Greetings,
4 days ago I got my Note 2, brand new from a greek Vodafone.
I checked my stock firmware prior to rooting, flashing etc, and it was a JRO03xx ALIJ.
I could not find any firmware like this on any gsm model.
Is it possible that I have an LTE hardware model and branded as a GSM N7100 ??
I asked samsung and they said that if it says N7100 then N7100 it is...
Not possible.

Hello everyone.
i have 2 questions, i have S3 SGH-i747M:
first, what is the difference between SGH-I747M and GT-I9300? like it's sim free or what?
another issue, my phone, i bought it used, don't know the origin source (but i suppose it's AT&T), but it have Claro firmware (a Porto Rico or Mexican company!!!! (google for claro mobile). can you provide me with a link to unbranded firmware for my SGH-I747M? i know to use odin, and tried this one without luck (I747MUMBLL1_I747MPCTBLL1_PCT)? and does installing unbranded affect if sim condition (become locked?)
thanks for your support

SGH-i747 is the AT&T US variant of the phone.
GT-I9300 is the International variant
What service provider do you have that you'll be using the phone on?
Yes there is the i747m is the Canadian and American hardware variant, don't ever try to flash a rom from a i9300 or you will Brick you're phone

I have a Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I'm wondering if it is possible to unlock it so that I can send it to Ecuador and it can be used on the Movistar network? The Movistar people said they just need the phone to be unlocked. Help!

Check out GalaxSim Unlock on Google Play to see if this app is available for Sprint Note 2.
It works well on N7100 International version.

If you're talking about this site/link, pay attention it's from Canada, so it's most likely related to Canadian Carriers (Bell, Rogers, etc.. ) NOT ATT sadly. The Canadian version of the GS3 is also a similar model, so I could understand the confusion from that article i747(m) http://www.blanksuniverse.ca/2013/06/android-412-update-on-samsung-galaxy.html
Yeah....ok i see ...so there is no update yet !!

Yep...AT&T is currently solo in this specific blatant disregard for its customers (not saying that other carriers are not guilty). They don't bother to release any information as to why they stand alone. You can wait it out or just root and move on.
