[Q] Liquidsmooth + KT747 OTG?

Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum so let's make a first post.
I've always used OTG with my 32gb flash drive with stock rom and it worked perfectly, but with liquidsmooth it doesn't work... well, not like before. When I insert the flash drive I get "SD card removed" looping in notification bar and after couple seconds my phone crashes, auto reboots. I can get a 8gb flash drive to work SOMETIMES, my external HDD usb powered doesn't work either. Is it something with the ROM or is it kernel related?
I also get "Damaged" or "Blank" SD card.. it seems very buggy..
The USB host app it said everything was fine except "Rooted API:N/A", I don't even know what is rooted api
This is the only thing that bugs me about this setup..
PS: I have a S3 i747M (rogers). How can I make a signature and put useful spec in it?

I had a similar problem. My phone reset during a flash and corrupted my data partition. I had to do a full "format data" in wipe to fix it.

Go back to stock rom???

note i317m cant read sim after unlock

I bought a note i317m off craiglist and he had flashed a verizon rom on a rogers (i think) canadian phone.
I went back to 4.1.1 and performed the free unlock. It read my sim fine, i made calls, connected to LTE, etc.
I flashed a 4.2.2 rom and now i cant get it to read any sim i put in to it (all the sims work and some were active)
imei under phone info matches the sticker
Can anyone recommend a way to completely restore this phone. Format the entire sd and start fresh?

Ok from that model# that shows sounds like someone or who ever you got it from, flashed a Verizon Rom on there?? Because that's there model#for there GN2.
Team win is the custom recovery, call TWRP!
Next you can just Odin back to stock and hopefully you'll b good to go.

I can't really figure out how to completely go back to stock and start fresh.
If i flash a new rom i'll still have all the junk on my internal SD

You'll just have to wipe your internal STORAGE. But just back up anything that you'll like to keep. If you use Odin back to stock then, there will be nothing on your phone!! Afterwards

Do i do that through recovery? Do i have to reflash my rom or anything?

Yes you do it thru recovery! If that's the one that you want to use(Rom) then no need to re flash anything.. but you will have to set it back up again. But I do recommend TWRP it's a lil easier to use to me personally! But I'm say use what your use to using! Then there's no problems lol.
Don't forget to grab (back up)what you want off the phone b4 you do this wipe:what:. Because your going to lose everything. I've just done this recently, meaning cleaning out my phone completely!

Yiu might want to look at tge possibility that the guy bought an i317 box for his verzion note 2.

I did a backup before i flashed this rom and now i cant restore it, it says that there are no files..

the imei behind the battery matches the box. I'm gonna say the guy flashed a verizon on this i317

Yes that's what I had said that he did from the first place. Because of the model#

[Q] Cleanrom 5.0 to Stock 4.3? (DN3 i317M)

hi ive been looking around and trying stuff for the past couple days and whatever i do i cant seem to get 4.3 on my note 2. (Rogers, SGH-i317M, 4.1.2) ive tried oneclick, and some otherstuff but idk what im doing wrong
can someone link me or help me out with the easiest way for getting 4.3 on my phone
ps. im trying to do this because i want to be ready for the new DN3 rom coming out, so also if anyone knows if updating isnt even the right move for me to take or knows how to get ready for that rom let me know please and thank you!

do i just flash the file the OP said to flash first in Odin under PDA and the ill have 4.3?

Give SN 4.3 a try it's smooth and stable for me no FC's, Wanam Xposed is the bomb! (Std version not the Note3 version) Not sure what carrier you're on but I can confirm that you CAN go back to 4.1.2 effortlessly by following steps listed in OP section.
I had no end of troubles installing with latest TWRP 2.6.3.1 installed it just does not seem to play well with 4.3 at this time. Philz CWM based recovery however solved all issues smoothly. Not a knock on TWRP I've used it on every device I own and still say it's the standard others aspire to!

I had the same problem. I used one click and Pilz recovery. TWRP was the issue.

[Q] Custom 4.3 Rom with all functions for gt-n7105

hey
some days ago I put cyanogenmod 10.2 on my loved note II
but I was a bit shocked, that nearly all functions did not work,
so I deleted it, now I'm searching again for a nice rom on android 4.3
which do you prefer?
(can't install my backup right now, think my folder structure is wrong -_-
used rom manager, and it can't find my backup >.> any ideas?)

