Can someone shed some light on how to go about customizing the "Quick Settings" (from notification bar drop down..) on TouchWiz based ROMs? Not asking about Jellybean (although, it could apply there as well)
For example, there is the icon for Flashlight and it is convenient to just use that instead of app drawer etc. So, extending this, I would like to add another icon in that list to launch an app or widget such as Negative colors or Maps etc.
You can't change them, but you can try this app.

You can add apps to the notification bar

I installed CM10 M2 yesterday and it's amazing and seems very stable so far. But there are a few things I miss about the stock ROM.
1.) The slider lockscreen were you can have the slider with the quick shortcuts and weather and then you get the security screen. Is there anyway to have both on CM without using an app like widget locker. I will be happy to have the default google/CM slider screen
2.) Stay awake, any good apps in the play store?
3.) The notification bar, in stock if you swipe your finger from the top of the screen in a full screen app (like when playing a game or watching a movie) it would bring up the notification bar for a few seconds within the app. This was very handy to have and hope an app can bring this back or a CM mod.

I was just wondering if there was any setting, option, or even app that will allow me to hide the icon that shows next to my signal icon and shows when the phone is in "Vibrate" mode? I'm kind of a minimalist and this little icon bothers me. I hid the alarm icon, but can't seem to find a way to hide this.
I'm using LiquidSmooth JellyBean 4.2.1 Beta 2 and the KT kernel if that helps.

Aren't you running TPR rom? Why aren't you asking this in that roms thread? If you are on TPR there is an included app that allows you to choose which toggles to display and in what order also. Go to settings then quick panel
Edit: my bad thought you where referring to the toggles I see now it's the icons on the status bar.

My guess would be somewhere in framework... Did you try morphology?

it's a systemUI icon, you could find it and make it the same color as your UI bar, then it would "disappear" and you wouldn't see it.
Morphology has colors, but you could download morphology and see where it is and what the filename is and then color it to your desires. then inject it into your UI with 7zip.
I have attached them in purple...these the right ones?
Or you could use a piece of black electrical tape, pull it off when you are not on vibrate...J/K.. The above is a better idea..

Well if you want to do it the "right" way, as in hide the icon while in vibrate mode, get the Settings.apk from TPR and decompile it
Then find the place where you can turn the vibrate toggle off/on and either run the code it uses or modify the files that its modifying
Do that and you'll be able to do it on any rom, regardless of whether its already been baked in or not

Hi,
I would like to have the quick toggles ( activate wifi, bluetooth ...) in the first notification bar.
I know Power Toggles but I don't want to use it because always put the battery icon and I don't like it.
Many thanks and sorry for my english!
Power toggles are just perfect, and you do not need root. you can have the battery icon made invisible, all app with toggles need the notification icon because the OP shuts it down from ICS and above

This is what I use and it is very much customisable. You can also include any app of your choice using this. This app is called Widgetsoid.

Hope it helps.
Have you tried two finger swipe down on screen? Are these toggles no good? You can customise them on a lot of ROMs and set it up the way you prefer
+1 for Widgetsoid
Switch pro widget. I like it better because you can toggle on and off with one click the GPS, for example, while others brings you to the settings menu.

Another very good alternative is the notification Toggle and is free in the market:

Haven't seen a thread for the HTC One M8 and would like to see what people have come up with. I hope that people would share their setups and how they did it, so others can get ideas and come up with something of their own.
If you post, please share how you did it, or whatever apps/Xposed modules you used. Also, if the Mods are not clear in the pictures, explain what mods are done.
This is all on the Stock 4.4.2 OS that is on the HTC One M8, it's just Rooted.
All of the Mods come from Xposed Modules:
EX-Themer[KK]
HTC One Tweaker
Overflow Mod
Sense 6 Lockscreen Mods
Sense 6 Toolbox
Smooth System Progress Bars
SoftkeysFadeMod
Tinted Status Bar
Unicon
XSense
*****Unicon is the only module that you download via the Google Play Store, and costs money*****
In the first screenshot, I have custom Icons via Unicon, the Icons themselves are from the icon pack Cryten. Also the Weather Widget is transparent. The Software Keys are smaller, taking up less real-estate than the stock.
In the second screenshot, the App Drawer background is transparent instead of black.
The third screenshot is of BlinkFeed, the Dock Icons disappear.
In the fourth screenshot, the Status Bar and Navigation Bar change color to whatever app it is in via Tinted Status Bar.
In the fifth screenshot, its the same as the previous one, just showing the change in color of the Status and Nav Bars.
In the final screenshot, the Nav Bar icons fade via SoftkeysFadeMod.
I like to customize things to a point where they look kind of stock, like it was made to be the way it looks. I don't like over the top mods. Show me what you guys come up with!
Going to start messing with the Notfication Background, lets see what I come up with.
Hope you guys enjoy!
The home screen thread is under the Themes and apps thread. There is also a bigger one under the international forums also.
Thanks for this. Must have missed it.
Mods, please close the thread.

It's like that on stock. What ever apps you have on the lower part of your home screen, those will be displayed on the lock screen.
Hi Everyone ,
could help me to show the notification on the icon belong to The LG G3 , like example :
Facebook , what's up ...
i didn't saw any notification on this icon but when i run the application i found to many notification ,
so if there any option to show Or hide icon notification please help
Coming from iOS? By default, Android does not show notification badges over app icons, although there are some launchers (like Nova) that do have this option. Notifications are shown in the notification tray when you pull down from the status bar. From there, you can interact with them.
