Yesterday I received a notification that 1 update is available from samsung apps, i went into my page to find which application has an update,
but I can't find which application to update. I tried clicking all my installed apps but still the notification remains. Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance......
I had the same issue. Even clearing cache didn't help. Fortunately for only having 3 apps installed, I just updated/installed all 3 and it finally went away.
Their app is lacking in usability. Such as telling you an app is to be updated but not telling you which, plus the loops of signing in repeatedly.

Hey guys,
I have a HTC Desire, rooted with djdroid v1.2 on it. I am having two problems.
1. Notifications don't disappear from the notification area if i read the messages through the text message app (this applies for missed calls, emails, etc) until i go into the notification area and clear it. Is there any way to fix this or is it a known bug for djdroid1.2?
2. I cant seem to update maps, it keeps on saying failing. Ive cleared data, cleared cache, and force stopped it but it still says update unsuccessful. Other updates seem to work fine except for maps.
Thanks for any replys guys.
Others say the Google Maps update is failing, seems you have to either rebake with it in or remove it using adb and get it from the Market as a new install. Stock ROMs are fine, though - I updated last night with no issues

you have to delete it using adb, just mount /system/ and then use the command rm /system/app/Maps.apk
tried that and still didn't work, any advice its wrecking my head
I can't seem to dl any paid apps at the moment from either my SGSII or my Galaxy Nexus. I can dl free apps OK but get "an error occurred. Please try again" message on any paid app.
I was able to dl from the internet but not from the market app itself and I have never had issues before.
Anyone else having an issue like this today? I'm in Canada by the way on Rogers and always have been able to dl paid apps...
I have cleared the cache and wiped the app data and rebooted each device but still get this error when trying to do paid apps...
Bump... Anyone?
I have the EXACT same issue. I've had a ticket open with Google support for 8 days now... and they have failed to get back to me about much of anything...

