(Solved) Sisaxis controller profile for Modern Combat 3. - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Been on n the lookout for a compatible sisaxis profile for Modern Combat 3. There r lots of profiles for sg3, xoom and other devices but still haven't found one for the note2.
Any kind soul out there who has a working profile or if possible a link to it.

Finally figured out how to map ps3 controller keys. Those who wants MC3 profile can download from the link.

Just copy it to sdcard/data/ com.dancingpixelstudios.sisaxis/profiles.
Then select the corresponding profile from sisaxis.
Enjoy.

how to use sixaxis ps3 controller in a game??

Hi guys, I bought the sixaxis app and got my ps3 controller to sync, but when i tried to use it for a game, there wasn't an option for using a controller. Am I doing something wrong?? My n7 is rooted and have tried the game on dead trigger. Strafe, fire and reload works during the game but I can't get the sixaxis to work. DO i have to remap something and how do i do that? thanks in advanced
Go into preference and under gamepad settings check enable game pad. Also turn the analog poll all the way down makes things more responsive.

You can also use touch profiles and those are VERY handy. I've used em on simple games like Reckless Racing as well as more complex touch layouts like Dark Knight Rises.
I'll also say that sixaxis is one of my favorite root apps. I primarily used it for emulators but figuring out those touch profiles made it even better

thanks guys! didn't see the preference tab at first. I saw some of the .map files that other people posted for games. Which folder would i put the map file in?

Games with PS3 control support

So tonight I spent a little time trying to get my PS3 control hooked up to my Galaxy Note 2, for anyone that doesnt know the note 2 and galaxy s3 can support ps3 controls over bluetooth stock which is awesome no aosp needed. Took me a while because the sixaxis app for my computer wouldnt play nice with windows 8 had to use motioninjoy. I have gotten it to play nice with every emulator so far SNES and N64 but I am looking for some games that can use the control as well I've purchased grand theft auto 3 and hoping to see if we can have a thread with games we try that are fun to play with a control. Also if anyone needs some help setting up the ps3 control to there note I would be glad to help root is required.

Just got my controller today, and am in the middle of setting up the buttons for N64 emulator. I am having trouble with setting up the left analog stick to act as steering in Mariokart 64. It seems that when in the game, I can see that when I press the joystick left, the joystick on screen goes left, but seemingly not far enough to activate the steering (same with right)? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks~

Interesting enough when I set mine up that worked by default man I can play Mario kart with no issues I just mapped the actual buttons. Try this tho I did this for the snes emulator set up the directional pad instead and then my analog worked on its own.

I had the same good fortune for Snes emulator, but still having issues with the N64 emulator. I attached a pic of what I jst tried after reading your post, but still no luck. Last night I had it set-up with the Anolog (L) right in the middle of the toggle on screen, but still couldn't get it to work. I mean it worked, but not enough to make it move on screen????. So tonight I just mapped the directional pad( pictured here), and the toggle/analog on the control doesn't work at all. So I'm at a loss with this one. Any setting I'm missing?
Thanks~

question regarding the n64 emulator... you say you are using a controller over bt with n64 games? which app do you use for this? and also which controller?
i play a lot of n64 on my device, but use the touch screen layout, it is playable, but if there is a better way, please share your secretz
gotta unlock those cheats brah. rofl
I have an six axis ps3 control and I used a app for the computer to program the bluetooth mac address. I didn't use a dual shock but imagine it would work the same I keep my dual shocks for use on my ps3 though. Your gonna need sixaxis controller from the market. Also I couldn't get the sixaxis controller app for my computer to work for the life of me but I believe it's a windows 8 problem. So I download ds3 control it works without issues on windows eight and has more features. I understand you don't need all this if you use a wii control but I don't have one.

For what it's worth,
I finally got mine to work with the N64 emulator. It was one of two things:
Simply rebooting after installing Sixaxis
Pinch to Zoom to widen the radius of the Analog button( this was probably the fix)
Supergnes+legend of zelda a link to the past=pure win with the ps3 controller.
You just have to go into settings, select controller 1. Then you just press the button you want to correspond with the button used for the game. Very easy.

For a great n64 emulator, go to paulscode.com and get the latest beta emulator, im using it and its amazing with the sixaxis app and ps3 controller. U can map the c buttons of the n64 controller to the right joy stick of the ps3 controller.
As for the sixaxis app, if u have root axis, all you need to do is plug in the controller to your phone, and click pair phone, it updates the BT master code, so ur phone recognizes the controller. Then you click start in the sixaxis app and push the center button on the ps3 controller, it should recognize the controller, then you go into the controller settings, or your phones main settings and then input settings, find the sixaxis input, click on settings, and enable gamepad controller.
Just set up the key mappings in app and your good to go.
I purchased a Gameklip from their website, google it, it attaches the PS3 controller to a spare case, which you can buy from their website aswell, and it all functions great.

I've been wanting to try one of my ps3 controllers with mame4droid.
Will have to give it a shot.

[Q] Nexus 7, Sixaxis PS3 Controller and Real Racing 3 game

I would like to ask about using ps3 controller in Google Nexus 7, i already did check the compatibility and then bought and run the sixaxis pair tool, and pair the device with ps3 controller. I think i followed the instructions well.
But when i tried it with Real Racing 3, it doesnt seems to work? Am i missing something?
By the way, i can use the ps3 controller in navigating in OUTSIDE the game in my device, (like when im in the homescreen) so thats confirms the connection, right?
I havent tried it with other games yet, do i need to do something else to make it work?
Please help me. Thanks in advance

First, download sixaxis compatibility checker in google play store, its free, when it is, go download the sixaxis tool to perform the pairing, i forgot the price, but its worth it, you can google it.
And to making it work, creating your own touch profile is better, you can do it in sixaxis tool settings, take a screen shot of your play screen, with the touch controls in it, much better, if not, just remember where the touch controls are located then you can go assigning the ps3 controls button to the touch control points of the game, in short, instead of using your finger, the buttons will be the one doing it.
Then save it. then go back to the main menu of the Sixaxis tool, the part where the Start and Stop is located, then on the part that has an arrow down, tap it and select the touch profile youve made. And thats it, it works perfect for me, hope it does to you too.
can I use your profile for real racing 3 for six axis?

need help with configuration of ipega controller

Hi all, i'm writing here for introduce my problem with ipega controller, in particular with pg-9017.
I have the nexus 4 and i just receive 2-3 days ago the update of android to 4.4 kitkat version, before that i could use without problems and specific configuration the controller with all emulators and some other games, an example was demon hunter 4 (in joystick mode).
But after the update, nothing work anymore, i just let work with emulators using using Bluez IME but the other game, still nothing.
The problem in particular is the fact that the 2 analog stick usually work but there aren't set the functions of other keys of the controller, for example in demon hunter or in wild blood the 2 stick works, and u can move and make action, but no way to make skills.
And now my question, anybody here have the same problem? And there is a way for fix this? Maybe using a particular configuration program.
I upload your post and good luck friend.
