[Q] About phone - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

Hi. Is that phone same like Galaxy S2 and one difference is that this phone are T-Mobile? Or it has 1.5 dual core processor not like Galaxy S2 with 1.2 dual core?

there are multiple model numbers for S2. This is http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s_ii_t989-4129.php . You can look up the specs of the other S2's on that site

To answer your questions, no they're not the quite the same. The main differences are the processors and GPUs. Also screen size (S2 = 4.3, T-Mobile S2 = 4.52)

Sorry to tell you, but what you have is not GT-i8150, AKA Galaxy Wonder!!!
You are probably on Bell Canada, and they have Galaxy Wonder, but it is really SAMSUNG EXHIBIT II 4G.......
Can you look at this thread, on another forum, I am dannymur there.
Hi ag2000ir
We are comparing different models, both branded as Galaxy W, but models are different
Bell Mobility Canada???
I think this is a real Scam, as it is described as Samsung Galaxy W
You got SGH-T679M.....1 GHz CPU, 3MP Camera.
I got GT-I8150.......1.4GHz CPU, 5MP Camera.
Very hard to find spec for SGH-T679M.
See this from Samsung Canada
PERFORMANCE
The speedy 1 GHz application processor delivers smooth video playback and gaming without hitches or delay. HSPA+ 14.4 Mbps support ensures up to two times faster data download speeds.

Unfortunately, even here nothing is said about the CPU difference!!!
See here for Passmark Scores for GT-I8150
And here for Passmark Scores for SGH-T679M
Is it a Canada thing, if so, I would be pretty mad, but is there a price differential, or is the higher spec model available?
EDIT, here is Comparison, from GSM Arena, your phone is the SAMSUNG EXHIBIT II 4G, as sold in the US, but they have branded your Canadian version as Galaxy W.........not nice IMHO

[Q] Canada GSM Pentaband M 919 Octacore ?

Canada GSM is showing a M 919 Pentaband but Octacore as a Factory Unlocked new Device at $ 399.
I thought the M 919 is exclusive to Tmobile / Metro PCS and therefore a quad core.
Does this Model exist ? Or spec error by GSM Canada ?
If it does exist it would be fully band compatible on all Bands with Metro and TMobile with just a new SIM ?
Also has better graphics chip, though not faster because it's never 8 cores simultaneous, where some new Samsungs (Alpha) can use 8 cores at once.
So what do the Devs and Power Users say on this ?
Thank You in advance.
Its like they combined the i9500 specs and M919/I9505 together. Ive only heard of one octacore. i9500 and of no others or variants.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5" Broadband LTE-A Worth buying?

Is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5" Wif-Fi( Exynos 5 Octa (5420) ) still worth buying at £330/$515 or is there something better? I will be coming from the Shield which scores a mighty 29989 on Futuremark, however the 8" screen is not quite big enough otherwise it would be perfect. I read in some reviews the Tab S(FM:13364) can be sluggish at times, although I might install CM if available which could help with performance.
My other question is where can I buy the more powerful versions of this tablet, there is the Exynos 7 Octa (5433) and I believe there is also a snapdragon version. The Exynos 5 Octa (5420) version being sold in the UK has the lowest performance of the bunch.....
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5" Broadband LTE-A
Exynos 7 Octa (5433)
Up to 1.9 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A57 and 1.3 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A53
Mali-T760
Futuremark score: 19850
Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5" Wif-Fi
Exynos 5 Octa (5420)
Up to 1.9 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A15 and 1.3 GHz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7
Mali-T628 MP6
Futuremark score: 13364
I've got the t805 which is the LTE version. It was a bit sluggish with touchwiz, but flies with CM12.1.
Support for the LTE modem is a bit sketchy in AOSP though, and there are more ROMs available for the Wi-Fi version.
PS. Screen is totally gorgeous.

Thanks, does your LTE have the Exynos 5 Octa (5420) chipset?
I've found the supercharged version of the Tab S 10.5" on sale in South Korea for £246/$384. This tablet is basically equivalent to the S2 except with a bigger & better screen. I've emailed them to see about shipping to the UK.

Where did you find them for that price? At those prices I would also be interested (I'm in Australia). Anyone else interested?
So far the best prices I've seen in South Korea for the 5433 Tab S were around USD600. The no-contract price on the Samsung South Korea website is 880,000 won (around USD750), and hasn't changed, so far, after the release of the S2. That's for the T805S, T805K and t805L versions, which I believe are the only ones with the Exynos 5433. The T805S was removed a few weeks ago from the Samsung South Korea website. The T805S/K/L versions are 10.5", 32GB, LTE-A, Exynos 5433, Bluetooth 4.1 (instead of 4.0), Titanium Bronze only.
In GFXBench, the 5433 gives around a 50% boost (T805S versus 5420). In Geekbench 3, the T805S (106 results) & T805K (13 results) single and multi-core is around 50-60% better on average than the T805 (2903) results, with the T805L (only 5 results) perhaps marginally less impressive, but not many tested. From the number of Geekbench results and from web searches, maybe there are many more T805S tablets floating around than the "K" & "L", even though Samsung's website now only sells the "K" & "L"..

Diffrences between every model's battery ? (i9300, i9300i, i9301i)

Just searching for a new battery online so I wondered if there are any size and compactibility differences between all S3 models ?
Same battery

Some S3 have battery cells from Korea, others from china. But it's the same capacity.
Differences
The standard S3 has a slightly faster CPU and GPU but has 0,5GB less RAM than the S3 Neo and supports only up to Android 4.3 except the LTE/4G version which has 2GB of RAM but the same CPU/GPU and offers Android 4.4
The S3 Neo also has two variants. The GT-I9300I is a dual sim variant of the S3 NEO and the GT-I9301I has a single micro SIM card slot.
