I was wondering if the current lockscreen wallpaper is saved anywhere on the phone. I've cropped an image of mine perfectly when setting it and would like to save this cropped version as a back up (OCD, i know).

How do i change the picture on my lockscreen? For some reason its some pic of some grass and i would like to change it... Im running CM6 6.0
Theres a bug that makes the lockscreen background turn to grass when you change your wallpaper on cm6. Its quirky, sometimes it changes it while other times it doesn't. Simply reboot and your lockscreen with change to your current wallpaper. If you want to have a different lockscreen background than your wallpaper, download widget locker from the market. You can change the lock wallpaper and customize the sliders.
thanks for your responce ill download widgetlock screen and check that out
I can change my homescreen wallpaper and everything else fine, it just doesn't change my lockscreen wallpaper from the ugly default one. Is this a glitch or is there a way around it?
So you can't change it by going to Settings >Display >Screen Display or within gallery by going to the image you want and hitting Menu>Set As?
Mandado from my E4GT
yessss thank you, I was trying both the screen display and lockscreen display settings and neither would change it but the set as method worked
Did anyone else notice when you download an image (say a 1080p wallpaper) and try to set it as your lockscreen image it appears fuzzy and not as sharp as the actual picture/wallpaper? It works fine as a homescreen wallpaper, but shows up fuzzy/low quality as a lockscreen image. How can I get around this?
I've figured out that if I use Nova Launcher and have scrolling wallpaper, it needs to be 1280x1280.
But to use Multi Picture Live Wallpaper and have a different background on each homescreen, what size image is needed so that it isn't squashed, stretched or otherwise distorted?
Thanks
anyone knows how to use "no wallpaper" mode for the lockscreen? i think its better not put wallpaper on the lockscreen. it saves battery and also it's low profile when notifications pops-up
In Paint, create a blank (black) image and then use that as lockscreen wallpaper.
Here you go. I'm using this one.
