New Radio and Various OTA Updates 1/25 - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

I'm rooted, on Tmo US, and on the Koodo ROM.
Do I have to be completely stock to receive the update either OTA or manually through Kies?

Best to be on stock. You will have problems updating using anything other than stock. I think you need stock recovery too.

The new L4 radio is up for download in the Radio thread under development. I flashed it no problem, haven't actually made a phone call with it though.

You don't need stock recovery to update via Kies, but you will have to reinstall custom recovery and reroot afterward. No such issue if you just flash the radio, though.

I can't find a flash able li4 stock rom anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction?

How To Unroot LTE Note II?

Hi guys
I've just purchased this phone so have just come over from the EVO 3D section. I've actually had 5 HTC handsets in a row before this (stretching back to the WinMo days) and tbh I'm finding some things confusing since I was so used to HTC.
Basically, because of those idiots at Sky, who made it so the SkyGO app won't work unless you are unrooted, I'm considering removing root from my phone in order to use the app. I've tried looking but I'm getting confused because of all the different variants of this handset. So I was wondering if someone can tell me how to go about rooting a N7105 model which was purchased in the UK, and where the find the necessary stock firmware?
Thank you in advanced
Just find a stock firmware for your device and flash it via odin.. and it will unroot.. make sure to follow the instructions in flashing a new rom

You can find it here.. http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/... just type you device model in the search box.. then look for the firmware you want
ex. ( GT-N7105United Kingdom (EE)2012 SeptemberAndroid 4.1.1 N7105XXALIJ ) if this is what you want download the pda data and flash it using odin..
I guess you know how to do this part right?? If no I can still give you a hand ..

Ok let me rephrase. I am looking to flash the stock rom that came with the phone. Can you provide a link to it. I still want to be rooted, but I just want my phone looking fresh from factory. Thanks.
The stickied firmware thread is your best bet then. Root66 firmware is at the top.

This site has all the released official roms:

Organized by device and carrier. But the latest official rom has a very unfriendly bootloader and security system. Think twice amigo.
