[Q] How I can unlock my bootloader ? HELP

Hi everyone ! I have a Xperia Arc LT15i and I found out using *#*#7378423#*#* that I cannot unlock bootloader (Bootloader unlock allowed: No). How I can unlock my bootloader because I want a ROM like CM9 or JJ's Hybrid and it`s must to have bootloader unlock. Please help me with unlocking the bootloader, or please help to find a ROM like CM9 without unlock my bootloader. I want to say that I am not very skilled Waiting for more tips.
download flashtool then Plug in > unlock bootloader
it will guide you to sony's web page, copy paste the code and let flashtool unlock it
Actually JJ's ROM doesn't require an unlocked boot loader.

If you have bootloader unlock allowed:no standing, then you can't unlock it with Sony service, because your IMEI number is then 15 symbols long, so no way for unlocking bl without paying for services like setool

Hi,
If you have bootloader unlock allowed:no , you can unlock it with Omnius , but is not free, 15€/unlock .
I unlocked my LT15i with Omnius, I had "unlock allowed:no" before.
So .. I can't unlock my bootloader, only if I paid :crying:
Setool & Omnius links?
you guys got any links related to this Omnius and Setool things? or other alternatives for Xperias stating that unlocking bootloader is not allowed?.. I had thought that if they say so, it was just impossible to unlock...
Unlock for free

just go here unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com
I'm starting to get angry I said and ludz179 in answer above you I can not unlock the bootloader so because the Service Info says Bootloader unlock allowed: No
was only giving info you say your phone says cannot unlock boot loader then from wat iv seen there is no way to unlock it.
but there is lots of roms out there that run well on none unlocked bootloaders and using new flashtool seems easy plus using DooMLoRD to root the phone .. I think the only way to do it would be to send it to sony service to unlock but knowing them you go no chance
just trying to help thats all
Can't help enquiring. You mention that there are several roms that are available which does not need to have the bootloader unlock.Could you give me the links please.

Bootloader question

Hello everybody, I just bought Xperia arc S and have question about bootloader. My Arc S have simlock. Will simlock be removed if I unlock bootloader? Thank you in advance....
No

You cannot unlock bootloader, if your phone has SIM-lock.
my xperia PRO had a "unlocked allowed: no" and it was also SIM locked... payed for Omnius to unlock the bootloader, and after unlocking the boot, I found later that it was SIM unlocked as well...

Thnks. Can you tell me how I do that?
Go to any mobile service and ask that they can unlock your simlock in xperia m, this should unlock bootloader too.

Bootloader has nothing to do with simlock so it won't unlock the bootloader

I don't want unlock the bootloader, just the simlock...
Unlocking the SIM will not touch the bootloader

Unlock simlock=unlock bootloader
Mine is SIM unlocked and the bootloader isn't unlocked had this question loads of times in the x10 forum and it doesn't do anything to the bootloader as that's just for custom kernels to be flashed if you unlock it via the guides on here SIM lock has nothing to do with the bootloader as the bootloader only runs the operating system boot it has nothing to do with the SIM lock protection wrote into the firmware that carriers put in as an insurance to them so you have to use their network but it can be removed via an unlock code that you enter with the new SIM installed

My eyes!
so... what should I do?
Go to a mobile shop and ask for SIM unlocking or you can search the net for unlocking sites either way you will have to pay for the SIM unlock. And don't worry about the bootloader as it will not unlock that.

Unlock Bootloader in Xperia arc S when says "bootloader unlock allowed: NO"

Hi everyone,
maybe this is a wrong place to post this but im getting desperate.
How can i unlock my bootloader (xperia arc s). But the major problema is when i go to details menu it says this:
bootloader unlock allowed - no
And as far as i search all people says i cant unlock it....
If someone can help me i really aprreciate. or at least tell me some good room for my phone.
I need to give it a new life. Start to close and reboot very often... and right now i dont whant to spend money in other device
Thank you all for the support.
As it says - you are not allowed to unlock the bootloader AFAIK
If you try to attempt the usual unlock bootloader, you'll get hard brick

So basicly im stuck with the phone as it is? I cant install good rooms or whatsoever? what a shame :/
Really appreciate your feedback.
thanks.
You can root your phone and install some roms with the ability to install on a locked bootloader - but most of them are GB or ICS. If youre looking for JB or KK you're out of luck

Search, there's ROMs available for locked bootloader
