I find myself transferring and using the NFC/S beam a lot with my friends. I don't like to keep it on all the time to save battery.
Do you guys know of any toggle or widget to make the on/off process faster?
What do you use?
Sent from my SGH-T999
I think Switch pro widget allows you to make a an NFC on/off toggle widget. Check it out:

What do you mean by that? There is no such thing as settings/s beam without going through "more settings", at least on Touchwiz. Please elaborate.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have downloaded the app and it does have an NFC toggle that takes you straight to the NFC/S beam setting. It would have been nice for the switch to turn it on.

I'm completely stock as well, when you choose the settings Widget, it would give you the option to choose s beam, a lot easier than going under settings, and more settings...

This is what I have been looking for a long time with no success until I created this thread and got some pretty good suggestions.
Thank you very much.

Otherwise wallbase is what I use, but if I go in about 20 pages deep in wallpaper it usually force closes on me.
One that changes every few minutes or so. Sorry, I should had been more specific

Yes! Wallpapyrus is pretty decent, auto change the wallpapers from a album or flicker online even from facebook at a userdefined frequency....
I use Tasker and create time contexts to change at certain times of day. You can also set it up for specific locations.
Is there. Someone who can mod the stock TW messaging app to have pop up reply and reply from notification like on CM 10+?? That feature is great for replying without leaving what you are currently doing and saves a lot of time. I know it can be done with third party apps.... But I Dont want to download another messaging app. Please and thanks!

Perhaps he means for you to search for a capable app. I found this one. Seems to do what you're asking for and doesn't replace the use of the stock message app.

For the life of me I cannot figure out why a generic wallpaper starts running about 10 minutes or so after I place my phone on the Samsung Galaxy Multimedia Desktop Charging Dock.
I've disabled the option for my phone to go to sleep within the Developer options but that doesn't appear to have fixed it. I would prefer to have my phone's screen stay off while it's on the dock, but I can't figure out how.
Anyone have any luck or experience with this dock and keeping the phone screen from turning on for a wallpaper?
thanks!
It might be the daydreaming option.

No ideas? Not only is this annoying but while this stupid screensaver thingy is running my phone gets pretty warm.
Look under settings ->accessory and see if adjusting those settings helps. Maybe it's the home screen one listed in there

So I get this icon that shows my CPU usage and battery that appeared randomly on my notification bar. I'm not sure how it got there but I'm quite used to it now and like the looks of it. Does anyone know how to enable or disable it just incase it goes away on it's own? Or should I be aware of it because it can be a harmful third party app?

Are you using any 3rd party app that monitor your cpu status ect.? I know when I used "Quick System Info" app I had the option to shows those info on my status bar.
Does it also show in the drop down panel? If it does long press on it and chose "App info".

Open your notifications and tap and hold the notification then click app info.
Nothing shows when I drag the notification bar but the same thing it does now. It covers my icons under it and if I were to be on Youtube watching a video on fullscreen it still shows. I haven't installed anything in about a week either. I don't want to take it to T-Mobile and ask since my phones rooted also

Can you provide a list of apps that you have installed? It would help narrow down which programs have the permission to draw overlays and that would likely reveal the culprit. Also, have you tried disabling the Xposed framework to make sure it's not one of the modules you installed (doubt it, but worth the trouble)?

You've installed something recently or changed an app's settings recently. That is an output from a monitoring app. CPU, GPU, or something of that sort.
You need to check that app(s) and uncheck whatever seems to point to showing it.
