Samsung posting key lime pie 5.0 on Facebook... - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

I come on my phone and finds this posted on the Facebook. Lol and I'm waiting on the official 4.1.2
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app

Considering that's not a official Samsung Facebook page, I'd take that with a gain of salt and a shot of tequila.
Sent from a planet far far away.

And also the fact that every picture that Google makes for android releases they use an actual plastic android not a graphical one
The prey is just simply another predator

.... is lynn marie 20?

We dont know, and more then likely Samsung and Tmobile has no clue when its going to drop. People who give you a month or date are guessing and or going off rumors like the person who posted above me.

Seriously, you will have to TRY to not know about it. Just be patient. EXPECT it not to come out till December or January!
Then you can be really happy if it comes before then!
Besides there is nothing wrong with ics. I just dont understand why so many people get so frustrated and unhappy because an update isnt out right here right now!

JB is amazing so far.. way faster, home button works much quicker even with s voice linked to it, love the next notification menu, and all of that.. even made our benchmark much much higher
JB is nice. It would also be nice if people started removing the sigs from Tapatalk :/
I agree im so happy all around. 1st of all this phone was flat out amazing out the box. I love the way this phone was marketed...all of the support and it seems like every accessory company is making things for this phone. Heard about this today and definitely caught my eye. Still at least a year from a factory device but I did see that they will be planning on releasing this on the nexus and seeing as the s3 is one of the largest selling devices I can see the international version receiving this and hopefully our device
Will be keeping an eye on the development of this for sure.

Looks amazing, but seems sort of redundant. Why not just team with Google and implement this as a redesign for Android? Or implement it in a similar fashion to CM10.

My honest opinion we should skip 4. x anything... and demand 5.0.. And android 4.2 on my nexus 7 was not a nice thing...
Stick with what works.. not whats cutting edge..

I agree with sticking with what works but a lot of the people around here that can't do dev work truly believe that the newest is always the best, and that's not always the case. Android 5.0 may be just around the corner, who really knows considering 4.3 was just released for the Nexus line and in development for the S3, S4 and Note 3 (and possibly the Note 2).
ICS was a big step up from GB, and JB over ICS. History has proven the the next big version is not just better but A LOT better. But I have to ask, what could or would you possibly change to make Android that much better to warrant a major change over Jelly Bean?

Basically the stuff ive read from random sources online, its gonna be more aesthetic stuff but will also cut down on cpu usage. Making it more streamlined and less power hungry, meaning the newer smart phones will run smooth as silk and battery drain will be minimal. Obviously some features will be added, but i didnt read of anything revolutionary. Hopefully theyre keeping that aspect under a tight seal. I feel like theyre going to increase interaction with multiple devices now. Integration of all peripheral devices seems like the next "big thing".

Well, this would mean that Key Lime is never going to be a thing. Next up would be a dessert/treat that starts with an "L"
Key Lime Pie was actually KitKat which isn't 5.0, but 4.4
Ultimately I don't think it really affects us at all, rumors were just off slightly.

I bet a lot of devs are understandably crying themselves to sleep right now. I know a release date is probably a long ways off but most roms haven't even caught up to 4.3 yet and without a doubt this merge is going to be a lot more substantial (stressful) than the last. :/

Yeah, I feel like it's somewhat of a sell-out as well. Google seems to be going in an unpleasant (and a bit Apple-ish at times) direction with Android, and it's kind of worrying me. Things such as doing away with the tablet UI, dumbing down the Map app, and the Gmail app forcing one to use the various categories, etc. etc. etc., all present confusing and unpleasant writing on the wall for the future of Android.
