Hi,
On my note2, when i install or update any app..my phone speaks "app xyz successfully installed/updated".
Also, at the middle of the night, when my phone is charged, it wakes me up saying "battery 100% charged".
It gets really bugging and embarassing in the office.
I have already disabled talkback and driving mode.
Still it persists.
Please help !!
Not sure if this is the reason, but see if driving mode is turned on
Edit - sorry....didn't read the final sentence.

Hello,
I recently installed the latest update for the app : NoLed
This new update is stating it should be able to show the battery % when charging up.
Now i cant seem to figure out how to make this work. i checked the box in the settings menu to show the battery level when charging and rebooted my phone.
Still nothing happening when i plug it onto the power.
I hope someone is able to help me out with this.
Greetings,
Nvm they just fixed it with an update.

Btw can the app show notifications for the app Msn Talk... Sorry for my use of language xD if its bad
I started getting a voice notification today for inbound sms on the stock messaging app. I have never received these before and cannot find a setting to turn it off. My phone is on vibrate. Anyone know how I stop this loud ass voice from announcing to everyone that I just received a message?
Anyone? Bueller?
GAH!!! It just happened again. How am I the only one with this issue???
I noticed that in voice command there is an option for announcing your messages in driving mode. Is it possible that this is the cause of the problem? Is that app showing up as running in task manager?

No it's not showing in task manager.
I tried looking in the various setting for "call settings", "sound", "voice input and output", and "dock setting" and can't find anything. There are also no settings listed in the messenger menu.
Same exact thing happened to me 4 or 5 days ago. Out of nowhere it just started yelling who was calling or texting me and it was very annoying.
How I fixed it: settings>voice input and output>text-to-speech settings>uncheck driving mode.
The only thing I can figure is somehow after connecting my phone to my car to play music somehow this driving mode setting got stuck on. But since turning it off I'm back to normal.

I didn't do anything new with my phone for a day or two, just the usual usage. Then out of nowhere when I reboot my phone, I would get voice outputs in Touchwiz. For example, if I'm at the homescreen and I pinch the screen to show the screen previews, the phone would say something like "Homescreen page edit" and then when I choose a homescreen it would say "homescreen page 407" or something. It also says "folder open/ folder close" whenever I open or close a folder. It's rather annoying, how do I turn it off?
Settings, accessibility and look for talk back and turn it off. I believe your talk back service is on which will voice everything you're doing

That's what I hoped but it was off the whole time..
Lol I just noticed I have the same issue. It only happens on home screen when I pinch out. Only happens then though. Probably has something to do with light flow as it didn't happen until i put it on. Does yours open happen when on home screen and pinch out to see all screens ?

Yep, Light Flow is known to cause this. If you've installed it, then that's the culprit. I believe there's a solution somewhere, but do not recall what it is.
Now that you mention it, that did only start happening when I installed Light Flow. I'll see if I can figure out how to disable it through the app and report back, thanks for the help.

I removed Light Flow from the accessibility options and it no longer happens. However, I think the app needs to be in there to work properly. We will see. Otherwise I'll just deal with the issue for now

Have you downloaded any app? Or something that is putting you in driv8ng mode?
And do not open duplicate threads

Just in case someone else runs into this issue.
My alarm (default app) would get snoozed immideately after going off, thus becoming useless.
I have discovered that if I disable the "OK Google" detection from any screen option, the alarm functions fine.
Hope it helps someone not to miss any important appointments.
The ok google from any screen feature also kills the video camera. You get a "can not record while on a call" warning.

Glad I happened to see this post ... For the past week I've been trying to figure out what was automatically dismissing my alarm ... Uninstalled and reinstalled so many apps and xposed modules and never figured it out. Thanks!

Gald I could help. Also, at least I know that it's not only happening on my phone.
I wonder if the bug has to be submitted to Google or LG?

Running in to a similar issue. But instead of the alarm snoozing. I get a pop up message stating "Alarm/Clock has stopped working" and then a flashing notification light. The problem started just this week. I uninstalled the latest Google update and also turned off OK Google" detection from any screen, but that doesn't seem to have had any impact. Odd that I've had no problems with Google Now up until this past Tuesday.

I was unable to replicate your issue. I only get the "Snoozed" notification.
However, I moved to Timely alarm app since and it works just fine.
Thank you for the response. I was hoping I'd be able to figure out what's the issue is and continue to use the stock app. But looks like I'll have look into a third-party app.
Thanks again.

The recent Google Search update seems to have fixed my issue.
