Hi garwyn. Just curious but what is different in this versus the standard clockworkmod recovery? I actually paid for the premium version of that awhile ago but dont really care for it any longer and just use twrp now.

At the moment absolutely nothing.. It's pure unadulterated CWM from 10.1 base.
However, I'll be working on that down the road.
For example, I noticed it only backs up boot, recovery, system and data at the moment.
Not sure what the "premium" version does either - and certainly wouldn't recommend paying for any version of recovery.
Shouldn't be a need to.

It would be cool if you could build it so it is able to restore either backups also such as cwm and twrp backups..

I am curious about themes - is it pretty safe to use the themes created for the Verizon Nexus as long as I stick with themes appropriate for the ROM type that I am flashing? I thought I read that it was - just want to be sure -

Very strange, I'm looking into it. The error I was getting was that it needed a google employee account.
Would anything get borked if I flashed a different kernal with this after install?

Instructions:
How to flash the rom for novices:
You must be running a kernel with CWM Either use THIS.
Once you have the EL26 Stock cwm Kernel
1) Place the rom zip on your SD card.
2) Power off your phone.
3) Boot into CWM.
4) Perform a wipe Cache, and Dalvik-cache. Now in Mounts and Storage perform format/system. Now wipe data (factory reset). You can also perform Calks wipe all zip (found HERE) if you want but not needed.
5) Select "install zip from file" and navigate to and select the zip.
6) When it finishes flashing, go back and select "reboot system now". The first boot will take a couple minutes. Subsequent boots will be much faster.
Warning: Do NOT restore system data with Titanium Backup. Do NOT restore ALL apps with data. If you absolutely must restore something with Titanium Backup, only restore MISSING apps with data.
7. If you DID NOT download the rom to your pc, and dl to your phone and there's a problem, try dl to your pc FIRST before you whine that its a bad dl.
I am not responsible for anything that may happen to your phone or personal life when flashing this or any other Team Venum file.

Nice! JBCNA!

Update:
I just flashed CNA-JB to test going from CM10 and it runs flawlessly.. all I did was mobile Odin el26 kernel, data wipe / factory reset, wiped cache & dalvik and flashed CNA & gApps.
I flashed TB, ES file explorer, ROM toolbox, set DPI to 128, verified all mounts are correct, gallery sees pics on both directories, GPS locks, WiFi stable, and I ran nandroid to test that as well. Completed without errors..
I flashed el26 kernel again, data wipe / factory reset, wiped cache & dalvik, flashed cwr6-ATB, rebooted recovery, cleared cache and dalvik once again, restored CM10 backup and its running flawlessly once again too..

This is a self-compiled kang of CM-10.1 with cherry picks from CyanogenMod Gerrit bringing you upcoming features before they are merged. Warning: These builds could possibly have broken features due to the cherry-picks! If you're not comfortable with that please do not flash.
Latest Deviant CM build: http://d-h.st/users/djintrigue808/?fld_id=12260#files
CyanogenMods Gerrit: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:open,n,z
CyanogenMod's Github: http://github.com/cyanogenmod
Code:
Cherry-Picks in Recent Build:
-Stylus Gestures in Settings/Language & Input
-Make going to call log after call optional
-Allow to hide Vibrate on notification option
(If you would like to see a certain commit cherry-picked please let me know!)
If cherry picks disappear, it's because they were either merged, abandoned or conflict with the current source or other cherry picks.

Re: [ROM][CM10.1][Deviant] t0lte nightly w/ cherry-picks
I read somewhere where you can eliminate this extra 0 folder when you flash 4.2.2 its very annoying. Its a flashable zip i just cant remember where i see it.

What I do is just keep the 0 folder and copy everything from the SD card to the 0 folder but I have double the files. 1 for tw and 1 for aosp. If you find that flashable zip please do share.

It's in the official CM10 nightlies thread in the OP IIRC. Thank you DJ for doing this, folks who don't know just won't know how great this is really. When I had my GNEX fitsnugly always had kangs with cherry picks for every official CM nightly and it was freakin' great! While I love custom one off CM/AOSP roms, sometimes it's just hard to beat official CM with cherry picks! That's bleeding edge, and 99% of the time, perfectly stable too! Thanks again.
The t0lte is really turning out to be a very well supported device AOSP wise. Almost Nexus-like...
