing
I have tried everything here not even any of the PG76IMG.zip file on SD are working an im stressed now :/ there is no warranty, i bought it off ebay please help! this is my business phone

I have just read something like this.
U need to jtag ur phone but try this see if it works.
Download the pg76img.zip from the above link
Put in your SD card
Press power and volume down
It should do the three vine ok. Wait for more vibes or just press volume up several times after 5 minutes or so.
It's like flashing ruu from hboot. But without seeing the screen.
See if works. Post ur result.
You have 3 vibrates? If you do, you are in Qualcomm diagnostics mode.

Yea download the zip, rename it to PG76IMG.zip and place it to the root of your sdcard. Then follow the directions in the link he posted above ^^^

EDIT: No luck and battery is still cold, as if it isnt staying on but it wont do 3 vibe unless i remove and place the batt....
Press vol up vol down and power together, and tell me what u get.
If u get 7 vibes means u r bricked. I actually forgotten the thing.

You flashed a Virgin Mobile Canada RUU (GSM/Marvel) to your Virgin Mobile USA (CDMA/Marvelc).
Trust me. Been there. Done that. The 3 Vibe Fix does not work. Qualcomm diagnostics mode does not look at your SD Card.
You need the QPST tool. Google it. After you have it, go to http://teamblueridge.com/irc-channels.html and sign in to the bottom one using your XDA name. Ask for insink71. If he's not there, come back later. I will be on tomorrow to help you, but I can't tonight.

[Q] HOX Locked! and security warning (I was using viperX)

Well, I have a problem. I am using viperx, with my phone unlocked, obviously. I was listening to music when it suddenly reboot. It runs in bootloader. And... with a message LOCKED and security warning. I dont know what happened. It was in my car holder, I didn´t touch anything... If I reboot, it says for a second "this build is for development purposes only. Do not distribute outside of htc without htc's written permission. Failure to comply may lead to legal action". Then back to the bootloader.
The phone was perfectly cold when it reboots...

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1738274
As your phone doesn't start up / boot at all there might be something completely different that's messed up, I'm guessing it's faulty hardware that has first caused your phones software to go haywire and now the phone simply won't start. You could try the charging-script above but I'd probably go for the warranty, HTC might be a bit tricky about that though.
well his phone says locked and not relocked, the only thing there is the security warning, but i guess he can claim never to have rooted the phone.
i´m not sure about it though
Unlock again.
Well, yesterday night, I left the phone plugged to the wall carger. During the night, It starts (don´t know why) and entered bootloader. Unfortunatelly, I was too slept to try anything...
HTC wont take it to the SAT till monday, so any ideas will be really appreciated!

[Q] Help please!

Hi guys... just flashed another ROM, as I have many times, but this time I'm stuck on the HTC screen. The phone doesn't boot past this and forcing a restart by holding the power key and volume down won't get the phone to boot into recovery. Does anyone know any way of forcing the device to boot into recovery. I've obviously cocked up somewhere. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

No... I kept the power button and volume down pressed even after the device restarted, and it then restarted again and booted into recovery. Never had an issue before trying to access recovery so thought it was a bit strange. It was probably just a fluke case. I understand why people jump to the "Did you flash the boot image / clear the cache" reply, but I'm not a novice here. I've been flashing ROM's since 2007!
Thanks for the replies any way

I always have to keep the power button and volume pressed down even after the device restarted, else it just goes over to start the rom automatically. Probably that was ur problem too.

Wildfire stuck in bootloop, successfully access fastboot what now?

Hi i have a HTC Wildfire that I thought i would repair for a friend, i've managed to get to fastboot through power+volume down, it says that the device is S-OFF, what do i do next?
If its a rom i have to install, i would prefer to install the stock sense rom.
thanks for your help in advance.

OK, when i boot into recovery, i get a picture of a phone with a red exclamation mark and nothing else, however when i try and flash a recovery through fastboot the above error occurs, i have no idea if this device has an unlocked bootloader but it is S-OFF
On some devices its easier with fastboot commands in others not. On the wildfire you can just place a file on your sd-card Boot into bootloader and the recovery gets flashed automaticly
So wait i will look for the file or link
EDIT: Here it is download and place in the root of your SD card
http://www25.zippyshare.com/v/70647552/file.html
If the bootloader asks you anything selects yes (obviously)
Btw the red thing you See is the Android stock recovery

Ive tried this and it says "no image or wrong image" it does detect the zip but it says that message after.
im on hboot 1.01.0002, is there a manual way of updating this because ive tried HTC dev unlock RUU but since i can't boot into the phone i get error 190.

I don't think i clarified this properly, but i found this phone at my friends house in a cupboard and it was broken, so i don't know its history, but according to him the phone has been unlocked from 3 UK to any network by one of those mobile phone shops, and after a year or so of use, the phone randomly got stuck in a bootloop one day.
here is a screenshot of the bootloader:

Relocking was a bad idea, you just ran out of all options.
I'm not sure if there is any way around enabling OEM unlocking.
Try the previous suggestion.

Snapdragons are truly unbrickable. But I'm not sure I know enough to help.

I'm fairly sure fastboot boot <image> doesn't even work if the bootloader is unlocked on the op3.
Also, it looks like recovery did get flashed.
Try rebooting to recovery?
Power off by holding power button, then hold vol down + power.
Then if you are booted into stock recovery, just side load the stock ROM.
