hopefully they will clue us in soon. hes a wonderful developer.

I sent phiexz a PM already a hour after the threads closed, but i see this on his github

I pmed him, but no respone. Also cm7.2 is closed, so not only old threads.. Damn, who's going to replace his work? I can port from ace, but not compile cm7

He's still developing, you shouldn't just look at xdadev, there are more roms than just the development section for the gio on xda

on the website, when you select gio, the development icons are not clickable! oh no....

Hey guys as you know the world have a galaxy s plus aka AriesVE, too
But our phone isnt supported by many devs we only have like a hand of devs working on AOSP/Cyanogenmod!
So I wanted to ask here for some nice people who could help us by finish porting 3.X kernel (only camera) and Jelly bean (camera )
I know its the wrong place to ask such stuff, but please WE NEED YOU!
I hope some people with a bit free time could help us since I know developing is not easy...

Yeah been using this awhile i don't see any difference. And it is a free app but if you support him you can buy it from the store as a donation to the dev..

That explanation is pure and absolute rubbish, he may know Android but he doesn't know crap about the Linux kernel if he does such claims.
There is a bug in the Linux kernel wasting/eating entropy. It's not related to Android.
Seeder is a ****ty app not for what it tries to do, but for how it does it. You're better off by using one of those scripts who increase a specific configurable. The only true fix is a custom kernel.

@TPAM:Being an RD he should be more humble, I am not the Dev of the files supplied. If he has some kinda of problem which is not understood by me or other fellow members then the link to original thread has been posted. Head on to it and tell the Dev what his problem is. And I don't have any problem in admitting that he has much knowledge about these than me. RD is the title which is gained by him after much dedicated work and knowledge.

I got a budget of 15k INR and I wanna get the best outta it Suggest me Devices of Samsung, Sony and HTC! Not other than that... Should be upgradable to JellyBean atleast

Weird build
JB unconfirmed(I am not sure)
Closed source hardware
These are the best phones you can get in that range. I bought Desire X

You mean "I meant open source in 100% different way" ? QCT chips are among the most obscure hardware you'll find on this planet. What you mean is that qct along with linux foundation and OHA members, releases drivers for their chipsets promptly and has $h1tty security on some of their older chips.
(I have 3 QCT devices, the only information available is through leaks from china).

I'll probably try it when there's a thread. I like to stick with our devs ...even new ones, or new to t989 even. I don't roam from xda roms ....cough...jellybam....cough.
Also like to know I can participate in a thread the devs read and reply too....not a member made thread about an outside our site rom. Cough ....jellybam.....cough!

No, all via no, I will take even longer, the HDMI only works on 4.1.2 roms .....

Tried this rom for about 3 hours, and I did a factory reset and wiped both caches in twrp, but I was having problems with the screen not turning on after being locked, only the button lights lit up, and I had to pull the battery to reset it. I also had problems with it randomly rebooting, and I had to pull that battery for that also, just holding the power button wouldn't turn it on like usual. I would like to know of anyone else is having problems like this, maybe I had a bass download or something, I might redownload it again later to try it again, I really liked it other than the reboot problems

So far I've gotten 1 RR and the screen color was wonky for a little bit.
