So does this work properly on Jelly Bean? I've been wanting this for ages, but all the ones I have tried, have had issues with conversations not threading. so it would start a new thread randomly for teh same contact. I'll give it a try!

I flashed via CW recovery, it said succesful, but doesn't appear in my app draw?? Is it just called messaging?

Hey guys
I would like to ask if its possible to have a T9 dialer on Google Edition ROMs. Or if its possible to port CM10.1 dialer?
I already tried replacing the stock GE contacts.apk with CM10.1 apk and fixed its permission then reboot. But that got me nowhere and ended up with no dialer at all.

Try this Swipe Dialer Free or Swipe Dialer Pro on Google play :good:
Try using the contacts/phone apk from a CM build that has it.

Tested. T9 dialer works great.
No vibrate options as CM phone app as usual... But T9 dialer works great at least... !!!

Thanks for the link! I've flashed it and it's working perfectly, but one thing bothers me, the stock dialer has a light cyan color gradient in the background. The one i've flashed is all black. Why's that?

You wanna ask the modder that question.
Clearly he/she preferred a darker colored dialer.
You didn't have a T9 dialer and now you have one, but now you don't like the color.
People are difficult to please...
It's just I've never seen the dialer in all black, so maybe I was thinking something went wrong. But now I know. Thanks for the answer!

Disable one, if you feel with popup, you can goto settings, notification(untick).

So apparently I messed up the flashable zip... Whoops! Till I fix it, please put the apk from the zip to system/app
Fc's ain't happening to me, folks I tested it on 3 different roms 4.2
I cannot install on RemICS v6 Some errors and instalation is aborted

Yeah, I tested it just on cm10.1, and I thought this would work because it is the browser originally from ICS, it was all chrome from jb

Nice to see your themes on 4.3 now (as a standalone installer that is lol) however I still can't test this as the current 4.3 firmware is still kinda buggy. But like I said I'm glad to see your themes again and it's always good know that themers like you still love us S3 users

This is a 4.4 CM11 MMS I themed up, I've tested this APK and everything is working perfectly on Kit Kat (including google edition) This will work on any 4.4 build for any phone so if you are coming to this post from another device this APK should work perfectly fine for you too

not even close to the same as the playstore
8sms is a ported official Google 4.3 apk this is 4.3 since kit kat has no longer mms apk since is now hangout. Cm 11 uses 4.3 but still great job I installed this over 8sms

Is it possible for you to add option for emoji icon on the right side of the of the section where you enter text .. I seen this option on another mod and wondering if possible on this mod as well ..

I am using your apk, great job and that thx! Question for you... I believe themeing the 4.4 dialer is on the fritz right now, but how bout inverting 4.4 contacts? I could get by with that for my ocd

I used root explorer and copied to system/app then fixed permissions and reboot

It's not working for me :/
Edit: I figured what was wrong. Even though the permissions were set correctly, I also had to make sure the ownership was both set to root and then had to fix permissions.
At first, it was Rw--r----. I changed that to Rw--r--r and then went into ownership and made sure it said root, root. Fix permissions, reboot and done. Just letting anyone know how I did it so nobody got stumped like me.
Any Dialer or Contact inverted app as well?
This is great work. I was curious about the call icon in the notification list. It's white while reply and read are blue. Can this be changed?
