Bravo flashing question

Hi i have a bravo phone , someone before tried to debrand it and messed it up
it has come to me and i have called htc who said its a uk generic handset unbranded .
i have tried to flash with
RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.29.405.5
but it says
radio v2 fail on screen
please can anyone kindly advise me how ro recover this phone back to normal
many thanks
You sir, may be screwed. Anything with a Radio fail means that there is a very high chance that the phone is bricked beyond repair by means of software, and needs a mainboard replacement.

Htc desire bootloop

Hello! After unsuccessful update HTC Desire stuck in bootloop. I tried almost everything but nothing.
I tried flashing from RUU but it stucks on 18% Checking Header.
Please help to revive my desire.
There is no detail in this thread. Please supply everything you know.
My friend wanted to flash desire. But something happens and it stuck on the boot loader.
I think that i would repair it. I read much information and i was advised to flash it vie RUU. I tried to flash with WWE rom. But it stuck on 35%. http://ton.mrankalo.net/pics/stuck.png
I didnt know what to do and unplug the usb. And then desire restared and it appeared htc logo with one ! on the every 4 corners.
I downloaded
RUU_Bravo_H3G_UK_1.22.771.1_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_127568_signed
because my friend told me that is is bought from Three UK.
Now it stuck on 20% Checking Header.
That's all.
Please help.
Edit: http://ton.mrankalo.net/pics/desire.jpg
That's the bootloader before my procedures today.
What did your friend flash with?
Best thing I recommend, download 2.3.3 RUU from htcdev.com (Kernel source section).
Then put device in fastboot (back + Power from off) then connect USB and run RUU.
If it hangs at radio and then says fail, may be broken
Almost 10 minutes it's stuck on the same: 35% Updating Radio. No error, nothing.
What about gold card? Can I make it without having access to desire's andriod?
Gold card wont help. If its hanging on radio, sounds like a radio brick. Contact HTC for warranty repair.

I dont think warranty will help. Any idias? I tried 2.3 Update from Htcdev. But it stuck on 22% Updating Radio.

Only reason it wont help is you are out of warranty or there isn't an official HTC center where you can have it repaired.
You just say that you are trying to upgrade to the official Gingerbread update and it didn't work as it should.

Well good luck then but like rootSU said, if it says it's failing on the Radio part of the update then the chances of having it fixed yourself is slim.
Like I told you in pm, using another ruu will not help you. Try for warranty. Of course if you use wrong ruu and put something that obviously shouldnt be there and then can't remove it, your warranty is screwed.
Anyway you have my advice. Remaining in this thread will just be.painful for me. best of luck.

What about

I think this will help.

What do you think? Why you are angry? I want to repair the phone.
How will that thread help? No one on that thread fixed the issue. I have already told you, CONTACT HTC!
I contacted HTC 2 times and they didnt tell me anything. They asked me what happened and nothing else.

Tell them that you tried to update to 2.3.3 from HTCdev.com and now it will not flash past the radio. Tell them this is a warranty repair and ask them if you can send it to them.

Have you attempted to flash a stock rom to the phone? Or even use GoldCard to try and restore it first? It could be (i'd hope so anyway) a bad rom flash?
When did this start happening?

it has been off since one week .. when i try flashing rom .. it get stuck @ 10 %
10%, that's a weird number... if your phone is still under warranty and you haven't debranded it, I'd send it back to HTC to see if they can fix it... just try to flash a rom and hope that you can get a stock SPL flashed to it..
I would still attempt a GoldCard flashing if you have the ability to try it.

I had a similar problem with my friend's HD7. Tried the GoldCard approach - no luck with that. Tried official HTC service but they could't help either. If your warranty isn't void you should definitly send it back - if they can't fix it you get a new phone If you really want to try replacing the motherboard I think your best best is to look for "broken" Trophies on eBay. Hope you'll have more luck than I had...

Flashing with RIFF BOX

IF I have unlocked bootloader, will RIFF BOX flash phone or I must relock it?
Why do u want to use the riff box
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
I thought you used riff boxes in unbricking
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
I will get DHD for a few days which stuck on HTC logo.
CWM showing errors cant opet/mount E:\... I was unable to flash boot, hboot, recovery (flash malfunction error) and gave phone on service...
Seller told after 35 days that phone is not fixed because it have unlocked bootloader but I thing that he lies to me and he do not know how to fix it.
He told me that he sent it on another service to flash it with RIFF BOX but I don't believe him for some reasons (that service don't have RIFF BOX)...
Now he will return me my DHD on Wed and I can try to relock bootloader and try flash official RUU (I didn't know that RUU won't flash if bootloader is not relocked/locked).
If I don't have luck, I will sent it to another sevice which will try to reflash it with RIFF BOX
It is just 6 monts old phone and it stopped to work before one month I get several FCs, reboot, and stuck at HTC logo...
Bricked or not, I don't know...

What model go you have?
You might want to try and regenerate your unlock key, relock your phone, verify it works without a issue, reunlock, then flash custom recovery again

Ok i understood it. The thing is that in order to flash stock rom we need:
1.RUU.exe for htc desire 816 dual sim india[Not available]
2. Stock Rom [Available]
3. Stock recovery[Available]
4. Fastboot commands like
fastboot oem lock
fastboot flash recovery (recoveryname).img
[Ok this is also available]
Since the stock RUU is not available there is no way in which you can revert back to stock.
So I went to hTc service centre they told me that they cannot help me since my device is *TAMPERED*. They told me the only solution is to change the motherboard which will give you stock.
Even i mailed hTc about the problem they told me that reverting back to stock is not possible("Officially".coz they havent released the ruu for us. Actually its possible if you have ruu. But they wont give u ruu.).
They told the same reason that my device is tampered.
SOLUTION:
What i did:
Unlocked my bootloader by following steps on hTC dev site
Flashed TWRP by followings steps on twrp site for a5
(Luckily i had cm12 )So it booted into system.
But if you dont have any rom, then flash it thru recovry.
SO BASICALLY WE ARE STUCK ON CUSTOM ROM, UNTILL THEY RELEASE RUU.

this is bull****; they can and they will fix your device even if it's tampered. they do have all the required files, no motherboard change is needed. you'll just have to assure them that it's your responsibility, and that you'll pay the cost. If you can 't come to an agreement with your local hTC care, try another one. try writing to hTC support and/or customer experience/social media. explain your problem to them, they will come around. even if they don't at last, there are third party service shops that have the required files and can fix your phone(atleast where I live). I've heard that some even do it over the internet for you
cost of mobo change is usually 1/2 to 2/3 of the price of the device

This is the reply I got from a chat session with a HTC service guy. "In regards to your query, we would like to inform you that HTC does not recommend our customers to convert or root the device as doing so voids the warranty of the device and also it may cause hardware to malfunction. We do not provide support for rooting and unlocking the bootloader." "I would like to inform you that we cannot help you with the RUU file ." When I asked the reason for not releasing the RUU the guy just ended the chat session!

I'd say try again, over and over. I've had similar replies but if you're persistent , you're gonna find the right person, or the right way. this mobo change is stupid, and you should find someone who understands that
