Been running this for a few hours now and absolutely no issues.

Does anyone know why my screen off doesn't work ? i set it at 15 seconds and it doesn't turn off for some reason

That wouldn't have anything to do with this kernel. You should probably ask the developer of the ROM you are running.

thanks for the reply hmmm thats strange cause I was using blackjelly rom and this never happened before.. hmm ill try reinstalling it and see what happens

Re: |KERNEL| DeviantKernel_02.1 ||3.0.60|| OC-1988mhz || 1|28
3 hours and so far I'm loving this kernel. No problems with the OC like I usually do this high (black screen never unlocks etc) and my battery life seems to be going strong. 2 out of 3 hours screen time and at 89% battery is much better than the kernel I came from. I'd be down to about 68~71% but this is very nice.

Thanks for the great Kernel. Been running it for a couple hours now and I really like it. Always love to try out new things from the developers. Running really smooth and very fast. I really like all the options for governors.
Currently using pegausq and zen. Awesome work.

My fault after reinstalling the kernel everything works great ~

May not look as pretty as sense but it uses a lot less memory. I came from a HTC sensation, i also have a one s as well. GS3 is by far the fastest and smoothest phone I've had regardless if it's aosp or touchwiz.

I can't and won't speak for the Deviant team. I'm just a tester, but as long as you don't kang, are respectful, and follow the rules i doubt it would cause issues. Been pretty quiet for the most part in this forum with the exception of one douche but that's been handled and is long over. Competition and making things better can never be a bad thing in my opinion.

Idk. It depends on who you listen to. If you flash a kernel, mess with your phone a bit before putting a fresh battery in, you get a pretty good idea what you're in for.

Not working on PA 3.00 freezes at boot animation left it for 15 minutes to be sure... Go backup
Re: |KERNEL| ForceKernel>>AOSP || 1920mhz ||3.0.61|| 2|12
I get the black screen at boot running carbon. Restored my backup of liquid rom to see if it would work there and it boots up. I can't figure out what's up on carbon though
General FYI: This Kernel "DOES" work w/ MOST AOSP Roms w/ The Exception of Carbon.
I Had in Running on PA 3. (Past The Boot Animation And Black Screen, Using Apps Etc..)

Installed the kernel on the latest release of AOKP MR1 build 3. Absolutely no problems and a noticeable increase in power management. The kernel that comes with build 3 isn't too great in power management. It would deep sleep OK but the scaling was ridiculous. 200 to 400 and straight to 1600mhz. This kernel does well in scaling and deep sleep. With the added bonus of additional governers and increased clock speed maximum. Very stable throughout the day. Good job as always. I ran Jedi Master for 2 months before sampling AOKP. Simply put, your stuff just works. Consistently. Some builds tend to deteriorate through time regardless of cache management but yours do well to maintain performance and stability.

Any plans on incorporating UV ?
BTW there are artifacts present when streaming a video.
Thanks
Nice kernel, runs good on cm10.1. Smooth as silk but man my bechmarks are considerably slower than a tw rom + saber kernel. You should make a kernel for the nexus 7.
Any chance you can disable the fsync on the next build?

I couldn't even get it to boot. I'm on carbon, maybe that's the culprit.
I'm sure you'll get to these features, but my requests would be the USB (and hopefully wireless) charging capabilities to be bumped up to 900mA or higher, and of course the ability to overclock GPU.
always good to see a new kernel by the jedi masta! :laugh:

This kernel is working great for me on Stock Jellybean 4.1.1 rooted and running MA6 Modem/Radio update
I was running AGAT 0.3.3 and then tried this one - very smooth and no issues so far - can't tell battery life yet
I couldn't get KToonsez kernel working on my phone - not sure why but Deviant seems to be very nice so far!
--------------------------
Edit: Ok yeah, I do see how when you turn the phone to the right or left (sideways) the display is upside down.
Sprint phone (not Verizon) so that might be the issue - only one I've seen. I usually use the phone upright anyway so not a big deal to me.