Backing up and restoring is Done by Cwm, and DittoNote3 for GT-N7105 is really good, give it a try and don't forget to flash the mj5 bootloader for the wifi to work.

the rom deleted my IMEI number, so my simcard can not be mounted.
just went back to the backup i made with rom manager, but it didn't really fix it
any ideas?!

Alot of people have encountered your current problem and they fix it by restoring their efs.img backup but since you dont have one [i guess] , try researched z3x, it has solved alot of people's imei problems.

I found a folder called efs baclup with empty zip files, one dated yesterday, maybe helpful?

Same thing happened to me, what i did was download my original firmware from sam mobile and installed it. it solved the problem of no IMEI

Please back up ur efs now so you won't encounter such problem again , the back should be an .img file and sized about 20 mb.

Ok so you download DittoNote3 for GT-N7105 and Mj5 boot loader, flash the rom using custom recovery and see if the wifi works, and if it doesn't work (most likely) just flash the Mj5 bootloader through odin, then if you wanna flash a kernel, download the desired one and flash it using custom recovery, before doing all those stuff, make sure that you backed up your efs and your custom recovery back up.

I didn't know there was a bootloader file for the n7105, I thought the only way to get the bootloader was to flash stock 4.3 rom

I have been a lurker for a while now, have not contributed before as usually any problem i have had someone else has had and posted a solution, but i have ran into a problem i can't seem to find a solution for and while some have had similar problems there has been different causes.
So here is my problem.
I have the above mentioned GT-N7105t Note II. not locked to any carrier. I have tried a few roms and really like the DN3 but the Phone app FC's on me. this is what i have done so far.
1. Factory reset
2. Root device
3. instal through twrp the dn3 rom
4. used the 4.3 boot loader with the N7105 MK5 kernel.
5. phone boots up fine and every thing seemed to work.
6. updated to v3.2, again everything seemed fine, wifi, gps,camera, sms. but never tried the phone as i was receiving sms i thought it was all good.
7. loaded Xposed installer and the tweaks/files i like.
8. received a call and the phone app Fc'd
from then on i went back to square one and the phone app Fc's from the very first instal even straight after clean fresh instal.
would this be a Modem problem? cause i tryed reinstall from the stock 4.3 rom and still does the same. sms messages come through fine, but receive a call or try to use the phone app and it dc's and the actual connection stops to for a few seconds to about 30, i gather this is because the app crashes.
anyone have any ideas? i have like i said done a search but can't find anyone with exact same problem.

Which bootloader did you use ? The one in the op is for American variants only, it isn't for the n7105 anyway.

Not sure if this will help but give it a try, extract secphone from stock 4.3 and replace the one in your phone, set permission, reboot. I am no expert, but you can give it a try.

Thanks for advice. I gave up and went back to stock. Till 2 weeks ago. Now on DN3 +5 and everything is great except for gps. Doesn't work at all and all the fix advice on here doesn't work either.

Ok gps seems to be working for most people. Can you post in the main at&t thread what option you picked in aroma, any mods you have made/flashed, which bootloader, which kernel, which model/operator and where abouts in the world you are. If we can find something you have in common we can fix it

Think we have found the culprit and @Bajanman will be posting something later after he's finished testing it. Will you do me a favour and look in system/etc with a root explorer and tell me what the permissions are for your gps.conf file are

That would be great. I have tried everything I can think of. Was going to look at if maybe i needed to flash a modem.
My permissions are rw-r--r--
Would the Knox have anything to do with it as I have mine tripped. It didn't worry me at the time but if that could be a cause I'll kick myself.

Your on the right lines with modem. It looks like you have to have the modem to match your gps.conf. @Bajanman will be posting something later today. I can't replicate the issue so can't really fix it lol

Yeah following the thread he posted in. For some reason can't post in that thread myself. But the fix don't work for me I'm in Australia. Running stock kernel. Installed everything except the kids mode. The bill. Prop and Google drive.
As fare as mods/weaks only the usual SU/triangle away. Using twrp 2.7

The funny thing is the very first time after fresh ROM install and gps fix it works in that I can see satellite system but it takes ages to lock on . But then all of a sudden when I restart app all satellite system are gone. This is really sitting me off

Hi. I'm gonna try flashing modem and csc but can't find out how to extract from 4.3 or even 4.1 from stock FW to try to fix my GPS problem. And help or direction you could give me would be great. I have tryed searching xda but a little confused with some of the info so I thought I'd do it myself to make sure I got right files. I'm in Australia with undranded gt-n7105t.

do you have a stock 4.3 or 4.4 download for your device ? If you can extract the rom you can use this to extract the files you need from the system.
