Autobrightnes always makes very bright, even in darkness it doesn't decrease backlight less than ~30%.
Antutu near 8300 - standard result.
Does this roma have ability to overclocking? I didn't found.
Absence of file manager - this is sad...
Other seemed to be not bad.

Very nice UI and everything, but the lack of customization is a deal breaker for me ... if you want an easy going rom, that one is for you, but not for me.
Well 3 BSOD's in the last 24 hrs plus battery drain like crazy... 10% per hour on idle. Too bad I really like this ROM.

What do you think is the best ics rom for the kindle fire right now? In terms of stability and with features.

I recommend gedeROM and Hashcode's rom. They are both very good rooms and have lots of features. Energy rom is also good but I had Wi-Fi issues with it.

It depends on his moods. Just try them all. Anyway, flashing is somehow kind of fun.

I checked out ReLoaded + Hash's kernel as my first ICS rom... never found a reason to try any others as of yet.
I know that this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find any that are recent.
Could someone suggest me toward a good ROM (ICS will be nice, but I couldn't find a stable one.) for games?

Why not? HW acceleration is working now, and ICS is good compatible.
Try ged's.

I tried Gede, and while everything is great, there is sound drop issue when playing certain games.

EnergyROM vs. gedeROM vs. ReloadedROM?
Which are you using? I'm trying to figure out which is the best currently out, the most stable and with the most up to date features? Just trying to get an idea of what each ROM has that makes it different from the other.
I have tried all of those and I'd have to say...

I'm using gedeROM. I haven't tried Reloaded ROM but between gedeROM and Energy, gedeROM has more features.

I like Energy the best.
i like gede because of the lockscreen shortcuts and the theme option, reloaded is really stable, i had issues with energy so i dont run it. i couldnt get gederom to recognize my home network but when i woke up this morning it was connected so i am going to be sticking with the gederom.

gedeROM has been awesome for me. I've been using it on three different Kindle Fires (Kindles Fire?) for the last few weeks and they have been extremely stable.
Yes, gedeROM seems to be my daily ROM for the foreseeable future, really no bugs and it works well. I might try that AOKP ROM see what it's all about?
Out of those three, gedeROM is my favorite. My current choice is twa_priv's ROM based on the SGT7.
Sorry for off topic. But I vote for stock CM9 or stock AOKP.

Not at all off topic always fair game to introduce a new Challenger into the mix!
My vote is for gedeRom though. After playing with a few over the last couple of months its been the most solid performer on my Kindle Fire.

I have tried Energy, Reloaded, and now gedeROM -- I have stuck with gede. To be fair, both Energy and Reloaded were tested by me before the new 3.0 kernel was out. NO updates for weeks on end caused me to give up on Energy.
gedeROM runs pretty darn good for me (1.35), to the point where I haven't even tried the last two updates YET.
Haven't tried energy but ran reloaded for a month and I switched to gede. More features. Reloaded ran great but a few more bugs than gede.

Gederom! Really want to try sgt7 though, it looks awesome. If I wasn't so comfy with my current rom, I'd switch.

I really love the stock look of my GS3 (t-999V) but I need a ROM with good battery life and couple of improvements tweaks. No themes at all ! Looking for smooth and stable daily use !

FrostyJB's battery life is wayy better than stock, you'll notice it right away...and after like 2 or 3 full charging cycles you'll have even better battery life.

I agree I tried a lot of other roms but frosty job takes the cake man. On it I got close to 34 hours on battery with 5 hours screen time.

Wow 34 hours battery life with 5 hours screen time! I'm a heavy user and if I could get more than 16 hours I'm gonna be the happiest man on the earth !!!:angel:
I just downloaded the latest frosty ROM and I really like the way it look like a stock ROM ! It's exacly what I wanted !!
Wicked (ROM) + Trinity(KERNEL) = awsomeness

I'm looking for a stock Rom that doesn't have touchwiz skinning....does something like that even exist or do I have to stick with CM10. I really want the Samsung camera app and better battery life.

If you want Samsung Cam then you're stuck with Touchwiz. Just use a different launcher

well i didn't like any vercions of the CM for the GS3 i just don't like how it felt on my devise but again i am a fan of touch wiz base roms!

My favorite for TW is Wicked sensations is beautiful, stable, hundreds of mods, and dev and community support can not be matched anywhere on xda.
My favorite on 4.2.2 is Eclipse official build. This rom is blazing fast, stable and with the built in theme chooser you have a ton of theming options. The battery run time and screen time surpasses every Rom I ever used on the S3. Averaging 3.5 hour screen time with battery to spare tacked on with 15 hours. Email, gmail Twitter, weather, games, YouTube all in use. The Rom is underrated by far but it's a solid gem.
