Does anyone have a static image of the live wallpaper Phase Beam?
I love the wallpaper but just don't want the live one because I want to save battery.
Thanks in advance.

create a homes screen with no apps or widgets then just take a screen shot of the live wallpaper and crap it when you go to set it as a static wallpaper

I'm not trying to insult your intelligence here, just trying to cover all of the bases....
When setting a wallpaper, are you touching and dragging the orange lines to make the box bigger?
Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk 2
If you want the wallpaper to fit perfectly you need an image that is 480x800. Then the entire image will fit the screen.

I'd like to start gathering wallpapers optimized for our screen. I've noticed a lot of wallpapers from zedge just don't fit that well and become distorted. Please post your favorites that fit well on our screen!

can't you crop them?
They get really pixelated whenever I crop them. That's what I'm trying to get away from

Doesn't seem to be that many good 720x1280 wallpapers out there. Does anyone have any links to good wallapers? I tried the Zedge app, and it seems to have a lot but not many good ones.
Where do you guys get your good ones?
i use picspeed//do a search in the play store
I'm currently using this one. This one is from zedge.

Great paper can be found at wpc
http://wallpaperscraft.com/all/downloads/mobile/720x1280
I hate to say, but if you use like iphone5 wallpaper like here http://www.ilikewallpaper.net/iPhone-5-wallpapers
No croping needed no over pixels

+++ This site is sick. Awesome selection of wallpapers to fix any resolution. Thanks for posting this!
You can also do an image search in Google restricted to 720 x 1280 and get a lot of results. Lots of screenshots but also some nice wallpapers. Here's two I liked after a quick search...
If anyone comes across Galaxy Note 2 boot screen paper please post.

I have had a few of them for a long time. They are not really iphone 5 wallpapers but more so just cropped to fit the iphone 5.

What I usually do is look for wallpapers that are BIGGER then the note 2 resolutions, then I use photoshop to crop/transform them in to exactly the right resolution for the note 2.
If I do it like this, the note 2 doesn't have to resize and the wallpaper will remain crisp.
Touchwiz doesnt support scrolling wallpapers anymore ( :crying: ) so that resolution would be 720x1280
If you use e.g. Apex Launcher, you can set a scrolling wallpaper. The resolution for that is 1440x1280.
To me it looks like the stock 'wallpaper setter' can do cropping just fine, but any form of resizing makes the imagequality worse.
I got some examples on my dropbox here
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/th4vko9w21sjhot/hQ1YAJNhsu
I was about to resize a few pictures I have and make them into scrolling wallpapers but can't find the correct resolution they need to be. Anyone know?
Thanks
I believe it's 1440x1280 somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
Ahh thank you!

The backgrounds hd app lets you set scrollable wallpapers.

Thanks for the suggestion but I didn't find an app with that name, the closest one was "Backgrounds HD Wallpapers" but that one does not let you load your own wallpapers, only the ones within the app. I want to be able to load my own wpp and that it scrolls. Thanks in advance!
This is the app i was referring to. Not sure if you can load your own, haven't tried that but the ones in the app let you choose scrollable like you said. Not sure why pic is so small.

Does anybody else use this app?
The feature I love most about this app is the auto wallpaper change. However, ever since I have upgraded to any 4.2.X ROM, I now get a message that pops up " Flikie Wallpapers HD has stopped" every time I unlock my phone.
Any suggestions or ideas?
I haven't used Flikie, but if you're mainly concerned about a wallpaper changer check out Multipicture Live Wallpaper:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.tamanegi.wallpaper.multipicture
It has a ton of options to match your needs.

Thank you, but Multipicture isn't what I'm looking for at this time. It is great to know about, thank you.
All wallpapers I download from zedge be oversized and doesn't show the whole wallpaper. Any apps or suggestions? Thank you.

that's because if you're using the default touchwiz launcher it doesn't scroll wallpapers.
if you want the whole picture the free way is to go to paint and resize and add black bars above and below..that will make the whole thing visible
or just crop on phone
or just live with default touchwiz crop
