Hi everyone, I'm experiencing a strange issue and could sure use some help to resolve it.
When I dial my voicemail (by holding 1 on the dial pad or dialing the number directly) the phone app hangs for a few seconds (black screen) and then resumes without any audio coming from the earpiece. All calls placed or received after the incident have no audio from the earpiece and the microphone no longer works (Callers cannot hear me and I cannot hear them) and rebooting the phone does not resolve this issue.
This doesn't always happen immediately but after a few reboots or dialing the voicemail a few times it will appear.
I have flashed CyanogenMod, Liquidsmooth, and AOKP and have experienced this problem on each of these roms. Every time I flash a rom I wipe the Cache,Dalvik, Recovery, and System. Here is some additional information about my device and other packages I am flashing:
Phone: Koodo SGH-T989D
Recovery: TWRP 2.3.1.1
GAPPS: gapps-jb-20120726-signed
4.2 Keyboard: LatinImeGoogle-jb-4.2-517167-signed
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Does anyone know how to resolve it?
Nothing? Nobody else has encountered this issue?

Hi All!
I´m using ILWT´s CM7 rom on my Desire Z. Great rom, but I wonder if anyone is experiencing the same issues I have.
Firstly: I cannot reject an incoming call. It just keeps ringing. Until it is out-timed Iguess. It says that the call is rejected but keeps ringing, and the phone locks until it´s quiet. If I hit the powerbutton on incoming call the same thing happens, but without the sound ringing. Now this may not be a rom issue, since I had this problem before I rooted and installed this rom. I kind of hoped that this would make it go away... Anyone have a solution?
Second: Everytime I reboot the phone alerts me in the notification bar telling me I have a number of unread messages. A number witch is increasing with every reboot. This issue is not that frustrating, but I wonder if there is a fix for it.
Thanks!
On my d2att if I lower the in call volume all the way down the volume is loud on the next call. On the 2nd call if I move the volume up two clicks the volume returns to a low setting?? This seems to have started with 4.4 roms, but I haven't tried loading something older to confirm this. Initially thought it was from dirty flashes but I've done a few clean since. I have tried slim and cm11 and had the same issue. I also tried updating the firmware from LK3 to MG2. Anybody else experience this or know a fix?
Thanks
Jason
Basically, if I boot up my phone and try to make a phone call (or immediately receive one), the call goes through no problem.
After setting aside the S2 for about 30 minutes, if I try to make a call or anything of the sort - the call connects but I don't hear dial tone, audio, etc. Just 0 sound. I can fix by rebooting.
I have tried flashing a few different ROMs to no avail. Currently downgraded to 4.3.1 AOKP Hercules (cyanogen kernel) from Beanstalk 4.4...
Messed around with settings and such multiple times. It's almost like the sound just shuts off after not touching the phone for a while. I can still use MMS, SMS, and data while this problem occurs. And people on the other end can't hear me either.
What might be the problem?
Update: So it appears to be an integral sound issue. For a few hours, data/service/calling works and WiFi doesn't. Then, all of a sudden, WiFi starts working and this audio bug occurs. I can use earphones to listen in on calls before the bug happens, but if I try to plug in headphones and make a call after the bug it just crashes the phone.

I think it may have something to do with your radio.
What is your Baseband version?
I'm using UVMC6

Hello!
I have an unusual problem with my Note 2
Few days ago I tried to make a call but I couldn't - I heard the Note's sound that the call started but I heard no ringing. When a person picks up, I don't hear them and they don't hear me. When I hang up and redial, phone loses reception completely.
I thought that it is maybe an issue with mic and speaker, however Viber calls work fine. It is not an issue with SIM, it works fine in other phones.
I am running completely unrooted, never touched stock ROM.
I tried a factory reset and it didn't help.
Could anyone help me what this is and how can I fix it? Thanks!

flash modem and see if sth changes
So this is a weird and sporadic issue and I first noticed it on Nougat but it has persisted since the upgrade to Oreo. Occasionally, I'll answer a call and my ringtone continues to play to the point where I need to either wait 10 - 15 sec for it to stop or I need to hang up and call the person back. Doesn't happen every call - hard to quantify how often it does happen - but enough to be annoying. I've gone to no ringtones / vibration only for phone calls due to the issue. Anyone else experience this? Any ideas?
