How to increase charging rate - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II

Hello,
Exist any way or mod to increase the charging rate like in the UNEAK kernel? i hope will yes

FPS Cap, Custom Kernels, and it's effects on battery life.

Just a quick question, and I'm sorry if this is elementary, but do the custom kernels that up the FPS cap on the EVO effect battery life? I'm guessing that one of two things are happening:
a) The cap is based somehow on the CPU/GPU before output and upping the cap will put more load on the CPU/GPU, lowering battery life.
b) The cap is based on something dealing with the output and upping the cap will have minimal or no effect on the battery life.
Which ever way, I'd just like to know before diving in.

Charging time increases after flashing custom kernel

Hi All
Sorry for the noob question but I recently switched to perseus kernel and the charging time seems to have doubled! Takes about 6 hrs for a full charge. Changed to Redpill, still took 6 hrs. The changed to stock and it came down to 2.5 hours.
I like perseus but how do I decrease the charging time. 6 hours is killing me!
Install galaxychargingcurrent and check your current with perseus kernel if it shows low value then you can change the current value in stweaks app in power menu

Thanks for the reply, but how do I know what is low and what is the optimum? IS there any benchmark for this?

You should have at least 1700mA optimal is 1800mA
If you connect your charger and open the current app you will see the value
Thanks. But its charging at 590 MA. How can I change it to charge faster?

Use stweaks that you get from persues kernel open stweaks app and under power menu you can change the current

[Q] [R][Req] Increase inductive/wireless charging governor rate (Stock Kernel)

One of the most popular physical mods is enabling inductive charging. Most models contain the pins and the ones that don't can be modified to connect them. But, as this was never officially supported, Samsung never fine tuned the feature for the Note II. The kernel governs the mA current supplied by the coil to around 600mA if what is supplied is above that limit. I believe this was the setting from the S3 or it might even be slightly lower. This creates charge times up to 12 hours.
The stock wall charger for the Note II is 2A. Surely the battery can safely support raising the rate to around 900mA-1A. There is a custom kernel with the rates raised for this purpose, but the rest of it is also highly modified with features I do not want. For the sake of stability, this is the only performance mod I wish.
This was originally a request for the CleanRom kernel (it uses a minimal patched stock kernel) Scott liked the idea, but he doesn't do kernels and suggested I post the request here.

Charging currents modification via stweaks

I have installed perseus kernel and stweaks. Is it safe to increase Dcp and mains ac input current and dcp and mains ac charge current to 2000 mA?

Theoretically it is safe upto 2100mah. But Samsung must have thought something while setting it to 1700mah.

Samsung in his infinite knowledge must have also thought of something when it declared rooting as "illegal"
But we know better!
So should i increase it?

Upto you. I don't think it needs any increase. As I said theoretically upto 2100mah should be alright.

So if I increase the phone wont go kaput!?
Will the phone charge faster?

Well the charging speed should increase.
The charging Current and battery life(I mean hardware, life of the battery) are theoretically indirectly proportional. I mean to say is chances are your battery could die faster then it should have.

Change charging current speed

Hi, I have been looking for a way to set the charging rate for Nexus 5X device. I came to know that charging rate can be set working in kernel. But, I could not find out the detailed process for the same.
Please let me know if anyone has experience working on changing charging current rate for Nexus devices. I am also fine to go for any custom kernel that allow to change charging current rate.
Thanks in advance