May I ask what country youre in? You have the SAME issue as me? Can you install free apps but just not the PAID apps?
I now seem to not be getting push notifications from Gmail and things as of this morning anymore either and again... This affects BOTH my GNEX and my SGSII so I know its NOT device related...
Ive read some other threads on Market Issues that are SOMEWHAT the same but not exactly and followed their instructions to fix the issue such as... Deleting my Google account and re adding it, Deleting my credit card and re adding it, etc and nothing has worked...
I mut have deleted the app cache and data like 30 times on EACH device and rebooted like 30 times on each device and still I get the same error...
FRUSTRATING!!!
At least I know its not JUST ME and if I had to GUESS.. Id say that this issue has to do with the switch from Google Checkout to Google Wallet...
*EDIT* My push notifications from Gmail have returned but the Market Error still exists!!! GRRRRR!!!
So... I got a reply from Android today and they advised that I uninstall all market updates to rectify this issue. I did so on my SGSII and rebooted my phone and low and behold.... IT FIXED THE ISSUE... I will try it on my Nexus too if I need to...
EDIT - It did not fix the issue completely as I still get this error but after a couple trys it will let me in to purchase apps ONLY on my SGSII...
Ok so... I did what they said and uninstalled the market updates from my SGSII and it seems to have worked... well... kind of...
I still get the error but now if i try it like 3 times or so it finally lets me purchase paid apps BUT...
I went to do this on my GNEX but since market v3.4.4 CAME with the device there is NO update(s) to uninstall and as such I still CANT purchase paid apps from my GNEX market app... :-(
For ANYONE who is having the same issues as I am, keep an eye on this thread because I wont stop until I figure this out...
Ok, so... I got another email from the help desk telling me to factory reset my device(s) and that should fix it (even though this is CLEARLY NOT device related) so I backed up my items from my GNEX ONLY (as I seem to now have a 75% properly functioning market now on my SGSII as I mentioned in my previous post and dont wanna mess with it) and factory reset and it STILL did not work!!!
I then tried another tip I found here and cleared the cache from the "download manager" app AND again from the Market and THAT did NOT work either!!!
This is getting VERY upsetting!!!
Again... For ANYONE who is having issues like this or similar please keep an eye here as I will continue to post any progress.
I fixed it by deleting all updates to market in Settings/Applications/Manage?Market app. Google Talk could then work as well.
Have the exact same problem now.
Not sure what the issue is!
Have done all the "regular" fixes.
Drives me nuts tbh!
Running AOKP B27, stock Kernel.
Did anyone ever get this fixed? I'm having the same issue on multiple ROMS...currently running Codename Android 1.4.0 I can download free ones no problem but not paid apps....
I'm running AOKP B27 with Trinity Kernel and just bought Poweramp off the market a couple hours ago for $1.99 (48 hour special)...
I had the same problem. I tried all the other poosible solutions, the " Settings > aplication > all > Google Services Framework and force stop, clear cache then reboot your phone." solution did it for me
Guys, Ive seen the other posts, about this issue, and want to know a few things.
First off I am new here, and new to phone programming and general security issues on them as well. So if I jack this up, my bad.
I have a Galaxy Note 2 AT&T SGH-I317 stock (not rooted)
Its running
android 4.1.2 kernel vers 3.0.31
build JZO54K.I317UCAMC3
(before you start with check the other posts, I have tried the reset "power, home and volume button" and chose number 4 to clear all partition cache, also ran in safe mode to see if it was a downloaded app, still didn't work) I also want to know what is causing it, before I do the "applications manager reset all apps" Got a lot of custom settings and items blocked. Don't want to redo all of it.
So as of last night I was disabling some running process in the application manager. I did it by checking on them before. But, its not like I had the OFFICIAL Droid guide to disabling stuff on your Note2. That being said I take care to do it the best I can. Before I disabled each one, I cleared the cache of each one (if it was a option) and unchecked Show notifications. Force stopped them, and disabled each one.
Starting around 2pm CST the next day, my phone started to lock up, messenger will not work, phone app crashes after every call. But I was using it all morning on twitter, and instagram with no issues. And various other will not load etc. What could cause this? and is there a official list of applications for note2 with what they do and what they control.
Short list of disabled applications from last night are
Market Feedback Agent
LogsProvider
Google Play services, and Play store.
Google Partner Setup
DRM Protected Content Storage
DioDict3services (not sure about this one)
com.google.andriod.voicesearch
com.android.providers.partnerbookmarks
Search Applications Provider, (found on android.forms to be ok to disabled)
TopicWall
Thank y'all in advanced.

Hey all,
I'm currently having issues with a few apps where the notifications don't appear :S
I've contacted the app support, They don't know.
I've contacted Google support, They don't know.
My question is: Have I messed something up internally? I've tried using returning to Stock completely(Both 4.3.* and 4.4)(No custom recovery etc) using Wugfresh, So that rules out the Custom ROM causing problems(I think).
Apps I've noticed missing notifications: Hay Day(Game, VERY new to my account - Only been playing for a few days), ON Air TV Guide(These just randomly stopped coming through to me).
I don't use any sort of task killer, I've tried leaving the applications in my Recent menu.
They are enabled in the App settings to receive Notifications.
I'm out of ideas and Google support didn't help.
Anyone know of this problem or a fix?
Regards,
J93.
Hello Guys,
I have messed up my zenfone 2 and continously getting this com.google.process.gapps has stopped. I am using ZE551
So whats the best way out? I am rooted and xposed installed.
Maybe a solution
Hey man (or ma'am ),
I had this too today (that's how I found your question). I have an Asus Zenfone4.
I had this problem on-off for the last 2 days, and I'll be careful in saying I fixed it.
go to Settings -> Apps -> swipe to "All" and find google services framework.
Now in the app details force stop the app and clear the cache, for me it asked after a few seconds some prompting questions, something about access to location from Google. Since then (fingers crossed) no troubles.
I also tried the resetting all apps and all those other advices and it didn't work, and this did the trick for me.
