Hey!
im having isssue with my cpu freq steps. this is what i found in 5 hrs with screen Off:
CPU FREQ 200 & 800 Spent time about 2 hrs.
Others CPU FREQ Spent time about 45 min.
Deep idle or Idle status spent the rest of time.
Is this should be normal? bcse i think thats drain the battery. i aklready changed the governor but stills happening. any help plis?
Thanks
U have a app or media that is keeping the phone from a deep sleep. You have to use an battery checker type app to what it keeping it up. Something like battery monitor.

Been trying to improve my battery life and I found this in my battery stats:
Cell standby: 41% (7% of time without a signal)
Phone idle: 35%
Android system: 10%
com.cooliris.media: 6% (Used to be default gallery, but I unintalled it)
Dialer: 6%
Display 3%
Is it normal for cell standby and phone idle to take up so much of the battery?
Yes. Cell takes up a lot of battery, especially if you are getting a low signal

If you use an app to reduce your minimum cpu mhz, the idle should take a bit less of battery

I already underclock my CPU. from 1GHz to 900Mhz, then at 30% battery life, goes down to 768Mhz, at 10% it only goes at 368Mhz.
And when the screen is off, it only goes at 245Mhz.

Are you using an app to get those results?
i work in an area where the signal coverage is really bad and when i leave with full battery in the morning, i get home even with ~50% only. the battery is basically killed just because it keeps searching for a network
I recently installed Cyanogen Mod 9 on my HTC Wildfire S but the battery only seems to last for 2 hours and 30 mins.
Any Suggestions?
Well that's quite abnormal. its not that bad.
battery life depends on various factors: Your charging level, Processor clocks and governers.
Also is your deep sleep working?
Install CPU Spy and see if its using the Deep Sleep state. You have to leave your phone on idle for a few minutes, without it on charge.
If my bluetooth is on my deep sleep doesn't work, even though this is supposed to be fixed.
Hey,
Since last 4 days, my phone has been acting weird. Its constantly hot (40 C) and i am getting less than average battery life about 2 hrs screen on time from the usual 5. My max voltage is 4.2v but the minimum is 3.519v. I read somewhere 3.8 is the minimum voltage required. So is my battery due for a replacement or is it all in my head?
I did upload a screenshot on my weird voltage fluctuations. And what are the max and min voltages of our battery?
Thanks for helping me pot..
Any one?
usual 5hour screen on time huh? thats a lot
i get 3 hour screen on time with 1 hour gaming and my battery gets to 41c even when browsing so i think its normal( my hox has been bought about two weeks ago)
The battery of my phone does not have a good autonomy. of you feel the same?
24 hours without recharging
(5-6 hours display on)
it normal
It is not excellent, but it's okay.
It will never last two days as sony promises.
I've got like 4h 20minuts max screen on time. Now I change the cpu governor to ondemand and set cpu clocks to 1625mhz max becouse my phone likes to get little warm. Now I get cold phone, no performance drop so far. Now need test battery life.
Btw. My lastest phone (HTC m7) was getting Max 2h 30minutes sot so the 4h+ is brilliant for me.
[edit] I underclocked it to 806mhz and still working smooth... I think it's not working like it should :/
Can you guys list your battery voltages and temperatures of your exynos and battery during use and idle for me so I can see what the hell is wrong with my phone. You can use AIDA64 if you don't already have an app you like.
I left my phone in a very moist very hot bag by the pool. Afterwards for about a day and a half it wouldn't turn on. Then it now uses about 1 percent of the battery every 1 to 2 minutes. Maybe 5 minutes per percent while idle.
I'm trying to pinpoint whether the soc is damaged or whether I can just replace the battery. Thank you guys in advance.
So how about:
Temperature of exynos and battery during use while charging.
Temperature of battery and exynos idle
Voltage of battery at 100 percent
Voltage of battery at less than 3 percent
