-AutoKiller Memory Optimizer boosts your device and defends your battery at the same time!
Forget task killers! AutoKiller Memory Optimizer is not a regular task manager, it is an award winner memory (minfree) tweaker, it fine tunes android systems inner memory manager to keep your device fast over time. As a side effect it also lowers battery consumption. Also includes a manual process/service manager.
- ROOT REQUIRED to set minfree values, unrooted devices will only have an emulation of this feature.
-I really recommend to you to buy the pro key.
-Lets see how to use :
-Attachment 1
-Check how much ram i have free with the system default minfree settings
-Around 98MB >> Now go to change and click wich one suites you,in my case is the ultimate (Check attachment 2)
Now you will see how your ram free increases, jst check mine, now with ultimate selected i got around 120MB ram free instanly (Check attachment 3)
So guys, try it ,and post your opinions about the app,and dont forget to thanks
If u like the app buy pro key it really have cool features.

Manage XDA Orbit RAM

Is there nyway of managing my RAM as it constatnly seems to show only 10M free, but there is nothing that I can see as running. Is there anyway of freeing up RAM on this thing?
Also curious as to just where my 23.7mb of ram after soft reset disappears to. After a few hours in my pocket I only have 19. Not a great loss I know, but where does it go? Active sync is scheduled to manual so that isn,t it.
I have deleted all /lnk in startup folder except those I deem essential. Even deleted the o2c.lnk. I also have set Activesync to manual, and have no running programs and no connections active or Wifi/Bluetooth active, yet am still left with on average 10-14M free out of 48M ?? What can be taking up over 30M of RAM ??
I haveused a few registry tweaks (cache increase etc.) and have OmapClock to up my CPU and although my PDA is alot faster, I would still love to know what background proggies could be sapping this much RAM.
A question to ask is does it actually matter?
Sure I would like to know as well as my Orbit is also sitting around 10mb. However, this does not seem to affect performance or stop anything running. Has the OS just cached previously run applications to make launching faster, hence the memory is only released when actually needed?
Try this program http://www.xda-orbit.com/comment.php?comment.news.21

I also have a similar problem.
After sof reset my Orbit shows around 22Mb Program memory.
This then slowly decreases even down to 2Mb.
A soft reset brings it back to 22Mb.
I have also tried SKtools to FreeUp RAM, but this ususally only releases a couple of MB.
Any idea anyone ?

[Q] Two bugs: SMS drafts when signature, and voltage

Stock ROM. Two bugs.
In legacy SMS app, I have set a message. Any time I exit a conversation with back button, app says it saved a draft. Need to exit by doing menu-discard. I had this bug also in the stock rom for my previous phone, HTC Sensation, 3 or 4 years ago (android 2) (fixed after changing rom). I am surprised this bug comes back after so long. Is there a fix ? When loading the draft again, it adds the signature a second time, then a third ...
Many apps and widgets show voltage of battery to be 3 or 4 mV. Few app give the correct value. After digging, the value in /sys is good (forgot the full path file name). An advanced app shows the correct value internally, and gives a button to access the android internal hidden menu of battery, and in there, the value is wrong. So, it looks like it's an android bug, and all apps which get it wrong are those asking kindly the value to Android (instead of going directly in /sys). Is there a fix ?
Ah, found the file:
Code:
cat /sys/devices/platform/htc_battery/power_supply/battery/batt_vol_now
4193
The following shots are from Android Tuner Free: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ccc71.at.free
3rd image says: you are going to reach a feature hidden by the manufacturer ... that could damage your phone. Use it at your own risks. => to me it's going to an internal android menu. A stock one.

RAM usage with custom ROM on clean install

Hi,
I would like to know if installing a custom ROM will allow me more apps that I use in memory. For the time being, the stock Nexus 5X system and Google specific apps take quite a lot of this device RAM (1.1 - 1.2 GB).
View attachment 4160763
For example, the Google App, which I don't use, constantly eat 100+ MB of RAM.
So, how is/was your ram usage with a custom ROM ? Can I disable/uninstall the Google specific apps in a custom ROM (e.g. Cyanogenmod ) ?
Regards
Usage on Lineage OS without those google apps like (google now, google music....)
As you can see there isn't much difference.

i have experienced similar problems & my device has less RAM than yours. Flashing can be a tricky affair. Do you have root access? Before you jump in see if you can determine which apps are running in the background unnecessarily & kill them. Despite what some folks say, a good task manager can help even if only to discover what's running & how much memory they are consuming.

Indeed, there is not much of a difference .
The lack of the Google App gives you an additional of 100 MB of RAM.
Thank you very much!

Stopping Apps from Deep Sleep

Hi,
I have the following phone:
Samsung Galaxy S20 (SM-G988U1) Ultra 5G (SnapDragon) [Not Rooted]
Android 13 & One UI 5.1
(I run Nova Launcher)
I have both Avast AV and a Notification app that I use and which need to run all the time. For their Battery Usage, I set them both to "Unrestricted" and I did also Disable the "Remove Permissions if App is Unused" setting for both apps.
What's happening is that every time I Reboot my phone, I get a Notification from "Device Care", that says it put the apps to sleep because they were "sending unnecessary notifications and slowing down your phone".
The same thing is happening on my wife's Samsung Galaxy A71 5G phone as well (running same OS & UI as mine), so I know it can't just be my phone. Plus we bought them just a couple of months ago new.
Please help??? I wish to keep my hair in my head!
Thank You!
Dave
Disable global power management.

Developer options>standby apps, when global power management is disabled all bucket states show as active.
Otherwise optimize the phone by dealing with apps on a case by case basis. Limiting data and battery use in the individual app settings doesn't effect global power management. Use Package Disabler or adb edits to kill unneeded apps that are using excessive battery and do not respond to more civilized methods of control.
