Re: [ROM] [4.2.1] [unofficial] BAKED blackbean-7 [1/28/13]
Thanks guys
So far everything is working great. If you love the inverted look, you'll love this ROM out of the box.
The only things not working right now: holding home to go to recent apps (new build with fix is about to be uploaded)
No torch option in power widgets but there is one in quick settings

Downloading now (darn you slow internet). I love inverted stuff, so I did not hesitate. Thanks Sniper! Not sure how you manage it all, but I sure apreciate it.
Edit: Guess I will wait for the update.

This ROM is really epic. (Heh.) Using it now. Really stable, haven't encountered any bugs as of yet. Will there be an option to disable the capacitive keys? On my phone they just phantom press like crazy.

Update to the second version if you haven't yet. It has more hardware key options. Enable the navbar and then enable custom actions in hardware keys and set them all to no action.

Note: Boot atleast one time before installing the Inverted Play Store. If you try to do it all in one go, you will not have a Play Store in your App Drawer. Took me a couple try's before I figured this out.

This is the initial release of BB7 for the d2vzw. The only know bugs as of now are wifi tethering doesn't work unless open and bluetooth will occasionally hang when turning off, just force close bluetooth sharing.
The downloads on the baked website still say bb6 because travp hasn't updated them but click on them you will find BB7.
Please report any bugs you find. I'm now maintaining the d2's so this will be the thread for official BAKED now.
Ignore the update to BB6 in OTA-Updater. That's wrong and will take you back. I need to update it.

Interestingly I have tested multiple 4.2.1 and totally blind about this feature. We live to learn and knowledge is power.
The back button tends to kill the app as if your were long pressing it - especially in the Baked Settings. This happens every time in the Bake Settings, it periodically does this in any other case.

I didn't see this mentioned on the AOKP site, and I didn't see it mentioned in this thread.
Does this ROM share any of the same issues as the CM10.1 for our device? I know that CM10.1 has some audio issues and some bluetooth issues (off the top of my head)
Just curious if anyone has encountered either of those with this ROM. Would love to make the jump to 4.2 with AOKP.

I'm guessing that after you flashed AOKP, you went to the store - installed TB, opened it - and your backed up apps were there?

Description
Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. I personally have a high standard when it comes to releases and this is why this project always meets the expectations of users. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

Silly question.
Does this have 'performance' in settings? (The one resembling cyanogenmods)
Thanks in advance. and yes, I know I could flash and see, but I just figured I'd ask prior to flashing.

Cool... Check the link from the post after the one you quoted... There are 6 different customized MMS apps listed. I used the black bean one, which was inverted. The AOKP one is there, as well.

Great ROM
I just wanted to say that I've tried several of the ROMs on this forum but so far I like the stability, GPS lock and battery as well if not better than all the others I've tried.
Thanks to the Dev!
