yeah bro i know that .. comon i am a tester of that rom i m in your team of wfsdev and you dont realize wierd.. nywys.. but i do think that my touch isnt that much responsive as it was and i think my radio should be updated
Forget about official updates if you have rooted device.
Wow, neither of you helped this guy, or even tried.
The only thing I would know to do is to find the original ruu for your carrier, flash that, and see where you stand. I'm pretty sure the updater only checks for firmware versions. NOT su installation. Could be wrong though...

I think I can help you but I have a question
What does boot.img and system.yaffs2.img contain?
Edit: no need to feel sad, the update won't release in India for some time.

see bro i explained you about the boot.img its only that much now in detail fr system.yaffs2.img (can be told as system.img too)
system.img is the system folder in your rom. when it is extracted it becomes the system folder..
if you go into system folder yyou will see these folders..
Code:
app
bin
customize
etc
fonts
framework
lip
lost+found
media
usr
xbin
and a file named build.prop
app:
Code:
it is a folder where all system apps are there..
you can paste a apk there to make it the system app
(the system apps dont get updates from market mostly
bin:
Code:
it hellps the icons to animate..
like if the animation has 9 images then to move those nine images
(that is to animate those nine images to become one animation)
the commands are given here in bin
(as far as i know i may be wrong about this)
customize:
Code:
all the customisations are here like your boot animation
(the default one not the customized one)
your default wall paper.. etc
etc:
Code:
all the permisions and etc are here
like the permisions of su , the bluetooth paired devices
your wifi passwords and all
fonts :
Code:
no explaination needed
framework:
Code:
it is a folder where all the jar files are located..
the jar files are used for all the work you do ..
like if you assign the MENU key with a Launcher then
tht assigning is saved into a jar
(this is never used with launchers its just an example)
if you wanna change the theme then you can edit
the framework-res.apk in it :D
lib:
Code:
all the lib like sound plugins this plugin that plugin
lost+found:
Code:
i dont know , its allways empty for me :(
donnt know what it is
media:
Code:
here you can paste the bootanimation.zip
of your own choice to have a
customized bootanimation.zip .
usr:
Code:
here all the icons are located ..
the icon of wifi bluetooth keyboard and all
xbin:
Code:
it is just a bin mostly used as a temp folder :D
the build.prop
Code:
its a file that is as like the updater script
but doesnt update nything but shows the information in the rom,
like what is the build of the rom
what version of the sense
what resolution you want
(the default is 120 but it is changable :D)
got things clear?
I got an idea. Go to HTC service centre and shed 500 re, rest they will do

[ROM] Stock ROM with light SENSE

Hi,
This ROM is based on the Arabic stock ROM:
RUU_Marvel_S_HTC_ARA_2.26.415.2_Radio_47.23e.35.30 38H_7.57.39.10M_release_262618_signed.exe
This ROM is fully English supported.
(It does not include the Arab KB anymore..)
I did some cleaning of the ROM removing unnecessary apps in order to get a lighter and faster HTC Stock ROM.
*****Backup your ROM before starting the process*****
This ROM includes the following features:
1. 129MB Free internal memory after installation.
2. Bubble like Messages app (from WildChild add-on)
3. Beats Audio
4. Tiny file manager (from WildChild add-on)
5. "Right to Left" typing correction
Installation:
1. You need "Clockworkmod Recovery" installed.
2. Download the attached rar file.
http://www.mediafire.com/?a2fx09ucnu3colb
3. Open it.
4. Copy the folder to you SD card "clockworkmod\backup"
5. Boot into "Recover"
6. Choose "restore and backup"
7. Choose "restore"
8. Choose "2012-07-07.12.19.51"
After restore process finished:
1. Choose one of English languages supported.
2. You're done.
Cheers,
Maoz.
Looks good. Congrats. :good:
good for people who need stock ROM without bloatware.
BTW I just noticed that its a cwm backup??? o_0
Y U NO MAKE A ZIP?
Well.. I don't know how to make a zip..
And I've found the backup to be the easiest way for someone who doesn't know how to make a zip..
is there Polish language support?
There is not...
"Thanks" for the answer.... !!!

Hi,
I'm not sure I totally understood what you've asked for..
But if you want to get back to the stock rom you can do one of the followings:
1. Follow the instructions above to install the rom in this post.
2. Go to the Wildfire General forum and search for the index thread.. There you'll find all the stock roms.
Plz specify the removed apps..

I'm sorry mate.. But I don't actually remember..
I kept all the important ones.. And removed apps like tweeter and stuff..

[TOOL][AROMA] ROM Cleaner v1.0 [BASIC]

ROM Cleaner- CLEAN YOUR PHONE OF BLOATWARE!
Just flash this is Recovery.
The options to clean the rom will be available
AIl roms dont have the same name for apps, etc.. so ROM Devs can change the names and upload one for their rom...
THIS IS VERY BASIC
I have tested this on SuPrimo.
OPTIONS:
Desense the Rom (NOVA OR APEX!)
Remove System Apps, Apps, Widgets etc..
Remove Sense skins
Remove the Sense Lockscreens
Remove more stuff and make roms faster
MORE!
TO DO
Inject Build.prop tweaks
Integration for different roms separately!
CREDITS:
Football for using parts of his updater-script and aroma-config
DOWNLOADS:
http://shubham.viperbravo.info/ROM_Cleaner_v1.0.zip
ehh? whts the difference between this and the desense tool? only thing is you can do it from the phone itself? :/
clear idea why this was done....

I suggest you flash a custom kernel say cake kernel (search it in dev section).
make a ext4 partition (1 GB primary partition) (Can be made with custom recovery)
download link2sd and mount partition
reboot.
I would like to join the question. I've got some kind of stock rooted ROM with Hebrew support. So I still want to use it. I've installed pimp my rom and add init.d support. What can I install now in order to use an EXT partition? I'm looking for something similar to S2E on CM.
Link2SD didn't seem to work up until now.
yes flashing custom kernal will create int.d ... make a second partition... and flash one of this whatever you want...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716124 ...
i tried sometime... it doesnt worked for me.. try your luck...i red sometime it will work... if it works tell me,,,,
but sure link2sd will work... try sukhjit321 post above if you want...
I've added init.d support with Pimp My Rom, partitioned and flashed zip with INT2EXT+ with no luck. What I'm missing here?

I may have missed this step, but anyway I've moved to CM7 so everything is working now with S2E.

[Q] Compact keyboard

Hallo
I dont know if i do something wrong when i falsh a custom rom
But i have i have try alot at the moment but all have only the complete keyboard, and i like the
compact with 3 letters in one.
How can i get this back on the custom roms. or is this impossible.
I think you are talking about the modded HTC keyboard......you can install it on any gingerbread rom,but it isn't compatible with android 4.0+
Hallo
Thats is what i was thinking. but where and how do i get this and how do i install it ?
you can get it on stock sense 2.3.3 or 2.3.5 if you like. go to settings>language and keyboard>keyboard types then change the type to phone

Search for HTC IME mod......or it should probably be in the Themes and Apps section
Hallo
I am using this custom rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1865976
but there is the HTC IME on the phone but it dont find the words when you writ even if the T9 is on,
it cannot spell right and i have try diffrent lanuage.
Custom roms might have a problem supporting the languages. So might as well try the stock rom which supports a lot of languages
