1) Your device s-off ?
2) which rom are you using ?
3) what do you exactly mean by "no vibrations"
Screen vibration e.g phone vibrates while pressing key ( typing sms etc )
Or
Soft key vibrations
( 4 light buttons below screen )

Hi all,
My DHD is bricked (I think).
I turned off the DHD and never restart.
When I try to access to the recovery the phone vibrate 3 times and nothing on the screen.
When I send : "adb devices" it replies HT0xxxxxxxxxxx recovery.
I tried adb restast recovery but it is the same result: vibrate 3 times and orange blinking, nothing on the screen.
The HBOOT driver is installed and in the peripheral manager my DHD appears : android USB devices
What can I do ??
Help me please and sorry for my bad English !!
What eactly did you do with your phone before this happened?. Is it rooted?

I just switch off.
Yes it is rooted, I have the MIUI ROM.

Are you sure it was a battery problem? Coz my phone's vibrating 3 times as well.
In another forum, their phone supposedly vibrates 7 times, and theyve got a motherboard problem.
I just wanna know if mine is a problem with battery! :/
Hi Everybody,
Have been running nightly #250. Whem I had the phone on mute, everybody could hear my conversation. I rebooted the phone and the problem still remains, mute does not work, even though the light comes on under the mute button and the mike with a cross symbol appears in the notification bar.
I would recommend you to upgrade it to #254...

Tks, I´ll try it
You are welcome .... We are here to help each other right...

Hi, I upgrade to #254 and #256 and the mute button not working yet
Any other idea
Back up everything and flash it with #254 ... I have used it and for me mute works...
Did it worked for you in previous versions??

Tks for your support, but I don´t now what´s happened
I made that and nothing is change. Everything works fine, except this function
It´s my first cyanogen experience. In a few weeks ago, I was used a original rom
See below my system info
ROM:Cyanogenmod 7- Nightly #254
Kernel: 2.6.35.14-nFinity [email protected] #1
Radio:13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10
Now I'm completely clueless because for me it worked (#254 & stable release)...
You should try contacting devs... Or try using other custom roms available out there....

hey...i have a htc desire a8181..roooted with custom rom android 4.1.4 ... but my battery drains in an hour ... i just wanted to know if i reinstall the official 2.3 upgrade os ..will i able to use skype ,whatsapp, candy crush saga ,subway surfers... plesae help.. cause i think ..my htc desire is unable to handle latest roms like 4.1,4.4...
2nd question: i wanna know how to enable trackpad wake up.. cause in my rom there isnt any trackpad wake up option..please help ..
Ps: i m just 14...
There's nothing wrong with being 14
1. Yes, the official 2.3 ROM is, in my opinion, the most suitable for the Desire. And the Desire is capable of handling those apps/games. (Although Subway Surfers might lag a bit, for me)
2. I believe there is a recovery flashable mod that can toggle trackpad wake up.
Hope this helps
