I just installed it on a wanam 12.5 and it works.
It's hard to say that there is a difference, without placebo effect, but at least sound is not broken and the sound is good.
Concerning the installation, on SpeedMod recovery version the installer is a little bit strange, you have to play with the phone buttons to use it, but it can be done.

is this can be install on jb4.1.1?
if i installed awesome beat, am i must uninstall awesome beats first?

Plz how to uninstall ?

I also tried the build.prop tweaks which also works (again, didn't see clear difference).

Didn`t work for me. No sound after flashing. Errors from Music players, youtube etc.
Tried replacing the audio_effect.conf located in /system/etc by the one located in the zip file in /aroma/main2/etc but it still doesn`t work. Going back to nandroid backup now.

Yeah had the same issue but without them it works.

Yes you will need to have root to install this.

Make sure you deodox your ROM before install unless you want a bootloop

To install a newer version you will need to go back to a clean back up. I set up a back up before I did this just so I could quickly go back and install newer versions. As for what version you have there is not a easy way to see I don't think. At the same time I would suggest keeping track of what your flashing so you do know what you have. I keep a file with all my current mods in it.

Is there a way to make the beats notification come on using bluetooth? I only listen to music through bluetooth really. In my car and headsets. It just makes me feel like its working when I see the beatsmod thing pop up lol.

This MOD can really give some great sound. i have one issue tho: the equalizers always don't work that well. It takes ages for the sound to react and DSP manager isn't working. Whatever i select in DSP, nothing happens :crying:
One more question, can I use this on JB?

Been trying it out tonight, it does actually make a difference. Good sound!
Only thing is, i use bluetooth aand no symbol or anything come up.
Should there be an equalizer menu or something or do i need dsp manager?

I downloaded v2.0 and it was 56MB, before I installed v2.0 I saw there was an update, so I waited. Now we are at v4.0, but it is 5.6MB (1/10th) the size. Which version should be used? Is v4.0 an update to flash over the previous version? According to the OP this is not the case, but how could the new version be 10% of the earlier one?
I would really like to try this on my SGS3.

V4.0[AROMA] FCs everytime when i chosed equalzier of Walkman music and play google music ( install with full addon ) But v3.0 good for me- working and no Fcs !

Some questions cause i dont really know anything about sound.
I added build.prop lines and i have install InfinitySoundv4.0[SimpleZip_U]_signed.Im on DLI7.
So, now i need better headphones to feel the difference or the simpre Samsung headphones is ok?Im can read in op ''(Don't forget that you need good hearphone to notice all the change, better are your earphone, better are the music this will never change!)'', but any improving in stock headphones?
I need any specific player or default music player is ok???
And what about speaker quality??Have you notice any improvement?
InfinitySound is enable when i plagged my headphones but i cant see any really different.Am i deaf or im doing something wrong???

UltimateSoundbooster
(Louder volume and even more powerfull bass) (only for testing purpose atm, could be inclued in next version if it works good):
- Download UltimateSound (one simple zip file with all inclued Srs,Dolby,DSP,clearbass,... no more addon needed)
- Download Walkman player addon (only if you need it)
- Put it in your SDCard
- COPY audio_effect.conf file located in system/etc into your SDcard (you might need this file in case of no sound issue)
- Reboot into Recovery
- BACKUP your System!!!
- If you flashed any of previous soundmod release reflash your ROM or restore a backup without any SoundMOD (only way to be sure there is on issue at all)
- Flash UltimateSound.
- Reboot

no bootloop using cm9 beta 1 but experiences volume will be suddenly higher after skip to other song.
