I have noticed my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) randomly rearranges my apps every once in a while. Does anyone know if this is a fault on this particular device or if it is a common problem. Also how do I rectify this reoccurring problem. Is there any way I can prevent this from happening.
I am on Vodafone UK running on Android Version 4.1.1 (apparently this is not the latest version but my device will not connect to kies on my laptop, it says the software on the laptop is not the latest but wont let me update it.)
Your help will be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Hey guys im new on the forum and new to Android Tabs and im having a major problem connecting with wifi. I have the tab for 2 weeks now and when i first connected via wifi at work it connected perfectly fine.
I checked similar threads, but those are ones with rooted tabs and mine is completely stock. Im not sure how to root a tab and im way too much of a noob to attempt it so I need help with my stock tab.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (GT-P7500). It just says obtaining IP address constantly, but with my Galaxy S2 it connects instantly. I even disconnected my S2's wifi to see whether it would help and it doesnt help. I use wifi at work and never had any probs connecting at all. Only with my Tab.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Not sure if this info will help, but ill add it here anyway:
MODEL NUMBER: GT-P7500
ANDROID VERSION: 3.1
KERNEL VERSION 2.6.36.3
[email protected]#1
BUILD NUMBER: HMJ37 P500XWKG9
I dont know the settings of the work wifi.
Thanks in advance!
Anyone willing to help?
Anyone able to help?? It would really help if someone can help with this problem. I did a hard reset already and that doesnt work.
Not trying to be mean but this is the wrong forum for galaxy tab 10.1. You can get a lot more help on your issue there.
Since you took the time to post, I have an initial suggestion. Try to use static IP instead of the default automatically obtain IP address. Or try a different wifi channel. I have a tab 10.1 as well but have not had that problem so this is all I can suggest for now.

Hi. 2 days ago my note 2 suddenly stopped connecting to the internet. i get the message "network disabled. poor connection". i have tried many different wireless (public, home, work, parents, friends) with the same resault. first i tried a factory reset to see if that fixed the problem, but it didnt.
the phone were at that point on the first german 4.1.2 version, so i decided to install the latest firmware for Nordic countries (since im from Norway) to see if it would fix it. but still the same problem.
today i tested my wifes S3 to see if she had the same problem, and she did. so now both our phones are without internet. does anyone have an idea on how to fix it? should i try a different 4.1.2 version for another country or should i downgrade to 4.1?
Same problem me s3 any solution.?

Sounds like the problem is not with the phones but with the network. you can try waiting a while to see if things improve, or else do a power-down reboot of your router AND your phones to see if that will solve the problem.
Reboot your device first off. Check if other devices can connect to said network. Worst case reboot your internet equipment (router/modem). Failing all that are the phones rooted? If so try a different radio

I really need some help guys and gals I got this phone of my mother, and the Bluetooth and WiFi had never really worked for her, but she didn't ever need them as all she did was send texts calls and Facebook.
But the problem I am facing is that the WiFi and Bluetooth turns on and then hangs and then greys (see video) out. There have been similar issues like this.
I have no installed apps beside from Reddit is fun i have rooted and installed a custom kernel (Adams) which hasn't helped i have tried a facotry reset countless times with both the custom kernal and the default unrooted.
i have tried to unscrew all the screwss on the back and then rescrew them, i have removed battery and sim cleared all caches and to no avail nothing works

Hi, i got Galaxy Tab 3 (7.0) running android 4.1.2 and Galaxy S2 running 2.3.6 gingerbread. I was trying to connect them via wifi direct with no success. Both found each other but file transfer failed. Actually Tab was in "sending" state but SGS2 has this "loading" circle running with no result. I like having gingerbread on my S2 as it is clear, simple, fast and it doesn't drain battery. Although on my Tab I have no choice, but still not long it too much, but oh well...
Can anyone tell me if it is system incompatibility issue during wifi direct file transfer or it is something else?
I suppose I did all right, but I tried this feature for the first time. I was pushed to that because tab 3 is not compatible with "virtual cable" app.
And it is strange that both found each other but no transfer between. I read it is fast connection but why it is not working?

Problem solved! Silly me, I turned off some apps and processes and one of them was wifi direct sharing on my galaxy s2. After all everything is working fine. No different system versions incompatibility issue were involved.
It is a proof that in that matter different systems work together fine.
Topic closed. Can I click "thank" button to myself? LOL!

Hi,
Since this morning I constantly have HSTS certificate failure on my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition running stock ROM (not rooted) preventing me from accessing most of Google services, Twitter and others on my device.
The issue appeared suddently.
The strange thing is on my own computer running Chrome 34 on the same network, I've no issue.
Thanks for you help.

Factory Reset fixed the issue... But it was a extreme way of fixing it !
I just had this same issue on a friend's computer. Turned out his clock was reset to 2004 and all the site certificates were invalid. Setting the clock to 2014 fixed the issue.
