Hey guys I recently got a good deal on 2 Sprint Gnexs(both for $100) that I intended to flash to cricket. I successfully flashed the cricket prl to one of them but when I flashed the other one it no longer connects to the network. Even if I flash back the sprint prl it doesn't connect. No bars and it says searching for service. Does anybody know what can be wrong and possibly know how to fix it? Thanks in advance

hey im curious to know if the evo on boost uses the same prl as sprint users?
and if so can some one try to flash the verizon 0001.prl on their boost evo phone to see if it works...
im thinking about getting the samsung galaxy prevail by boost but i know they use sprints data and in my area all i have is 1x....
thanks guys!
It's a pain to flash back to a sprint rom just to update the prl so I'm going to assume some things here. Boost mobile users can't roam on verizon like sprint users can which tells me that using a verizon prl will not work. But maybe someone less lazy will try it.

On the verizion one have you tried dialing *228 and selecting option 1? As for a verizion prl for the cricket phone im not sure where to get one right off hand. But i can pull mine for you when i get near my pc.
Here ya go http://dinc.does-it.net/Mods/Verizion_PRL_52686.zip, just unzip it.
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, But my question is I have been trying to port my SGH-L900 to straight talk, because in my area verizon is the best, and sprint is just crap when it comes to data and signal strength. I have everything working according to this guide, but for some reason the only data service I get is 1x and not 3g, I don't know if it is because of something with my data profiles, HA or AAA, or my DMU10 key? Any help would be appreciated, and Thanks in advance.
Bump, Anyone?

Confused...Straight Talk runs off AT&T & T-Mobile networks, depending on which SIM you order...they don't have anything to do with Verizon. Soooo...maybe not possible to get the Sprint Note2 flashed to Straight Talk with 3G?
if you want to use Straight Talk I would just but the International Unlocked version of the note2.
I used a LG220c witch does run on the verizon network, I had my galaxy S2 running fine on verizon, steps were to use a samsung fascinate donor phone, clone the lg220c esn and meid to the fascinate, then clone the fascinate to the S2. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1473141
Hello, I recently picked up a Sprint S3 on craigslist that had been flashed to Cricket. I was interested in using to phone on Boost or Straight Talk.
I have been searching the internet for hours and I still haven't found the straightforward answer I was looking for.
First I made sure the IMEI numbers matched on the phone's software and physically on the back of the phone. Check.
Next, I used ##786# to restore phone back to Sprint specs.
Next, used DFS CDMA tool to update from Cricket PRL to Sprint PRL. (with the intentions of activating as a BYOP through the Straight Talk network, as the phone has a clean Sprint ESN. However, I guess BYOP through Straight Talk requires a SIM??)
So, the ultimate question.. is it REQUIRED to clone an ESN from a Straight Talk/Boost phone for me to activate my SPH-L710 on their network?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Sky

I'm not seeing anything on Verizon prl 59421 on XDA.
have you seen ? [GUIDE] How to manually change the PRL on the Sprint Galaxy S III by elfhater
Questions about this device should be asked in Sprint Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting or a related thread
I have seen it before but cdma workshop freezes up and the device disconnects from the com port until i unplug and plug it back in.
and would any mod who happened by please move this post to the right section. I thank thee in advance for doing so.

Its a sprint that i want to get better signal were im at. my wife has verizon phone that has a prl # 59421. i would copy the prl but idk how to configure a optimus zone into the same state as the samsung gs3 considering its an older model phone. she gets 3-4 bars sprint 0-1 bar.

Moved.
I personally use the 56xxx series PRL on my Sprint devices, it's a Corporate PRL and allows you to roam on Verizon 3G.
I'm not 100% sure if a Verizon PRL will work on a Sprint device, unless it's been modified in some way, but that's above my pay grade lol.
Here is also a good thread for finding different PRL's
