craigslist, ebay?
I have sold used phones on craigslist and ebay. Amazon has some refurbs too but not many Sprint.
Most of them end up on Craigslist or eBay anyway. Ebay if you don't want to meet the seller in some dark alley, Craigslist if you don't want to pay and wait for shipping.
Bummer I feel like the marketplace had the best deals

NOT c/l, maybe e-bay.
Beware you don't buy someone else' s junk.

Where to buy used android phones
This 4.7 Inch S4 Smartphone Android 4.2 13.0MP Camera is a very nice phone and it arrived super fast. It worked right out of the box with my T-Mobile sim card. It is the equivalent to the Galaxy S3 international version so it's a little different but it works well. The only thing is the screen is VERY fragile and a drop from a few inches without a case will crack and spread across whole screen. Phone still works with cracked screen, but it sometimes now will shut off when it has a full charge. It's the equivalent to the Galaxy S3 however cases don't fit bought from eBay, they are too tight and hole for volume control was on opposite side on the case than on the phone.

Thought I'd post this for people still wanting a GSM Galaxy Nexus. If I had not bought a Verizon one I would have bought the GSM version.

Daily Steals/Ice Monkey must have bought a bit stock of these things, they have them on sale every week.
Holy that is quite the deal they are offering. If I didnt have my nexus right now I would consider these deals they are offering.
THis is brand new? And is the site reputable? EDIT: Condition is new!
Anyone ever order from them?
Backstory: I had my NExus S stolen (pick pocketed on a crowded train. Didn't feel a thing. Was a very sad day) and I'm thinking of getting GN unlocked.
This may be the way...
Got my white SGN from ice monkey.
The seal was broken but nothing was missing. It comes with European round plugs and Polish instructions.
I just use one of my many ac to usb bricks to charge the phone. .
The are legit.

well the title of the item says: "UNLOCKED Samsung I9250 Galaxy Nexus 16GB (Black)" So I'm assuming there's no color choice. They're just re-using the stock photo from previous sales that had white/black options available.
Okay thanks. Gonna pull the trigger!

You won't be disappointed. I got mine delivered to me in a day. I live in philly and they ship from Brooklyn so that's why. But one day is insane. Also, my seal wasn't broken. European charger, but customer service was nice enough to mail me a US adapter for free.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...0312-Index-_-NoContractPhones-_-75176322-L09A
its from At&t , garnet red , 16 gb , it has a cracked screen. I am thinking about ordering the screen from ebay. The phone still works great.
How much can I get for it like this , and how much if I replace the screen?
A replacement screen will run you around $200.00. If you are patient enough you could try to replace just the glass which is around $20.00 and then sell it. If you want to sell it with the broken screen. You could get around $150.00.

$150??!?! that's crazy. that's half the price of an ipod touch, and a buddy of mine sold his iphone 4 for $300 recently... for a big crack i'd say $250-$300, for a minor crack i'd say $350

People can ask whatever they want for a damage phone. The thing is getting someone stupid enough to buy it. I paid $350.00 for my white gs3 in the box with all sealed accessories and a sgp case. Not a single scratch all around.

That's a good deal , I did the upgrade on Oct 1st. Picked up the Galaxy s3 for $150. Sold mg old broken EVO 4g for $40. Got an iPhone 4 26gb mint condition with box and accessories + 140 for the galaxy s3. Sold the iPhone for $250. And got a brand spanking new LTR for $270. So after all that crazy **** I managed to get an LTE for free. I'd say it was worth every call I made and every mile I traveled. And I did it all in one day. Found a buyer for the galaxy , then a buyer for the iPhone and then an LTE for sale.

I'm looking for the best way to sell my GS3 to get the GN2. I want to only spend like $200 max. S3 is 2 month old, and i have 1 extended battery and 2 additional regular batteries + OEM. Phone is in perfect condition. I see them going on ebay for $350, and i see the Note 2 going for $650. anyway i can reduce that price difference.
You could probably sell for about 400-500 if you throw in everything.

I sold my old atrix 4g on Amazon. I setup an Amazon Seller account. I got a pretty good price for it.
EBay dude. Price it at wherever you want and be patient.
Oh and if you haven't unlocked it yet, you should get it unlocked. Ask for the unlock code from ATT. Unlocked phone have a higher value.

Amazing how fast the price on these dropped.even the eBay process are down. I think the sgs3 has some of the best specs on the market even by today's standards

Is the screen scratch free? I find this is the most important thing in a used phone.
Take a lot of pictures and put the extra battery in the sale. Get it unlocked ($25, I think) and put it on eBay.
I just looked and didn't see a used S3 going for less than $360 and the auctions weren't over.
Ian
Sold my Slll by itself within a couple hours for$420 minus $30 or something to Amazon commission. Only thing about doing that is the wait to get your money from Amazon which is about two weeks or so.
I've had great luck selling devices on XDA's marketplace. Best part about it is there are no fees!
I'd try here first: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=476
Alright, Thank you everyone for the quick replies. I took one of your advices and I'm posting it on Swappa and trying my luck.
Screen has 2 hair line scratches each are an inch long or less. and they are legit hairline. so dont disturb the output, and you can only see them at a certain angle when the screen is off and cleaned. I've had moshi and militray shield screen protectors on it up untill last month. (took it off after halloween night.
PS: I listed for $450. with 2x hyper ion batteries, 1x extended battery, extended battery cover, and Unused and untested brand new samsung headphones that came with it. (i own bose, so i never opened those oem ones).

Craigslist and sell local only (no shipping) and cash only.
Ebay and Amazon are terrible IMO.
I'd wait for Google to iron out the problems with N4 before getting it.

There is no Galaxy Nexus 2. Nexus 4 is out. Google doesn't advertise it as LTE device but you do some settings and it gets LTE signal.

For me, Craigslist or Ebay.. But Craigslist is really really.. It's 50/50. I would rather pay more and just buy at a retail store or someyhing. So many people getting their phone's IMEI blocked after buying from CL and stuff. Try Swappa

+1 for swappa. I bought a TMobile 7.0+ and an i717 off there with no issues. I'm looking for a white collar collar job this fall when I finish working beach volleyball and I'll probably be buying a Note 2 off there.
I've bought a couple on local craigslist for $400 in like new condition. They do pop up from time to time. It seems the going rate in the Ventura area is $475. I stumbled across a Verizon one for $350. It had chewed up chrome bezel and battery door. I spent $25 on replacing them and got $500 for it. So don't be afraid of body damage as long as the glass is in good shape.

been looking and have found some a lil bit lower.. im actually looking at two right now
1st) is a Sprint Gnote2 already flashed to pageplus ( which is what i would do with it if i get it anyways) for $220
2nd) is Tmobile Gnote 2 clean imei for $300
cant decide
one hand one is cheaper and pageplus works off verizon towers which would give me good reception wherever i am but fastest data speed is 2mb down .. pageplus plan for $70 with 5gb data is the plan i would get on this...
the tmobile is more expensive , i would get the $70 plan have unlimited data but some complain about call quality and coverage and i use phone for work so not sure... tmobile data would obviously be alot faster and you could talk and surf and the same time which is not a requirement but a plus..
still trying to decide ...aaarrggghhh
Check Amazon every once in a while for deals through personal sellers. For ex. I got a brand new unopened and unlocked iPhone 5 for $480 shipped about 3 months after release just because of how cheap it was.. Used it for 3weeks or so and turned around and still sold it for 788 on ebay

I do agree that some people do crazy things on ebay especially.
I have seen crazy seller too. As in listing for used s3 starting at
899.00
But to each is his own.
I got my note2 on ebay for 435.00 includ shipping.
But I had to hunt for it almost 6 month.
I got my note 2 for tmobile from wirefly. com for 300 but had to sign a new contract

Anything on Craigslist/ Ebay/ Amazon for really cheap- Less than $400 or so, I would consider suspicious. Especially the ones that look really new. Some people claim on insurance and the one they are selling you is the one they probably got off of insurance by ripping someone else off. Ebay is a little better because they have buyer protection- but still, it's only 30 days and the original owner can report lost/stolen, claim insurance after 30 day period.
Bought a Note 2 for $500 brand new and a week later, got it blocked.
I have heard that if you meet with the seller at a Tmobile store, they'll be able to switch over the IMEI- but make sure it's not on a payment plan or you'll be screwed even if you switch over the IMEI..
There's a local shop that sells used phones and new one as well, the seller showed me a Samsung galaxy s3 for 280$, but it has no manufactures warranty the seller gave me 10 days warranty from the shop, from there I started having doubts about the phone, because he gave me only 10 days so maybe the phone is corrupt, but it is in excellent condition at the outside. The new one costs 400$, so I'll be saving 120$, the phones in my country are highly expensive. So it's either that phone or a new Samsung Galaxy s3 mini OR a Moto G. What do you recommend me?? What I basically want to know is if a second handed GS3 will face any problems?
You're taking a risk buying any used phone. I mean if you're buying it from a shop.. Hopefully it's got a clean esn etc. 280 seems a bit pricey for such an old phone though. No Craigslist in your country?

Nobody use craigslist around here, and yeah 280 is expensive but around here everything is expensive, I am not in a hurry buying a phone, but should I go for it or the S2 plus? or the Moto g?
Got my S3 on Amazon for $30 over six months ago. My point is there are deals out there all the time that should trump buying a used device.

I bought a clean ESN Sprint Galaxy S3 on eBay for $155 shipped in great condition. Hard to know what a good price is "around there" without knowing where "there" is.
The SIII Mini and the Moto G both have drawbacks IMO. Off the top of my head, reviews for the Mini suggest the display doesn't look so hot, and re: the Moto I wouldn't touch a phone with no SD slot (and you're aware it's limited to 3g, right?). If the GS III is fully working now, there's nothing that's going to creep out of nowhere unless you drop it.
I just started using this GS3 and I think it's a great great phone.
